I have purchased the subject mobile phone on 5th March 2015 from Ranchi (Jharkhand). The mobile was working fine till July 2015. There was some problem with LCD and charging unit of the mobile and hence was take to LG Service Centre at Nehru Place, New Delhi. They told me that the damage to charging unit and LCD is not warrantable. I argued with Service Centre people that this mobile is under warranty period and then also they are asking money for repairs. They informed that this cannot be done under warranty since the mobile is an obsolete set. I argued that why such set was sold when it became obsolete.
However, as I was in urgent need of the mobile, without which I was totally handicapped, I asked them to repair my mobile set. For this they charged me Rs. 1960/-, copy of bill attached.
Now the LCD is once again giving problem and for this I visited LG Service Centre at Ranchi and asked them to repair the same under warranty which they refused sighting the reason that LG HQ is not giving permission.
