Dear Madam/Sir,
To,
The Senior Branch Manager,
LIC Of India, Branch 921
This is in reference to the mail sent by my son, Manu George from email ID [protected]@gmail.com regarding Gratuity payment to me.
My Husband V.J.George was working with LIC as an agent (Agency Code[protected].
Mail subject being - Payment of Gratuity under agency code: 82524921 of Late Mr. V.J.George dated 25th June 2021.
Since then my son has innumerable times forwarded the mail to different LIC authorities with no reverts at all.
Recently when I had sent a person to enquire at LIC 921 branch Fort, they said that the Email has to come from my side. I am not keeping well and alone in Kerala, due to which I couldn't send the email myself and had asked my son to do it for me. Also my health doesn't permit me to travel alone to Mumbai.
Since you haven't replied to my mail dated 25th Juneand several reminders thereafter (last mail sent on 7th June 2023), I have recently sent a person to your office to get the details of payment of gratuity of my late husband Shri V J George, agency code No: 82524921
I am the Nominee under the policy.
Your Employee at the Enquiry counter has told my person that the E mails sent by my son are not acceptable. It has to come from the registered email. The registered email is of my late husband. Do you mean to say that my late husband has to send you mail to provide the details?
The first question is whether the email sent by the son of the Nominee is valid or not?
Is it not in the culture of LIC just to reply to the email and several reminders thereof regarding an important issue
⁉️
You could have atleast replied to my son's email saying that his email communication is invalid and it has to come from the registered email id which is of the dead person.
I never created a mail id in my name as all the communications on my behalf are handled by my son.
Since your concerned Employee was adamant who said the request has to come from the registered email, I have now created my own mail id and then sent this request to you to kindly send me the entire details as under:
1)The amount of gratuity paid.
2) Date of payment.
3) Name of the bank and account number wherein the amount was credited.
It is quite unfortunate that this is the manner in which you treat the Nominee's of your Agents once they cease to exist!
If I don't receive a reply from you within 15 days from today, I will take up the issue with Higher Authorities.
Yours in Protest,
Salomy George
