i have taken home loan for construction of my on ladhot road rohtak in aug.2009 rs.5lkh for 10 yrs.the inst.rate was 8.75 and my inst.6200/m.now the inst.rate rose to 11.9 and monthly instal.is still 6200.i want to transfer my home loan to SBI @9.95.i have put up my papers to SBI .as per instruction of RBI they need list of documents kepy with LIC and status of my home loan which LIC refused to provide me.i have written them several...

Dear Sir,

I had taken a home loan from LIC HFL (Gurgaon Branch) 1 year back. Total loan of 30,00,000 at floating Rate of 10.8%.

In the past 1 year, interest rates have come down by 1%. But my floating rate of interest has not moved.

LIC HFL says they will not reduce Rate of Interest of its existing customers. Reduced interest rates are only for new customers.

Then whats the meaning...

LIC housing finance is not following RBI guideliess for slashing intrest rates, it is almost 2 months that RBI decrease 25points on Intrest rates, still now it is not implimented by LIC housing finance. When ever there is an increase in Intrest rates, they will follow from the announcement date.
Similar situavation happend 6 months back also, that time also they didnt decreased.

Now if we call LIC...
