I am a flat owner from Bangalore, on magicbricks.com (Property ID:[protected] on the 5th of March. I purchased a money-back plan with Rs. 4200, In which the condition was that I will get 100% money back if I find a tenant before magicbricks. Post the purchase, the relationship manager was not assigned and when assigned after multiple mail exchanges she asked me what is the rent I would like to mention for the property. I have mentioned that I can quote for 20K on the website and but I can go down up to 18k. (Attached is the screenshot) Also, I have asked her if I quote for 20K and get a tenant for 18K whether it will be a problem to get the refund. She told me it's not a problem if you share with us the agreement of 18K you will get the complete refund and I have mentioned that in the backend. I have waited for almost 2 months and on the 1st of May I got a tenant I called her and she has informed me it will be not a problem to get the refund if I share the agreement. I shared the agreement with her on WhatsApp on the 1st of May and followed up with her multiple times on a refund but there is no response from her. I have called magic bricks after one month and they have told me that there is no request for a refund has been raised and they have taken a request. However, they rejected my refund request by quoting that We regret to inform you that we are unable to process the refund as you have rented out your property for 18, 000/-, but according to our data, you have mentioned 20, 000/. Your rent is lower than the amount you had specified. Hence, you are not eligible for a refund. But this is clearly against what has been agreed with the relationship manager. She mentioned that if I rent out the property up to 18K I will get the refund but magicbricks not providing me the refund. Please help me to get justice.
