My tenant has complaint earlier about the meter related issue at the sub-divisional office, but there has not been any remedy to the continued problem that i am facing. The normal units used by my tenant are in the range of 150 to 250 per month, but suddenly the meter reading spikes and we are faced with very high bill. For example:
Dec 2016 - 168
Jan 2017 - 206

Suddenly the may 2017 bill is almost 10 times the normal consumption. This indicates the meter is faulty as these is no change in usage pattern by the residents. Same thing happened in may 2018 and oct 2016. This needs to be resolved on priority.

    We received an electricity bill where the meter reading was noted incorrectly and is much above the current reading showing in the meter.
    I had registered complaint from mahadiscom app, but one week passed and no action is being taken.

    Even after making the complete payment in the month of september 2018 which ia almost 45days still the meter has not yet fixed due to which we are facing a huge issue

      Respected sir,

      We, arnav castings & engineers (Ace) are the licensee & actual users of the said meter. We hereby state that earlier to mar’18 our factory was up & running & that we had paid about rs.6, 06, 000/= in mar’18 so as to take care of all our msedcl pending dues till then.

      However, we realized that we are making heavy losses & hence we returned the customers heavy machinery (9 nos.) back to them in the month of mar’18 & thereafter there was virtually negligible work with us. Sometimes only 1 or 2 of the remaining 3 small machines were operating & that too for a single shift instead of the 24 x 7 earlier. We were happy that by returning back the heavy machines (9 nos.) we would be saving on a lot of overheads especially labor & power.

      In april’18 we received no msedcl bill. Upon enquiring at the msedcl ganesh nagar office, talawade, pune, we were told that there is excess payment in the account & that until it is adjusted the bill will not be sent. However, we insisted for a hard copy & a print out of the same was given to us (Bill for mar’18, bill date 09.04.2018 pic attached along with) showing a negative balance of rs.9870/=. Satisfied with the reply & having a hard copy we left the msedcl office. They also informed us that we can check online too. Thereafter, every month we have been checking online & it was showing a negative balance & as there was virtually negligible work we were certain that the excess payment was getting adjusted.

      However, we received a shock when suddenly in oct’18 we receive a bill of rs.1557310/= for 181738 units used. The past history of 6 months showing “ 0 “ billing & then suddenly this huge amount with such heavy power usage put us in a critical condition.. As due to this the landlord also put a lock on our factory asking us to settle this matter first.

      Hence, we state that this bill for the month of sep’18, bill date 09.10.2018 (Pic attached along with) for rs.1557310/= is not correct & just based on some imaginary assumption of the msedcl & thereby concocted. Even when we were operating at full swing such heavy bills never came. The reading of 181738 units is also faulty & given our absolutely poor or negligent work condition not possible.

      Thereby, we request you to settle this matter at the earliest as our work which was near to negligible has been totally stopped due to the land lord’s action due to this exorbitant msedcl bill causing us huge losses as well as innumerable problems & difficulties. We hope you will rectify the bill (As it should be less than rs.50000/= only) at the very earliest & oblige.

        My flat is in nallasopara east and from past 3 months my electricity bill amount is coming higher then usual bill amount kindly please solve this problem as we middle class people are facing a lot of issues because of high bills
        At first my bill use to come between 700 to 800 only but now its gone twice higher then it's normal bill amount and has reached 1820 this time please solve this issue and i have also attached picture of the electricity bill kindly have a look at it and take action as soon as possible

        As per the reading as on 17.10.2018 is 8598 only.
        Request you to pls check the reading again and issue the bill accordingly.

          Every day 4 to 5 hrs electric not available in rayakar mala, dhyari, pune. This problem we are facing from last 6 month. I don't know what mseb is doing, they are not interested to fix the issue. I have raised lot coplain but no proper response.

          What type of 'acche din'.

            In reference to the 4 complaints and regarding disconnection of electricity

            That inspite of repeated complaints you have not resolved my complaints thereafter i met your officer mr. F. D. Kar, mr. Wagh and requested again and again to resolve my complaint but no head has been given by them. That today at 12 noon they have illegally disconnected my electricity connection without informing me. That i am working as professional, and i am suffering heavy losses due to such illegal act. That even prior to disconnection of electricity no intimation has given to me. When i called the officer, he said that 72, 000/- is outstanding which is illegal and they are not resolving the issues. Therefore kindly resolve the issue immediately. I am ready to deposit each and every fine but because of your illegal action you cannot disconnect. So take the necessary action immediately.

              We are running a manufacturing company, and since the past 2/3 months we are noticing that the billing has gone too high, we have already written to the the concerned authority .Regarding this and we have also complained regarding the non functioning of the electronic meter. We do not understand from where you are getting our reading .Pl. Note that since we do not have orders in hand on most of the days their no work and most of the workers are on lay off or we are closed. We would request you to look into this matter and resolve the same immediately, as we are in position to pay these high bills. We have already paid the current bill we hope you will look into this matter and make the necessary adjustment and provide us the credit in our future bills.

              Repaired 1phase of my neighbour and they did the wrong wiring of my house giving the neutral phase connection, I had made an complaint regarding this on Saturday but they didn't turn up it's being two times I have visited their office but they haven't fixed the issue
              Light is never provided daily. There is a huge power cut. Customers are taken lightly. No complaint is registered. Rude behaviour of the service providers. Whole area goes in darkness for 24 and sometimes to 48 hours continuosly. No valid reason provided for any power cut. No bills provided to the customers.
              The WORST service by Baner office.

                Sir,

                In the past 3 months there has been a significant increase in the billing amount generated towards my consumer id mentioned below.

                There has been an increase of approx. 300% in the billed amount in last 3 months.in spite of there being no new electrical appliance being introduced at my house.

                Request you to provide necessary instructions to your department to verify this.
                I have already done an email escalation about this but have not received any response yet.

                  I am swapnil sunilbha karulkar. My consumer number is[protected]. The meter reading is taken wrongly, instead of 404 units, they count as 804 units in the month of may 2018. Still, i paid the full amount and then complain online. Complaint number is[protected].
                  I visited the center at mulshi. Followed all the procedures. Still the issues is not resolved. I have all the mail threads with the mseb officer.
                  Finally i got a sms from mseb, to pay the total amount else will cut the electricity line. No idea why they are not resolving the issue.
                  I called the customer care, as per them the line will not be cut as the issue is from there end. Its being 3 months now everytime i got the same response from them but no one is ready to resolve the issue.
                  Every month they charged me 153 units as an average, with the note as an error in meter reading, i can't submit the meter reading form the app as its not allowed to do so. I have already mailed them and shared the meter image.

                      I am Vinod More and We have applied for new electricity connection for our house. Its been 2 months now and still electricity board is unable to avail the metering box and give us new connection. They are asking us to buy one such unit while we have paid them already Rs. 1589 amount.

                      I request you to look into the matter to give us new electricity connection. I have attached deposite payment receipt dated 2 August 2018 and quotation given by electricity board for new connection.

                        Im staying in diva east. This MSEDCL company is not working properly. We dont have electricity at home. Everyday they do power cut for 12 to 14 hrs. and sending me big amount bills. I paid 3 bills without asking questions. before 3 months i called to customer care and ask them if they are do the power cut daily 12 to 14 hrs then why sending me big bills. They said your meter is become faulty and need to change for proper reading. I dont have washing machin friedge ac cooler nothing at home. only fan light and chsrger still im getting big bills. Customer care said dont pay bills ignore them and submit written complaimt to çhange faulty meter to diva shil division. As per customer care i have submitted written complaint and they written some number on my bill and gave me back and said they will do it. But now been 2 months they havent came to change meter. they are still cutting power for 12 to 14 hrs daily and sending me bills every months. Now my outstanding bill is high aroung 1500 rs. I will not pay this becoz they said they will chsnge meter and then i will get proper bill. They have block my number in there system so i csnt call them for complaint. Please do something...

                            Dear someone who help us in this matter,

                            Subject : no power supply at night in city navi mumbai-airoli, sector 9, plot f1
                            We people here suffering genuine problem daily with power supply at our home from last 03/04 weeks. Daily one of the line getting problemed & the all residentials of airoli - sector 9 plot f-1 throw out in dark. Due to this we were not able to sleep because of no power supply in night time. The specific time of this problem started between 10.00pm to 4.00am daily without any notice or power saving order by departments.

                            The persons on duty are not well aware of customer relation. The phone lines for customer complaint were kept busy purposely. It was also found that this wiremen put telephone receiver at side to sleep them comfortable without disturb.

                            Anybody help us to solve this problem, please do the needful as early as possible.
                            Lots of well wishes & blessing are waiting for you.

                            Please try for friends like us, for old persons like your mother & father, for new born babies & their mothers.

                                My name is haridas krishnan and my msedcl consumer no is[protected]. Please note that till july 2018 inspite o[censored]sing ac and other electronic appliances my average monthly bill amount was in the range of rs.1500/=.

                                Since august 2018, i have removed the ac & other electronic appliances and i am only using fan & fridge. During most part of the day, no one is at home. Inspite of this the electricity bills dated 16 aug 2018 is reflecting consumption of 194 units (Rs 1410) and bill dated 21 sept 2018 is showing 211 units (Rs 1620), which is very much on higher side for operating only fan and fridge.

                                Kindly look into the matter on priority and rectify the problem.

                                  I have got electric energy bill for the last month.. I paid for launching complaint. It is observed that there is irregular meter reading. Most of bills sent by you on average consumption without meter reading. And also very rear bills received. Due to those facts we don’t know what is happening. Most of my bills are not as per meter. Hence such units are not deducted for billing purpose. It is requested, please adjust all payment which already paid. For consume energy shall be paid only once. You have taken twice due to which i got a lot of finial burden. Please adjust and give strick instruction to your officers due to which i may not suffer in future. Thanking you.

                                    MSEB बोर्डाने आमच्या शेतीपंपाचे बील चालू रीडींग पेक्षा जास्त आकारले आहे.आमचे शेतीपंपाचे कनेक्शन २०१३ चे आहे आम्हाला पहीले वीज बील जवळ जवळ ८० लक्ष आकारले होते. तक्ार करून सूद्धा त्यावर काहीच दुरुस्ती केली नाही. महावितरणाच्या आधिकार्याच्या हलग्रजीपणामुळे हे सारे झाले.आहे.
                                    यामुळे आमचे कनेक्शन तोडण्याची ताकीद दिली जाते. याचा परिणाम माझ्या वडीलांच्या तबेतीवर झाला आसुन ते आता आजारी आहे. पुढे काहि झाल्यास कंपनी जबाबदार राहील.

                                      I am vijay gorakh wani i received message in my mobile for payment of energy bill of consumer no.[protected].
                                      The message has been wrongly send to my mobile number [protected] as i am not a consumer of that consumer number of msedl. My mobile no has wrongly feeding msedl database or furnished wrongly by the a over customers. Please correct your database and do not sent any such wrong persons energy bill on my mobile number in future.
