Dear Sir,
We have a microwave MC 767 W model which is purchased in 2005. Start Button of the microwave on touch panel was not working. Complaint was registered with help line for the same problem. Complaint Number[protected].
LG Technician visited for repair and found touch panel and some IC on the panel (Control Card) is faulty.Technician noted down the model number for ordering the parts, he said after receipt of part repair will be done.
Today technician called and informed that the part is obsolete and company is unable to supply the part, service for the part and suggested to give the microwave in exchange offer and buy a new one.
Now the point is is this logical to buy a new machine for the part costing around 1000 INR????
Same thing was discussed with Mr. Kulkarni Cell no:[protected] He suggested same thing and mentioned that this is our company policy. This is highly condemn able policy of LG to ask customers to purchase new products in lieu of faulty products.
I have image of LG of good business standards and we have procured all the domestic appliances of LG viz. TV, AC, Washing Machine. If this is the matter with all the equipment's you will loose your customer base.
I am very disappointed with the service which i got from LG.
I request you to fix my microwave ASAP.
