Life Insurance Corporation of India [LIC] — Double payment of premium | |||
I tried making payment of Premium through Direct Online payment platform for my Policy No.[protected]Premium HY due Aug.2016 Rs.3927/-. Amount of Rs. 3927/- is debited on 16.08.2016 at 4.43 p.m. in my account.Transaction No. is MEDR/Insurance-Bi/770953/. However, No receipt was available. So I again I attempted making payment. Amountof Rs.3927/- was debited on 16.08.2016 at 5.13 p.m. A receipt dated 17.08.2016(transaction No. PR[protected] was received my me on my email. This has resulted in double payment of Premium. Whether I shall get refund of the same or it shall be adjusted towards next instalment due in Feb.2017. Please advise nd do the needful.
