Brand new LG Dishwasher installed July 9th. RNP[protected].
Installer was slick enough to hide the damage to hinge while installing, and collected the "happiness code" before we could notice. Within minutes after providing the code, he would no longer pick up calls or respond back.
We think either the item was dropped by delivery guys or the installer mishandled the door, but the result is door sitting a few mm slant and a dent near hinge on one side.
LG flat out refused to replace the item, and only agreed to send a "repair" person, who never even showed up - we just got one text msg.
Very disappointed. No more LG products for us for sure. Customer satisfaction is not in LG India's vocabulary. Was this information helpful? |
My question to LG rep who called later was simple; would you buy a banged up appliance at full price, because it works just fine? Rep said NO! point made. LG however stands resolute. You paid, now it's your loss.
