I had purchased LG front load fully automatic washing machine on Nov 2009. After one year warranty period I gone to LG AMC for the period of three year. Fortunately only one time the Machine get repaired, after frequent follow up after the three weeks machine has been repaired. After expiring the AMC 2011, I had renewed my AMC with upto 2015 March. My bad luck the machine was repaired April 2012. Since apirl 2012 I keep on registering my complaint through customer care. The customer care only register the complaint and giving register Id. After that no one follow up is there. Since from April I tried upto customer care area service manger, general manager through telephone, there also told we will take necessary steps immediately, but no one is response. Service center person telling that, the required parts should come from LG. LG told that parts are sent to the service center. Who is telling true and who is wrong. I never expected this type of service. LG taking money from customer for Assured Maintenance Care.

    3. Product details-

    LG washing machine, fully automatic, Top loading, Model No: WFT 6517 TE, Date of purchase: 22 Jan 2004 (out of warranty).

    4. The initial snag on the above mentioned machine was abnormal sound during washing. First complain was registered with LG customer care in May 12. Technician came to my house and he advised to bring the machine to repair agency at Bathinda for change of Clutch assembly. Clutch assembly was changed and paid Rs 3398 on 26 May 12 to repair agency. I brought the machine at home, when checked it was found that the drum was rotating in one direction only. Again took the machine to repair agency and brought back after repair, when checked it was found that this time the drum was not rotating in spin mode. Again complain registered, technician came to house, spin problem was rectified but during rectification process water leak developed during the complete washing process. After few days again registered the complain. Technician came to home and advised for change of drain valve. Drain valve changed on 28 Jul 12 and paid Rs 365. Water leak stopped but again the drum was not rotating in spin mode. Like wise about for more than 10 times technicians has come to my home but they are not able to rectify the snag. In short- when water leak stops spin problem develops and vise versa. Including transportation charges I have paid about Rs 5000 for this machine. Where as the cost of new machine of similar model for me through CSD is Rs 12,260. I understand this is a great loss & inconvenience for me, due to poor technical knowledge of LG Company and Service Center. Now I do’t need any repair service for the same machine from LG. But at the same time I will have to purchase a new machine. Should I go for LG? It’s question for you. Any comments, please reply on my e-mail- [protected]@rediffmail.com.

    LG Washing Machine — Water leaking

    A number of times I called to LG Helpline to fix the problem
    But nobody comes after giving appoinment also.

    Very frustrating brand LG, After sales service is very very pathetic.

    I donot know how the company is managing the staff.
    No I am feeling helpless as to whom should I approach.
    I am thinking to throw away this LG washing machine and
    NOw the problem is solved, THe LG service person had came to repair

    Now I am happy that the problem resolved.

    LG — My LG washing Machine is having a leakage

    My LG washing machine of model WP-8004 is found to have a leakage and so water is flowing out of it!!!

    LG Washing Machine — Water dripping- Poor customer support

    Sirs,
    I have made complaint about my LG washing machine model No.WD 85260NP, the machine was dripping water and not working properly. I have made the complaint on[protected] and a technician by name Mr.Prince visited on[protected] and removed all parts from the machine stating drum has to be changed and assured me to come back on the next day. I have been desperately contacting the LG Service Nos. But, so far nobody has turned up to repair the washing machine and we find it difficult to to keep the entire removed parts in safe custody. Further, the washing machine's removed parts are getting rusted.

    I never expected these type of attitude and behavior from a reputed firm like LG Electronics. I hope my problems would be addressed immediately.

      Customer care number extremely rude and unconcerned about complaint. AC not working for more than 10 days now. After calling 3-4 different numbers, they say they will come to collect the unit only when they have another work to do in the same area and they cannot come just to collect my unit. Since the unit is under warranty, they are obviously not keen to provide me the required service.

      After speaking to them, since they recognise my number, everyone has stopped picking up calls from my numbers.

      LG — Extremely poor service

      I am extremely disappointed with the poor service that LG extends to its customers. Over the past few days, the compressor of my LG Air Conditioner has been tripping frequently even at the lowest temperature. I had raised a complaint regarding the same on 1st October RNA [protected] and on 5th October again RNA[protected]. Despite my repeated complaints, the issue has still not been resolved. Apart from the Compressor tripping, I was told by the LG engineer who visited my house that the gas has also leaked. I was promised that they would correct both the issues as a priority but it has been a week now and unfortunately nothing has been done.

      I had got an AMC done (AMC help No. JJ04906) with the hope and assurance of the best services but to my dismay it has turned out to be far from my expectations. I am really fed up of raising complaints over and over again and not getting any response from LG's end.

      I hope that I will not be forced to elevate this matter to the state federal agencies. I would like to highlight that this is not the first time that LG has let me down. I am losing faith in the Customer service that it offers and it is high time that this vicious circle o[censored]nprofessionalism and poor customer service is broken.

        This is regarding LG mobile model no LG E400, which i bought on 28 June, 2012. After one month i got the problem in hand set and give it to LG customer care center ( Comhard Technologies pvt. ltd. Laxmi Nagar, New Delhi) on 17/08/2012. They give me the timing that your phone will be repaired till 24/05/2012. But till the date my mobile is not repaired and service center is not giving me satisfactory answer.

          I have purchased a LG LED TV,model no-LG42LV5500 from Pantloon India,Bhubaneswar,odisha,a unit of Future group on dated 28/01/2012.On dated 1/08/2012 my tv got some problem on the screen.i have lodged a complain future group they simply refused to attained the call,then i lodged a complain to LG through online no-RNA[protected] dated-02/08/12.A service engineer came and atended the call on the same day and replyed the picture tube was damaged and they will replaced the picture tube.They denied to replaced the model.
          But it is very very sad thing that once while at the time of purchasing sales people of future group and LG run behind us,after that we run for them.

          Still now my complain was not closed.

              My LG Refrigerator is not working since 20.08.2012 as gas is discharged . I lodged my compint no. RMA[protected] on 22.08.2012 with LG Cutomer care at Noida. But till date no body has turned up for attending the complaint despite assurances every day from Mr. Sameer Dewan, Ms. Alka, Ms. Kiran of LG that they will come tomorrow. I recommend that nobody should buy LG products as their post sale service is worst.

                Hi LG Team

                I am writing to you as a result of countless arguments and follow up
                with the LG Customer care and Region Centers for a wrong buy.

                We had bought a 42 inch TV from one of the famous retail outlets on
                15th Aug'12 at Mumabi. The Outlet displayed a huge board of amazing
                discount of 40% on a 42 inch LED 3D TV, which seemed to be an
                irresistible buy for a middle class family like ours.

                Having the TV delivered to my cousins house in Mumbai, we paid the
                additional cost
                of travel at the mumbai Airport to Bangalore.

                On 23rd Aug we requested for installation of TV. Seeing no response
                from the local LG team we asked the Call Centre guys for a POC at
                Bangalore. NO BODY seemed to pick the phone even after ringing 10 - 15
                times. After several other follow ups from the customer care we got
                Mohans number. We were promised an immediate support within 24 hrs.
                Again after several followups we had someone do the installation for
                us. Post installation, the TV DID NOT TURN ON!!!

                The Demo guy obviously had no idea what was wrong, said he would send
                an engineer to fix it within 24 hrs. The procedure o[censored]s following up
                continued when an engineer came to diagnose the problem. The same
                story of being "lost" and keeping us in the "dark" continued when he
                said, "Sir I don't know, you will get a call tomorrow". After several
                followups from us AGAIN, and to and fro conversations, we get a revert
                that they will not be able to replace the TV, they would however fix
                it for us.

                Now can someone or anyone answer me the below questions.

                1. Why would i want to pay a huge lump some amount for a repaired TV
                and still assume it as a new TV???
                2. Aug '15th showed other brands of amazing discounts which we did not
                opt for and bought LG assuming it was the best buy. If we are refunded
                the money right now, will we have to wait for another festival to buy
                a new tv?
                3. We paid 62994 after discount. The local team claims to refund the
                amount which was billed at the retail store. After 2 weeks of
                maintaining the TV, ensuring the safety from mumbai to bangalore, who
                is going to refund the extra amount of endless followups we have made
                to the customer service, local team, Mr Mohan, the engineer and the
                damage done to our walls due to drilling of the wall mount stand???

                This is an absolute breach of trust and customer service. As a
                customer i demand immediate revert on how will this be resolved. This
                will also be my final communication to LG as a company for any
                complaints. I will ensure I spend all my time and money at the
                consumer court to receive justice on this.

                    Hi,

                    I own a LG HDMI DVD 5.1 player which got some problem recently due to which I gave it to LG Authorized service center at Sanpada, Navi Mumbai on 13th June 2012 almost two months for repair.

                    The service personnel whom I was coordinating told me there is power issue & it will take time to repair so after repeated calls & visits & reminders for almost 45 days I managed to get the DVD player back

                    After reaching home I started & again stopped playing within minutes after playing the device then i returned it to them for repair & now they came up with another excuse of part problem

                    I had already spent INR 1200 to repair & now they are asking for INR 2500 more else they are returning the player in earlier condition

                    My question is why are they so unskilled to keep changing the problem & in same rate was repairs is equal to new DVD player.

                    To add to this when I escalated this to Service Manager he was arrogant, rude & highly disrespectful even when i shared that I can go to consumer forum he challenged stating "you can go ahead"?

                    I am a repeat customer for LG & its appliances since ages, is this treatment expected out of you guys????

                      I purchased L.G washing machine in november 2011.Its model no.
                      P8533R4M. Its buzzer is weak from the day I bought .dealer said in this modal their is no buzzer.
                      I complained in toll free no of company they said there is buzzer and it is registered
                      no action is taken . I complained in warrenty period it,create lots of problem. Please help me.

                        My LG LED Smart TV has a problem in terms of video. I had complained on the 9th of August and still the issue is not resolved. There has been periodic excuses from the technician like :
                        1. The company has sent LCD panel in an LED pack. Therefore I had ordered for another panel.
                        This excuse stayed for 3-4 days and after no response from them, I called again called for the status. This time there was another excuse :
                        2. The panel that was sent by the company is broken, so, ordered for another one. After regular calling him for knowing what had happened, he finally started to cut the call seeing my number. After 1-2 days, he finally attended the call and replied telling that I had told you that I have ordered. Please dont call me. I doubt whether the company follows this method of handling the customers. One fine day, on the 24th of August, the person called me and told that he will be coming in 1/2-an-hour to change the panel. He came and started working and finally there was another excuse :
                        3. An LCD panel has been kept in an LED pack(the same reason as said earlier). When asked why didnt he checked earlier his excuse was :
                        4. We can open the pack in the company. This was totally unexpected as he was the person who told me that reason first time after checking and now...

                        This is totally not acceptable from LG. My worry is that, I had complained 2 months back about a problem in my video for which the same person came and told me that this is a problem with my Dish Antenna. Is it anything wrong to complain about a problem in LG? I would not have disappointed to this level but I had a previous experience with LG is resolving my complaint for LG fridge. This is too much and I never know whether the managers know all these happening even after 2 weeks a call is open.

                          I have complained with their service centre detais are as under


                          1) RNA #.[protected] Dt……….They did not care to write date
                          2) Inv# 2971 Dt …………..Did not write date but it is on[protected]
                          3) Verbally they informed that part is not available and will fix it “AS SOON AS AVILABL” No promise of date
                          4) They ask you to call every 3rd day. As if we are their Employee.

                          Is this the sort of service we get from LG?

                            Dear Sir/Madam,
                            My 29' TV Model No.29fe5rge - Ta, Sl.no.62lpef031540. shows some errors and now it is in your Thodupuzha Service Centre, in Idukki dist., Kerala, for repair from 30/04/2012 onwards(work order no.299). As per the service manager picture tube is complaint and it will be need to replace and I am waiting for that. but now they told there is no such picture tube in stock and I have not get back the TV till date even this Onam festival time after these long time of 4 months. kindly make sure to repair my TV set at the earliest.

                            i have complain for LG TV on 17 sep 2011, second day service executive came and said prob is with I.C. so we have replace it than we said ok you replace it than he said it will take 2-3 days, after 2 days he called and said i have received that IC, and i will come at 1pm, we said ok but he did not come till 5 pm and when we were calling, he did not pick up the phone and in the night when pickup to call said rudely that i dont have time, when ever i will be having time i will come (SO FROM THIS WORDS WE CAN IMAGIN HOW PATHETIC SERVICE IS LG ELECTRONIC HAVING AND THIS TYPE OF ENGINEERING RECRUITED BY LG) , How can a employee say such things pathetically , and this type of sevice is LG having... ;-(

                            and one thing i forgot to say.. he (sukant Mishra) (his mob. no. start with 99536*****) was saying that you give me 250 i will repair it than no need to pay 496 service charge to LG elctronic.

                              We have purchased a 32- LED from authorised dealer of L.G at Mira Road.They have given a Warranty for one year.Within an year on 07/08/2012 the LED got completely dead.We have called dealer no.[protected] and got a reply that within 24 hours mechanic will arrive.After 48 of hours waiting we have called L.G customer care no.[protected].They have given us a Complaint No. RNA[protected].After several reminders they have given a service centre number (Sky Services)-[protected].After several calls a person finally arrived and told us that your LED - P.C B has to be changed we will order the parts to head office.(Your are giving Warranty and parts are not available with you).After that we are not getting proper response either from Dealer or Service centre or from Customer care that when our LED will be repaired.This is the service L.G is providing in a city like Mumbai I am worrying about the people who are using L.G product in Rural areas.
                              I want my complete money back and i don't what any business with L.G either personnel or official.For kind information I am working with a international chain of hotel as a Project Manager. I will take this matter internationally if any product of L.G will be recommended.

                                i purchase one lg lcd tv on 15th aug 2012
                                shopkeeper told they will install. but no one call or came,on 16th aug call on customer care(sanjeev) call req no-RNA[protected] Mob-[protected] they told within 72 hr technician will come and install, no body came during given period,again called lg customer care on 21th aug they told within 24 hr any body will come to install.
                                no one cane again talked 23thaug again told within 24 hr will come and install.
                                please help me. do needful.

                                  I, Mr. Rohit G Santoshwar resident of Mumbai, India , using your LG refrigerator from last 8 months and am facing lots of problem with this model i made number of complains to your customer care of India but they are responding to my complains. Around 4 engineers came at my place they are just inspecting my refrigerator and saying that they will be back by 2 days with all parts which not working but they are not coming back nor they are giving me any kind of details about the progress . When i had talk with customer care they provided me with numbers of offices and different people naming Prashant Patil and Swapnil Salvi but all the numbers which they gave me are not working because of which am not able to make contact with mumbai service station also. This whole drama is going on from last 1 month and now i have reached to apogee of my patience if proper actions are not taken with in 2 working days am moving to CONSUMER COURT for my rights. So do the needful things and fix my problem as soon as possible.

RNA[protected] WITH ME STATING THAT SAME WILL BE COLLECTED BACK AFTER ISSUNCE OF CASH MEMO.NOW AFTER THE LAPSE OF 22 DAYS AND REPEATED TELEPHONE CALLS THERE IS NO RESPONCE FROM REPAIRER.I WOULD LIKE TO ADD THAT THE SAID A.C.                                       This is my continuation of my first complaint gave on 3rd July,2012.
                                      After my complaint the service engineer came to my home.. He did something. After that there was no water leakage.

                                      But after that, the washing machine is not taking enough water to wash and rinse the clothes.(taking very little water) We told the engineer about this.. He came and changed the board. We put the singnature in the form with the comment "under observation" (he didnt come after that)

                                      Till now the problem continues. We compained again. But they are not properly responding.

                                      Problems are coming frequently.
                                      In the past one and half years we registered complaint so many times (different problems). We are not happy with our washing machine.
                                      We want replacement of our washing machine.


                                      Please do the needful.

                                      Customer Service of LG is Cheating Customers

                                      I bought a LG washing machine (FL WD -80490NP) serial numbered:W-80490NP on 1.12.2010 at VASANTH & CO ,T.Na gar , Chennai BILL NO:2153 in the name of DIVYA .
                                      I have registered complainant on 25.05.2012 to LG Customer Care, LG service engineer attend call on 29.05.2012. He analysis and suspected drum may be faulty due to that water leakage and noise occurring in washing machine, then he logged an request to LG service centre (contact no:[protected].

                                      LG service people came and collected washing machine on 29.06.2012 to service centre by providing Job sheet - AC, Job No:[protected], product serial no:707PN-312,Model:WD-80490NP.

                                      They have delivered the machine on 3.7.2012 without any change in machine with the same faulty machine.

                                      Remark found in washing machine not yet resolved till date.
                                      1.High noise caused in drum while running
                                      2.Water leakage

                                      I CAN'T USE MY WASHING MACHINE TILL DATE, I HAVE NOT FOUND SUCH AN WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE TIME FOR ANY PRODUCT
