Hello Team,
I am Sanjeevkumar Deshpande, consumer no. - [protected] / 4405 (Meter no.[protected]. I am receiving bills with wrong meter reading. The actual meter reading is 2. I do not stay in my flat and also filled up the form for not using the flat. I have escalated twice in Kharvai at Badlapur (East) office. They confirmed that the reading should be 2 and it is typing mistake . Attaching all the documents signed by your staff. Attaching an excel file that shows the details about it. The meter reading should be '2' and bill amount should be 'Rs. 67' after reduction of extra payments done by me. Kindly take the necessary actions so that the mistakes will not repeat henceforth. Hope this will be done on priority basis as errors are in 5 months bill and your staff promised twice that it will not repeated henceforth.

    Dear sir,

    This month our bill has come of 2620 rs which is quite high than our normal monthly bill of 400 to 600 rs monthly. Our monthly unit consumption from past 4 yrs is around 100 to 120 units but this month it has come as 320 unit which is not possible and correct. There could be a issue with meter which is needs to be check and replace if needed. Request you to look in the problem asap and provide a solution.

    P. S similar issue with our neighbour as well in same buliding which indicates definately some problem with meters

      Sir,

      I am a jawan of Indian Army and residing in pune (S No 64, Kawade Mala, near Sopan Baug) on rented residence consumer No[protected]Billing Unit 4610 St Marry sub Dn.

      In the month of May 2018, Actual meter reading on ground as on 05 June 2018 was 9548, howerver MSEDCL sent bill with current reading as on 28 May 2018 was 9607 and to pay Rs 1750. When I approached the pool gate office they ameded the amount to Rs 1190 and I paid it.

      In the month of Jun 2018 they sent the bill with Rs 750/- without deducting the amount of May 2018 adjusted. When I approached office they amended the amount to 390/- and I paid it.

      In the month of Jul 2018 they sent bill with Rs 880/- with out deducting the amount of June 2018 adjusted. Also the meter reading is shown as previous and current reading as 9632 and unit as 129 with meter status as locked. whereas the meter is placed outside house and clearly visible.

      Sir, Kindly issued immediate instructions to refund the amount excess collected by rectifying observations.

        Dear sir
        I am shocked to receive the electricity bill from you for the - flat no a-11: 108 green heights: beed by pass: satara, aurangabad as it is totally unauthorized and same is deserves to be withdrawal because since the date of purchase of the said flat and till today nobody resides there. So how we received the said electricity bill, which totally fraud?
        That their is no such consumption of electricity till now. As no one resides their so it is impossible to come electricity bill of the said flat.
        Hence, withdraw your electricity bill as soon as possible
        Revert this compliant as soon as possible.
        Hope the issue will be addressed and resolved

          We understand some people take wasooli seriously. But while doing that we also need to follow the rules.

          My bill payment was delayed for 2 months and the representative came at my house to disconnect electricity. I as understand, 15 days of notice should be given to consumer. This was really bad treatment for me and my family.

          They keep threatening for disconnection. I paid later on. But this is not the way to treat consumer and making our own rules.

            Hi sir,

            This is with regards to the above subject. I have received copy of light bill for july 18 as 490 rs. However, the bill previous reading and current reading reflecting as 3124 i. E. Last months only. So kindly requesting to please look into this issue. And also if faulty meter is there so kindly requesting you to please look into this matter to change the meter.

              My energy bill for the month of june 2018 is shown as inr 14, 000 plus with a consumption of 1000 plus units of electricity this

              My consumption over the last year has rarely exceeded 300 units so the consumption is 3 times the normal which is impossible. I have logged complaints[protected] but no action has been taken please fix this organization which imposes arbitrary charges on consumers.

                Sir, i applied for new meter connection and give all document i pay the quotation ammount of rs. 1112/- dated 01 august 2018 & get the consumer no.[protected] which can applied on 22 may 2018 application no. Is 14336637. So whenever i go to your office they say tha t meter are not available i need the connection very urgently & most important so i request you to what is the problem of shortage & when i got the meter

                  Dear Sir,

                  My consumer no. is[protected], 4578 CHAWANI S/DN., i got bill of 3690 rs for the March-2018 Month for total 388 unit.
                  Before this i was paying regulary bill which was coming approximately for 27 units sicnce last 1 year and meter status was showing faulty on bill, for this i gave complaint twice in last year but suddenly the meter status corrected in march-2018 to Normal from Faulty and i was charged for the units reading difference from last year to march 2018.
                  I was paying my bill regularly still i was given bill for 3690 rs i paid the same and gave application to correct and adjust the amount in subsequent month bill for the amount which is extra charged to me.
                  But i am not gettinng any solution and corrective action from the electricity board department people, every time they give different answers to me and my father, 2 times inspection of the meter is also done for the same but still there is no correction in the bill.
                  I am so frustrated of their irresponsible behaviour, and want to know the legal way to deal with them, pls. show me path forward for the same.
                  I am attaching the sample bills of the faulty meter status and normal with excess bill.
                  I gave complaint on their website https://wss.mahadiscom.in also but there is no action.
                  This is the most sad reality of india that in year 2018 also we are strugling for such silly things and have to visit goverment offices where people full of negative attitude are sitting.
                  Pls. do the needful

                    Till now they are not providing the meter of electricity. and I was met with him and also told him to I complaint to MSEDCL head Office they told me to nothing is happen it just time pass they also a lazy and many cases are pending. regularly many mail and complaint are come

                      I would like to complaint regarding my electricity bill i have received my electric bill for rs. 2630/- for the month of june-2018 the bills appears to be inflated as i know that our consumption electricity is not so high as to warrant such a high bill, it seems to be extremely high for my level o[censored]sage. Me and my wife only two persons are there, since lst two years i have never ever exceeded maximun usage charges of rs 1000/- per month. I am writing this letter to you since i have lodged complaints many times on toll free number and i have approached dhankawdi sub station (4637) sub division.in spite of many complaints there is no reply from their side no one is taking any action on the same please help me as i am in big trouble i cannot pay such huge amount i appreciate if this matter of excess billing is resolved at the earliest.                               I had paid bill on 25 july 2018. "otp is 098950 for txn of inr 1650.00 at msedcl on card ending 0451. Valid till 22:46:22. Do not share otp for security reasons."

                              However, today i got sms regarding amout has deducted without otp "thank you for using debit card ending 0451 for rs.1670.00 in mumbai at dcsimsebelec on[protected]:08:17:40 avl bal: rs.12875.49".

                              Refund amount on priority basis.
                              Revert this compliant as soon as possible.

                                We have not received above detailed bill for the month of june 2018, however, this fact came to our notice from the bill for the month of july 2018 the amount was recovered through ecs. Our monthly consumption of power ranged between from 100 units to less than 200units as per last 2years records. However bill for the month june ‘18 was for 674 units that to without meter reading support. This is totally injustice with us. It is therefore, need to be rectified by the company. (Rr vibhute)

                                  In the recent past i have registered 3 complaints through mahavitaran android app regarding wrong billing. Not one was resolved while status of 2 complaints are showing as closed.
                                  Last month also meter reading was not correct which i had report through mahavitarans app. I also tried to submit the correct meter reading through mahavitarans app., but it is not functioning.
                                  Due to this my power consumption for this month is going higher side.
                                  Hope the issue will be addressed and resolved.

                                    Since last 6 months we are facing continuously light issues and even voltage issues. Everyday we are launching complaints to mseb tollfree customer care number i, e [protected]
                                    Every time there executives are saying your problem will get resolve soon but till date i am facing same issues again and again.
                                    I am facing different issues are as follows:

                                    1) unnecessary powers cut everyday

                                    2) voltage issues motors are not working

                                    3) no water bcoz motor will not run without electricity

                                    4) every month bill is a huge amount some month i get bill of 5000 or sometimes 8000 as well

                                    5) no response from our sub division in mulshi

                                    6) no response from there senior engineer mr. Harsh kulkarni

                                    7) using of bad words which we should not use from mr. Harsh kulkarni (Senior assistant engineer)

                                    8) no response from our area light man me. Parkhe

                                    9) no action taken after giving 3 times written complaints to our sub division from me. Harsh kulkarni

                                    10) least bothered to solve the customer problems

                                    Entire area is facing these issues everyday. After giving continuous complaints from everyone they are least bothered to resolve the problems we have finally launched a case in consumer court against maeb and also mr. Harsh kulkarni and mr. Parkhe (Lightman).

                                    Consumer case number - 825670

                                    And also we have file this case to central government and state government board of electricity department.

                                    Very soon a legal action will be taken against mseb.

                                        Sub ; complaint against receiving high electricity bill msedcl consumer no[protected]

                                        Dear sir,
                                        This is to register a complain regarding very high bill received by me for our house at highland park khardi since past 11 months.
                                        Please note as a good law-abiding consumer i have been paying my electricity bills in advance however the bills received from msedel have been escalating every month since last one year which is my grave concern.
                                        I would like to bring on record that, our house is locked since last one year. We have visited our place only twice during this period for 4 hours each, just to clean our place. Based on this we should have received only minimum unit billing, but the electricity bills have been very high. Refer annexure.
                                        You can check our average bill over the last 12 years it has been in the range of rupees 40 to 70/- per month and we have been paying it in advance lumpsum for the whole year which can be verified from your records and should also indicates our consumption pattern.
                                        This sudden rise in our electricity bills is unreasonable, not justified, arbitrary and is not acceptable.
                                        I have paid our current month bill as a good consumer under protest and lodging this complain.
                                        I am requesting you to look into my complain and send us the reconciled and rectified bill immediately as there is something grossly wrong failing this i would have to take other remedial measures as deem fit.
