Lloyds Finance Ltd — Non payment of fd is matured over 15 years

This is with reference to the fd's invested with lloyds finance ltd. At the time of investment we were assured that upto 1 lac inr maturity amount rbi would take care even if the investment company defaults. Our fd's have matured over 15 years now & till date we haven't received a single dime back of our hard hand money. Can rbi assist in recovering our investment from this mickey mouse company???
