LG Electronics — Rusted Microwave oven | |
The grill section of my MWO has rusted. While the service engineer claimed that the rusting was minor, it increased significantly in a month or so. On re-lodging the complaint, I received a call from someone from your Noida office ([protected]) on May 14, stating that the grill cavity of my MWO has indeed gone bad and will be replaced, but that I will be charged for it. I pointed out to him that my MWO is under AMC and that I will not be liable to pay any charges. To this, he initially said that he will get another person on a call bridge to talk to me, then said that he will call back in 20 mins, which of course, he never did. I messaged him and called him but there was no response.
Facing non-response from your end too, I called your area service manager Mr Nishant Batra at [protected]. Mr Batra told me that they had had a discussion and decided that my MWO rusting was normal. He further said that even if it is replaced now, it will rust again. I wanted to ask him - if we have a bath today, we will still need to have a bath again tomorrow. Does that mean that we stop bathing? Anyway, I appraised him of my experience and asked as to how something which was bad and was to have been replaced at a chargeable basis suddenly became good when I pointed out that the MWO was under AMC. Mr Batra resolutely refused to say anything. I messaged him requesting for his email ID so that I could mark him on my email communications. He refused to do that either
Just what exactly is going on?
