LG Electronics — LG LCD 65 inches panel faulty twice in 1 year | |||
We bought an LG LCD TV 65 inches less than a year back. Three months back, the screen showed big black spot and the service engineer came and checked it. He announced that the panel is faulty and needs replacement. The whole panel was replaced. Now in less than three months the TV again shows a black spot on some other place. The service engineer again announces that the LCD panel is faulty. If for such a costly invenstment, the same part has got spoilt twice in one year, what is the guarantee that the panel will not get spoilt again in 2 months? Once the TV is out of warranty, no replacement no part change would be possible. So I requested the officials that I need a TV replacement or atleast free extended warranty for the part/product. But after 5 days of complain also, there is no action. I have contacted Gayatri the area officer, Mr Mallick the ASM, Mr Swamy another official. But not a single satisfactory answer. For a product of 4 lakh, the company is not ready to take responsibility of a faulty product.
