LG Electronics — LG Split AC not working and poor response by service technician

The LG Split Ac Model Number LSA5FG2VTY1 installed in my residence in Kolkata has stopped working. It is tripping regularly immediately after we start. The LG service engineer that came yesterday said that the sensor and display panel is not working. After reviewing his database, he told us that the company has stopped manufacturing the above components and as per Company Policy, we can look at selling the AC at 15 per cent of its original price. I escalated the matter as this is not acceptable to me. Last evening a lady had called me to enquire about my AC and to inform me that the parts are no longer available for the AC that I just bought around 4 years back. On insisting that how can a reputed company like LG dupe a customer like this, she mentioned that she will call us back today to inform us the way forward.
However, we have not received any call today and the AC is still not working. We are amazed by the insincerity that LG is showing in this particular case
I am left with no other option but to escalate the matter and make other customers aware of this incident so that nobody else gets trapped by LG's faulty product and poor customer service
