Life Insurance Corporation Of India — PAN card update with the policy | |||
Today[protected] by about 11am, when I came to pay my yearly premium amount of my policy[protected] of Rs. 57588.00 I was told that my PAN is not linked to this account and therefore they wanted a copy of my PAN card. I took the copy and visited the office again to make the payment. I was denied to make the payment as they insisted that I must go to the branch and get the required job done as it is matter of their organization policy that they can service only that branch customers only. I fail to understand what customer service is all about as well as system integration. If I took the policy from a town in Kerala and get relocated to other town in India, is it possible to visit back the policy parent branch to get the job done. This is humiliating the customer by making him run between piller to post. At the first place they had the audacity to say they don't have a photocopier and make the customer to go across the road for photocopying and once done, they instruct the customer to go to the policy parent branch to get it linked. I have deposited premium amount of Rs 11390/- for my Lic Policy No[protected] through on line ( Licindia portal) but not received the premium receipt.
