[Resolved] Loop Mobile — GPRS 499 plan activated without my consent | |||
I ported to loop from Vodafone considering low charges and a free GPRS of 1GB every month. when my number ([protected]) got ported I noticed that the GPRS was not working and hence contacted the customer care for settings. The customer care executive told me that the GPRS was inactive and needed to be activated, i asked him to activate it. Again when I called the next day for some other issue they told me I had activated a 499 unlimited plan(2G) for GPRS. When I said I had not made any such request they said I had asked for the plan when I called them yesterday night. When I asked them to deactivate it they disconnected the call, They disconnected the call twice again. Only when i further called up the executive told me to drop a mail on mobile.[protected]@loopmobile.in. After sending the mail I got an auto mail reply saying My complaint would be served in 48 hrs. I did not receive any response from their end. When I called up yesterday the executive told me if I had a problem with the activation I could have asked to deactivate the service????? I had asked the same but their executives then were more comfortable disconnecting calls than answering or helping me out. I have been HARRASED and the complete experience with LOOP has been HORRIFYING. I dont know how are such operators being allowed to operate. I have already filed a complaint with the appellate and if I dont receive a response from him will move ahead and file a complaint against LOOP with TRAI and DOT.
