My LG LED Smart TV has a problem in terms of video. I had complained on the 9th of August and still the issue is not resolved. There has been periodic excuses from the technician like :
1. The company has sent LCD panel in an LED pack. Therefore I had ordered for another panel.
This excuse stayed for 3-4 days and after no response from them, I called again called for the status. This time there was another excuse :
2. The panel that was sent by the company is broken, so, ordered for another one. After regular calling him for knowing what had happened, he finally started to cut the call seeing my number. After 1-2 days, he finally attended the call and replied telling that I had told you that I have ordered. Please dont call me. I doubt whether the company follows this method of handling the customers. One fine day, on the 24th of August, the person called me and told that he will be coming in 1/2-an-hour to change the panel. He came and started working and finally there was another excuse :
3. An LCD panel has been kept in an LED pack(the same reason as said earlier). When asked why didnt he checked earlier his excuse was :
4. We can open the pack in the company. This was totally unexpected as he was the person who told me that reason first time after checking and now...

This is totally not acceptable from LG. My worry is that, I had complained 2 months back about a problem in my video for which the same person came and told me that this is a problem with my Dish Antenna. Is it anything wrong to complain about a problem in LG? I would not have disappointed to this level but I had a previous experience with LG is resolving my complaint for LG fridge. This is too much and I never know whether the managers know all these happening even after 2 weeks a call is open.

    I have complained with their service centre detais are as under


    1) RNA #.[protected] Dt……….They did not care to write date
    2) Inv# 2971 Dt …………..Did not write date but it is on[protected]
    3) Verbally they informed that part is not available and will fix it “AS SOON AS AVILABL” No promise of date
    4) They ask you to call every 3rd day. As if we are their Employee.

    Is this the sort of service we get from LG?

      Dear Sir/Madam,
      My 29' TV Model No.29fe5rge - Ta, Sl.no.62lpef031540. shows some errors and now it is in your Thodupuzha Service Centre, in Idukki dist., Kerala, for repair from 30/04/2012 onwards(work order no.299). As per the service manager picture tube is complaint and it will be need to replace and I am waiting for that. but now they told there is no such picture tube in stock and I have not get back the TV till date even this Onam festival time after these long time of 4 months. kindly make sure to repair my TV set at the earliest.

      LG 29 Inch TV — no response from company and engineer

      i have complain for LG TV on 17 sep 2011, second day service executive came and said prob is with I.C. so we have replace it than we said ok you replace it than he said it will take 2-3 days, after 2 days he called and said i have received that IC, and i will come at 1pm, we said ok but he did not come till 5 pm and when we were calling, he did not pick up the phone and in the night when pickup to call said rudely that i dont have time, when ever i will be having time i will come (SO FROM THIS WORDS WE CAN IMAGIN HOW PATHETIC SERVICE IS LG ELECTRONIC HAVING AND THIS TYPE OF ENGINEERING RECRUITED BY LG) , How can a employee say such things pathetically , and this type of sevice is LG having... ;-(

      and one thing i forgot to say.. he (sukant Mishra) (his mob. no. start with 99536*****) was saying that you give me 250 i will repair it than no need to pay 496 service charge to LG elctronic.

        We have purchased a 32- LED from authorised dealer of L.G at Mira Road.They have given a Warranty for one year.Within an year on 07/08/2012 the LED got completely dead.We have called dealer no.[protected] and got a reply that within 24 hours mechanic will arrive.After 48 of hours waiting we have called L.G customer care no.[protected].They have given us a Complaint No. RNA[protected].After several reminders they have given a service centre number (Sky Services)-[protected].After several calls a person finally arrived and told us that your LED - P.C B has to be changed we will order the parts to head office.(Your are giving Warranty and parts are not available with you).After that we are not getting proper response either from Dealer or Service centre or from Customer care that when our LED will be repaired.This is the service L.G is providing in a city like Mumbai I am worrying about the people who are using L.G product in Rural areas.
        I want my complete money back and i don't what any business with L.G either personnel or official.For kind information I am working with a international chain of hotel as a Project Manager. I will take this matter internationally if any product of L.G will be recommended.

          shopkeeper told they will install. but no one call or came,on 16th aug call on customer care(sanjeev) call req no-RNA[protected] Mob-[protected] they told within 72 hr technician will come and install, no body came during given period,again called lg customer care on 21th aug they told within 24 hr any body will come to install.
          no one cane again talked 23thaug again told within 24 hr will come and install.
          please help me. do needful.

            Sir,
            I, Mr. Rohit G Santoshwar resident of Mumbai, India , using your LG refrigerator from last 8 months and am facing lots of problem with this model i made number of complains to your customer care of India but they are responding to my complains. Around 4 engineers came at my place they are just inspecting my refrigerator and saying that they will be back by 2 days with all parts which not working but they are not coming back nor they are giving me any kind of details about the progress . When i had talk with customer care they provided me with numbers of offices and different people naming Prashant Patil and Swapnil Salvi but all the numbers which they gave me are not working because of which am not able to make contact with mumbai service station also. This whole drama is going on from last 1 month and now i have reached to apogee of my patience if proper actions are not taken with in 2 working days am moving to CONSUMER COURT for my rights. So do the needful things and fix my problem as soon as possible.

                This is my continuation of my first complaint gave on 3rd July,2012.
                After my complaint the service engineer came to my home.. He did something. After that there was no water leakage.

                But after that, the washing machine is not taking enough water to wash and rinse the clothes.(taking very little water) We told the engineer about this.. He came and changed the board. We put the singnature in the form with the comment "under observation" (he didnt come after that)

                Till now the problem continues. We compained again. But they are not properly responding.

                Problems are coming frequently.
                In the past one and half years we registered complaint so many times (different problems). We are not happy with our washing machine.
                We want replacement of our washing machine.

                Customer Service of LG is Cheating Customers

                I bought a LG washing machine (FL WD -80490NP) serial numbered:W-80490NP on 1.12.2010 at VASANTH & CO ,T.Na gar , Chennai BILL NO:2153 in the name of DIVYA .
                I have registered complainant on 25.05.2012 to LG Customer Care, LG service engineer attend call on 29.05.2012. He analysis and suspected drum may be faulty due to that water leakage and noise occurring in washing machine, then he logged an request to LG service centre (contact no:[protected].

                LG service people came and collected washing machine on 29.06.2012 to service centre by providing Job sheet - AC, Job No:[protected], product serial no:707PN-312,Model:WD-80490NP.

                They have delivered the machine on 3.7.2012 without any change in machine with the same faulty machine.

                Remark found in washing machine not yet resolved till date.
                1.High noise caused in drum while running
                2.Water leakage

                I CAN'T USE MY WASHING MACHINE TILL DATE, I HAVE NOT FOUND SUCH AN WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE TIME FOR ANY PRODUCT

                  Now I have been informed by McAfee that the subscription for McAfee Antivirus offered by LG will be expired on 29th August 2012.

                  I cannot understand when LG has confirmed that the above monitor is provided with one year absolute free MacAfee antivirus, how it will be expired on 29th August 2012.

                  Please could you clarify and resolved the matter as soon as possible.

                  LG 19 inch monitor — frequent changes in the resolution

                  the monitor changes the resolution which result in the distraction of the images and the letters
                  at the resolution range 1440 by 900 it is normal and the changed resolution is 1600 by 900 which is the problem.
                  it has been more than six months i am going through the problem. most recently i loged the complaint on saterday 1st of august, i was told the concerned person will contact me within 24 hours but i have not been contacted by any one till now

                          I have purchased LG refrigerator Model GL-241SADG5, serial No. 906LPAG001016 vide invoice No. 957 Dated 30 June 2009. In the very first year (dated 23 March 2010) it started showing defect in the cooling. It was repaired free of cost by the LG service center during warranty period on 23-March-2010. Again the same defect appeared on 28-March-2012 and i got it repaired from service center& its freezer was replaced , for which i was charged Rs. 1685. It is very unfortunate that it is again showing the same defect on dated 13 Aug. 2012. At local LG service center, it was refused to repair free of cost. Since it having troubles frequently, It should be replaced by new one else i will be left with no option but to go the Consumer Court for remedial action.

                              lg tromm — not responding

                              last week on 26/02/2010 my lg tromm washing machine was making a lot of noise
                              while working which was unusual. so i contacted the nearest lg service
                              centre and a serviceman came to check the fault on 27/02/2010. he told that
                              "ACC IS REQUIRED". he also mentioned that the problem would be
                              solved by him and the machine shouldn't be used until the problem is solved.
                              there was no response from lg services after that.

                              Well I decided to just wear black clothes because a LG Tromm has never seen a stain it didn't keep.
                              I call it "pretend washing" that is where you just rub the scent of laundry detergent on you clothes and just keep
                              wearing them. Obviously black clothes are better so you don't look like one of the homeless.

                                My LG Washing machine model no: WF T7516MN ACGPEIL purchased on 14.06.08 is under AMC HLP No: LG004585 with LG from 10.9.11 to 9.912
                                .Last month I made a complaint with LG about the repair, the rep. came and attended and told the they have to change some parts and after that no body has attended till this date. Am very much affected becoz of not able to use it. I launched the complaint several times but till now nobody bothered abt it. Kindly pass this to them and do the needful.

                                LG Electronics — Not attending to complaint

                                I filed a complaint for my microwave oven on 17th July. COmplaint number WC71802979. I was directed to Shree Ganesh Electronics Thans as I live in Thane.
                                I spoke to Joseph Fernandez the LG Area Service Incharge but he also has failed to attend to my complaint and my Microwave is cold as ice.
                                Spoke to Dattarraya from Shre Ganesh and this person is the most irresponsible person working that I have ever come across. He keeps me on wait for 11 minutes and refuses to talk to me on phone for the 50th call that I have made to get the desired service for my cold and nearly dead Microwave oven.

                                The shree ganesh manager Rakesh Bhardwaj assures me today that the complaint will be attended to without knowing the nature of the complaint. LG Customer care is an example how the company is aggressive to get sales and very poor to attend to custmer complaints for service.

                                STILL LG CLAIMS TO BE A LEADING ELECTRONICS CONSUMER DURABLE COMPANY.

                                Hi,

                                My LG microwave oven stopped working on 15th Jan-10 and i raised a complaint regarding the same on 15th Jan at around 9:00am. The complaint number is SAC11500494. The customer care officer assured me that the microwave will be repaired with in 24hrs and even after 48hrs nothing seems to be working. I have placed around 20 calls to the LG customer service and every thime the customer care executive is telling like i will place a reminder and all that stuff. This is the worst ever customer service in India. Dear all who all are listening never ever buy any LG product..even for getting the demo of the new product you purchase you will have to call the customer care center atleast 10-15 times.

But for the past 3 or 4 months its not working properly the same fault coming always, I have complained many times in Service centre but there is no proper solution for my problem till now, Now also the same problem came i have complained 1 week before till now no service man or further calls came from their side.                                       LG — Mobile theft

                                      Sir,

                                      My sister was travelling from tambaram to Mylapore in 21G bus.. She heard songs while travel and when the destination is nearing she placed her mobile phone in her hand bag. The bus was crowded. From mylapore she boarded another bus ( 29 C )to Vannanthurai ( Near Besant nagar ) , On reaching the hostel it is shocking to her from her that the mobile was missing... I have blocked the Outgoing calls from that NO and giving the details of the handset. If you can help in means it can be of great favor. Have tried to register a complaint with the tambaram police station. They asked me to register the complaint in the mylapore police station. I cant accept his theory as we are in the 20th century.

                                        Hi All,

                                        I have purchased a new LG split AC on 5th Aug 2012 from a LG exclusive showroom “RAZZLE DAZZLE INDIA” New Delhi. It model is “LG LSA 5MR3”.

                                        It had installed on the same day. But since installation it is not working perfectly. I am facing the following 3 issues in it -

                                        1. I am not getting the proper cooling from unit.
                                        2. Always there is a water leakage from the Indoor Unit (Problem in drain pipe slope or Indoor unit slope).
                                        3. The electric MCV goes down frequently during AC running.

                                        I complaint two times in LG customer care. The LG engineers visit both times but did not solve the problem and there answer was as follows on the above issues–

                                        1. First Visit - The gas level is low that’s why cooling is less. As your installation is not done by LG engineer so we are not responsible for that.
                                        Second Visit – Gas level is correct and Cooling is perfect. (I has another LG split AC and there is a huge difference in cooling. I purchased the LG AC only as I was satisfied with my first LG AC). I told him to compare the coldness of two ACs through meter but they had not any meter at that time.
                                        2. First Visit – The installation is not perfect. As your installation is not done by LG engineer so we are not responsible for that.
                                        Second Visit – The installation is not perfect. As your installation is not done by LG engineer so we are not responsible for that.
                                        3. First Visit – Due to gas level problem the MCV is going down again and again.
                                        Second Visit – Everything is perfect. MCV should not goes down.

                                        I have pay the full installation amount of Rs 1500/-. As I purchased the AC form the LG exclusive showroom, How can I know who done the installation. During purchase dealer told me that installation will be done by LG engineer.

                                        In any case, as a customer, it is not my fault. It is either dealer fault or LG fault.

                                        I spent a huge amount and result is that - I can’t use my new AC from day 1.

                                        It is my humble request, please take the necessary action to rectify my AC problems as soon as possible.

                                        LG One tonne Split AC — Non functioning of AC(cooling not working properly)

                                        This has reference to my earlier complaint regarding non functioning of LG One Tonne Split AC.

                                        Even after a number of complaints and visits of the mechanics, the problem still persists. It appears that either the mechanics are not able to solve the exact cause or the piece which I bought is defective.

                                        LG — NON FUNCTIONING OF SPLIT AC

                                        I, Suresh Pai one of your valued customer first bought LG TV in 2003 I was very happy by your service and also by your product I also insisted my friends to buy LG TV. Then I bought another LG product Automatic Washing Machine in 2005 which has also given me good result, so I felt in love with LG products and there after I always tell my friends & relatives to buy LG products due to Good result of products and also very good service whenever they take my opinon. Then in 2009 I went for your another product without thinking of any other company. I bought two LG split A/C , one of 0.75 tons and other for 2 tons for my Res. But sorry to say that your 0.75 tons A/C in last 400 Days I have not used even 40 Days and the service provided by you is very very poor. The A/C was mostly lying in your workshop most of the time especially in April & May 2010 when it has a maxmium utilisation. Being an electronic product I do agree that even the new piece can be defective so I even told your Service Centre to replace the piece but they went on repairing sometime Gas leak or some other time some other fault they even replaced the compresser but of no use. Last month they again took full set of A/C and brought it after almost 20 days without pluge and now condition of these A/C is that it looks very old (some 3 to 4 years old A/C) as everywhere they have used taps and they told that they had forgetten to bring the pluge and they will be coming tomorrow but Sir 6 days have passed nobody is bother to give service.
                                        So I am asking you as a customer,Is this the way to treat your customers?????????????????????????
                                        The problems which I have faced during this-
                                        1) Mental depression during my children’s exams
                                        2)Loss of money (phone charges & petrol of my car
                                        3) Wastage of time during exams
                                        4) Violation of consumer right (right to be informed)
                                        Etc etc etc.....
                                        On the above facts I can & I want to file a case against LG and the dealer for depression.
                                        Actions I want from company's side-
                                        1) Replace my ac immediately (.75 ton 5star BAA ratings)
                                        2) Take strict actions against Mr. Manish and Mr. Amit.
                                        So, I request you to look into the matter personally.

                                        LG — AC Drain leakage

                                        Sir,
                                        I have bought a property from Unitech Harmony -Sector -50,Which comes with interiors.One of it is LG 1.5 ton air conditioner.There is some problem with the drain pipe.The LG service engineer is denied to open the A/c citing lack of space above the A/c set and we have to remove our false ceiling in order to open the unit and check the drain leakage.
                                        Please assist me how to handle this.The service engineer was very rude to us and forcing us to remove the ceiling now.
