[Resolved] LG Electronics — LG LCD TV | |||
I am an unfortunate customer who purchased an LG LCD Television. Without any reason the TV had conked off without any visuals or audio on 2-9-2014. I had registered my complaint with the LG Customer care division ([protected]) and my complaint No: was provided as RNA[protected]. After 2 days a service executive had come and inspected the tv and told that there was a complaint with "circuit board" on which power supply was not going through. Since Onam festival was due he replied that he will book the spare part and it will soon be replaced within a week. (After calling him countless times on a daily basis) he came after a period of 2 weeks on 16-9-14 and as he tried to replace the spare board brought with him, it was found that the said spare "board" belonged to some other model and not LCD version which I had. I don't know what kind of service executives are being employed by LG Company who don't even know the basic difference between a spare part of one particular model from another. Again he left promising to return within two days with the correct spare part. When I contacted him he gave the office number of local LG customer office to know whether the spare part had reached the destination or not and after making tall claims that an sms will sent to my phone as and when the spare part reaches Cochin (which till date I have not received) the service executive (mob No:[protected])had then after that he came today[protected]. Imagine my surprise and anger when the spare part which he brought again was not the right one. He tried his maximum best to do a temporary job by fixing the spare part brought with cello tapes which I provided and when my wife told him to do a proper job of it, he had the audacity to say that any spare part of LG has a 6 months guarantee...meaning which if a complaint crops up again which I am sure it will (because of his desperation in wanting to complete the job by hook or by crook) I have to again go through with the process of registering the complaint again and waiting for an indefinite period for LG service to respond. He has left today harping that he will be back in two days which I do not believe. I have lost faith in LG after undergoing this experience and I swear that never again will I opt for an LG product in my life. Such a renowned company with such a deficient and negligent service. When will such multinational companies come to realise the truth that it is not upon purchasing a product that they win the customer's heart and love but by indulging in aggressive after sales service which has been zero so far in this case.
