On Aug 19 2023, I bought a gold package from MB to put my home under rent. However, 90% from starting date I got fake calls. The most awful situation was that, I got a call from a person named ‘Akshay kumar’ mentioning that he want to take possession of my property and when I realised he’s fake, I blocked him. However that didn’t end there. Because of awful MAgicBricks, I started getting all owners request to me, wherever this ‘Akshay kumar’ started requesting for rental property. Which added further frustration as I started getting messages from other owners thinking that, I’m ‘Akshay kumar’. Since I wanted to avoid any fraud on my name, I deleted my house post on 9th day as to avoid any other owner requests coming to me thinking I’m that fraudster ‘Akshaykumar’. I did raise this complaint with MB with all evidence of the messages and requested for my refund. However MB mentioned that, while they agree that, there was a cross connection of messages sent from ‘Akshay kumar’ account to mine, but they are reluctant to pay my money back. I already lost peace because of this issue as my phone number got exposed to others through Akshay kumar account and this isn’t at all acceptable as its threat to personal identity. I need MB to act properly and pay back to the frustrations I’ve gone through.
