Respected sir/madam
Sir i request you my name is vikas pandey i am very unhappy from 1 month about my electricity bills.
My meter consumer name is karunadevi ramsalone pandey,
Meter consumer no is[protected]
I complaint the my meter because my electricity consumption is normal but my meter reading is high so i had complaint the office they said me paid the charge for meter checking. I paid the charge 13.10.2018 then they checked my meter after 15 days 25.10.2018.
Old meter reading is 15310 and new meter reading is 0166
After two days old meter reading is 15333 and new meter reading is 182 so new meter reading in unit 23 and new meter reading in unit 16 so different is - 7. So they not change my meter and no corrected my bill and today 16.11.2018 said me our meter is faulted your meter is corrected i do not check and corrected your bill and threat me i cut your line so paid the electricity bill.

    1. Change of faulty meter (No display) I have been following up with MSEB since last 4 month to change the meter because the meter doesn't show display, the officials say that they have not received meter since last few months, I believe this excuse isn't valid. I have given 4 written applications to MSCB office but they just signed and took no action. Every month they are sending bill of 3000 which need to be adjusted every month. This is become additional task which takes one whole working day and need to visit both Moshi office and Chinchawad office. This issue has made life hell I request you to kindly change the meter at the earliest as they are sending the bill for 150 units per month which is too high as per my usage. Who will compensate the Physical, economical and mental harassments occurred due to this dead meter issue. Is there any law which helps the consumer and compensate such harassments?. We all keep mum in threat of cutting the electricity of the house. Please save us from this disaster.

    2. Electricity unit meter connection cut (When fear becomes reality :() The wire-man cut the electricity supply of home on 14th of November 2018 though I have already paid the electricity bill on 3rd of November 2018. I was paying high bills in fear of electricity cut but instead of changing my dead meter they cut my electricity supply. Really this country is in running on the god grace only. The system is fully corrupt and i doubt the humans are working in government offices. I really expect the help from this forum. If low permits I would have sue them in court for this mental, physical and economical harassment.

    Now meter is changes but still charging 150 units per month but consumption is 45-50 units per month.
    Every month MSEB charging 800-900 extra charges and settling the complaint. Really feeling helpless not sure how to resolve it. Even "https://www.consumercomplaints.in" seems useless

      I am getting a very access bill that is above 1700 since 4 months. Our consumption of bill is not so high as to warrant such a high bill. Our previous bills were in between 500 to 1000. I request you to plz look in this matter seriously &send ur person to check whether somebody is doing theft of electricity from our meter or the meter is faulty or plz change our meter
      Please inform us the reason why am i getting so much excess bill and when are you going to send your person to check our meter
      I will appreciate if this matter o[censored]nfair excess billing is resolved at the earliest

        I stay in warje, pune.. Pune is supposed to be one of the smart cities of india.. But in terms of power supply the conditions are appaling.. Every now and then they cut the power supply which continues from an hour to 6hrs.. 7hrs.. And this is a very regular feature.. There is no week in a month where the power supply was uninterrupted. This is sad and disgusting.

          In our locality matori - mungsare road, near hotel zopdi, nashik we have the most dangerous issue of loose wires now a days which is going at very critical conditions ans suffers problems so we are requesting you to solve this problem as soon as possible. And i also mention that we are many times complaint this to our local wireman but ha can't solve this problem and tells us some other things

            I have received electricity bill for my flat in naigaon east, however my flat is vacant. Also people has removed our electric meter for not paying incorrect bill amount charged. Now msed wants us to go through process of new connection for which we will be asked to pay charges of approx rs. 2500. This incorrect bill is sent to me 2nd time. Moreover staff at msed office in vasai east does not have sense of responsibility & are least interested to resolve our issues.

              I am constantly followup with customer care of msedcl, they said me will do it in 2 days, but till date my meter not yet installed by msedcl.

                  From the last 8 months I am getting huge amount of bill from MSEDCL. Several complaints have been done both online as well as at the call center but no action taken yet. Have visited local office many times and also deposited Rs 600/- towards meter testing but no response. Every month getting more than Rs 11000 bill which is not correct. We are small family and our consumption occurs mainly in the night. Pls take immediate necessary action.

                    In our house many appliances are getting short due to some problem in main dp of electrical board at our building.
                    Our washing machine, water purifier, roof zoomer, ceiling led lights, bulb, mobile chargers are not working due to this short circuit.
                    One of your electrician come and say main neutral wire is getting common & due to that it happens but he don't repair that problem on same day.
                    He done this on next day.

                      Had registered complain via phone on 1st november but every time i called them after then they said it would be resolved after diwali. And now they are asking me to deposit rs. 150 only then they would check. If at all i had to pay 150 they should agve informed this earlier rather then asking me to wait for 15 days now.

                        I am mr. Dattatray balwant salunkhe s/o mr. Balawant salunkhe residing of balwant niwas, kachare galli, urun islampur, taluka-walwa, district-sangli pin-415409.
                        There is electric pole on my residing plot of 2000 sq. Feet. Electric pole in plot at dcc bank colony kbp college road islampur.
                        We have plan to construct house 01 electric pole is in the middle of my open plot. The pole is at the center of plot so we cannot construct house.
                        I request government officials to take this in considerations and take quick action to remove/shift electric pole.

                          Transformer fix on Chas - Nalwadi road ( Pan Mala). It’s attached to the road. Please provide guard to it and fix tube light on it so that vehicles and passer by can see it easily. Please take it seriously and any fatal accident. I have been paying all the electricity bills regularly till march 2018, but suddenly mseb sent me the bill for the month of july ₹14, 000 and next month they sent ₹37, 000 and next month they sent the bill amount of ₹55, 000. I have already sent a complaint via registered post to mseb achole office s/d nalasopara dated 1st week of september and also registered my complaint on toll-free no. But no action was taken by the officials.
                            My flat has been vacant from 31st july 2018 and we are paying every month bill in excess because of a faulty meter. Since the area of my flat is not too big and does not possess any refrigerator or an air-conditioner or any television. It only has 2 bulbs, 2 tube lights, and 2 fans. From 1 year i have been paying my precious earned money to mahavitran because of the faulty meter. I have requested many times for a change of meter but no action was taken.
                            Sir, i have been very harshly treated by your mseb staff since one year please take my compliant name and take a suitable action and provide me justice for the over-billing as it gets difficult for me to commute as i live in lonavala and a senior citizen and a patient of high bp
                            The only pending bill i have is from march 2018 to july 2018, hence i request you to average the bill from march 2018 to july 2018. You can also visit my past bills paid and check that no amount has exceeded ₹700 so kindly request you to take a suitable action

                                There has been a constant rise in electricity disconnections despite no rains and no lightening. Several complaints are lodged but the tat for resolution is 8 hours, #... Contacted customer care, no supervisor on floor, the representative has no knowledge to take escalation calls, gave a landline number but that is not getting connected. Poor service and you guys trace people when the bill is not paid on time. Such hippocrates do not feel the urge to improve their services. Factories at midc are run up with all the lights however, residential areas suffer even if there is small lightening...

                                  The above meter is faulty and not showing the correct reading for last 6 months. Please arrange to replace the same. We are not using the electricity for last 4 months as our house is closed but we are getting electricity bill of rs 500 + based on previous average consumption.
                                  You are requested to change the faulty meter as soon as possible and revert.in case of any query you can call on mobile no. [protected].

                                  Also please note that our electricity consumption will be bare minimum as the house is not occupied now.

                                    Sir, i am shocked to find that electricity meter reading rrecorded on 19.10.18 as 753 units is totally wrong, whereby i am wrongly billed rs.8840/- & this is unacceptable!!. For your kind information for the last several months till 25.09.18 my monthly reading was always below 300 units. On 19.10.18 due to wrong recording from a “unclear meter photograph” the meter reading staff has made a grave mistake of wrongly recording the units as 753 which is factually wrong & incorrect hence i am charged rs.8840/-which totally unacceptable hence this request to revise your bill dated 24.10.18 with the correct billing!!

                                    If msedb meter readers do not record actual/correct meterreading, it will result in wrong billing as happened in this case, which must be strictly avoided!!
