I had a led tv of 42 inch which was bought around june, 2013. Model number: 42le5500. Atr. The tv suddenly stopped working with only the logo on screen. I called the customer care for sending an executive for checking the problem and replacing whichever part is required. A representative visited my home and informed me that a part has to be changed and he would get it within two - three days. Later, i received a phone call from a representative of lg by the name of raju roy. The reference no. Of the conversation is[protected]. He informed me that lg stopped making the particular part and the company can offer no help. After insisting, he further told me that if the complaint was made within 6 years of purchase (Which is three months earlier), the company could provide compensation. I asked that representative to make me talk to a senior representative, to which he abruptly denied. Is this your attitude of “service” towards your customers, seriously? Just because it’s 3 months later than the stipulated time frame, a loyal customer gets no help? I am registering a case at the consumer court for the same, as i see that the lg company can’t help me. I was contemplating on buying one more tv from lg, namely oled tv of 55 inch for my personal room. But after such a bad response from your customer care, how am i going to trust your services in future?
I have numerous high end lg products at home but i am very disappointed with the customer care response this time. I’d rather shift my loyalty to other competitors of lg and persuade rest of the nation to do so. I am sure there are many more customers like me whom i would like to voice at the court. This is an information mail so that we can talk about this reference in the court.
