Message 1.) Refrigerator was declared irreparable 2 and half years back as there was some pipeline issue.
2.) Now it cannot be repaired as I had it checked by some one outside LG. If we had not got it checked by someone else then they might have done something about it.
So, if point no. 2 is to be believed then why they didn't do anything 2 and half years back when the fridge was first shown to them only and declared irreparable by them?
Now, I have got the refrigerator repaired and the concern was of the compressor only. A new compressor was fitted in and some external wiring was done and the issue that was declared irreparable by LG was completely resolved.
The fridge compressor was under warranty for 10 years. Since it was compressor fault, LG did not replace it as they would have to give it to us free of cost and declared it irreparable.
Now, as I write to you, the compressor is still under warranty. I bought a new compressor and the issue was fixed.
I am very disappointed with LG for cheating its customers this way. I am now filing this in consumer forum and posting in social media also so as to get justice and make people aware of such frauds.
