Levis — clothing offer not given despite being clearly eligible | |||||
Today i went to the store at elante in chandigarh and bought goods worth rs. 8795/-. However, this purchase was made under two different bills within a timeframe of 1 hour. As per the advertisement at the store, we needed to make a purchase of rs 7999 to get a backpack of rs 3999. Based on this advertisement, we asked the staff at the counter to give us the backpack as per the offer since our purchase exceeded the required amount. The staff at the counter refused our claim under the pretext that the purchase was made under two different bills instead of just one bill to claim the offer benefit. Moreover the male staff at the counter was very rude and customer unfriendly when they are expected to be polite and understanding in such a situation. This negatively affects the brand image. However, as per the advertisement it just says that the purchase needs to be atleast rs 7999/- to claim the offer benefit. This type of customer service was not expected from a great company like levis when i was clearly eligible to claim the offer benefit as advertised by levis. With such type of customer service i am not interested in buying anything from levis again. I feel deceived by this. For your information the transaction number for both bills is 10722 and 10728.
