Subject: Bill-Cum-Notice for levy of Water & Sewer Charges-Reg
Please refer to Bill-Cum-Notice dated regarding Water & Sewer Charges on House Id No. 9157E25456 . Being aggrieved with the Bill-Cum-Notice, my objection to the Bill-Cum-Notice is as follows –
2. That no Water & Sewer connection as yet is made to my house
3. That no Water & Sewer Charges/Tax is leviable by Jal Kal without providing the service of Water Supply & Sewerage
4.That there is no law nor any legal provision is disclosed in Bill-Cum-Notice dated 12.08.21 for levy of such charges without providing any service of Water Supply & Sewerage
5.That like me many other residents of the locality have been slapped with the Bill-Cum-Notice through SMS alerts without any Water & Sewer connection
6.That on the contrary the broken underlying water & Sewer Pipelines is causing Public Nuisance for the last more than a year in the locality. The Seepage from the pipelines lying underneath the main road just in front of House No 631/10 has caused many big potholes on the road leading many to fall and getting injured frequently. The locality is suffering from gross negligence of Jal Kal Vibhag. The ignorance of Jal Kal Vibhag has been a cause of concern for the Public for a long time and this illegal Bill-Cum-Notice is an insult to injury for the inhabitants of the locality.
7.That I am ready to pay Water & Sewer Charges from the day both the connections are provided to my house.
It is therefore, requested that the Bill-Cum-Notice dated 12.08.21 may be withdrawn forth with and water and sewer connection may be provided to my house.
