My consumer no. is[protected], billing unit 4733. my bill dated 30.07.16 shows unit consumed as 706 units and bill amount of rs. 9290/-. since several years, my average unit consumption is 350 units and my average bill amount is rs. 3000/- p. m. my monthly bill is more than double this month, which i do not agree. i don't know what you msedcl has done? but i request you to rectify my bill day to day higher, I already paid last month bill 3500/_ but still not showing on next bill, and bill come higher amount 9290/_please stop this nonsense of higher ELECTRICITY bill, Awaiting for reply from your end

Dear Sir, Our Consumer o.[protected] & 418 Gala No. c-34 & 35 Electronic Sadan: Since Morning we noticed above subject issue, the same was informed to mseb personals verbally, But till no one is bothered to look into the issue. When we informed at mseb sub-station their replay" WE WILL SEND A PERSON", No one was attending the complaint.

    There is no light in my home from last 4 days and continue... We complain daily about the issue in mseb local department ... But no result... I don't No why we have to register complain daily ... How they target daily complains and don't no if they just throw the old complain... When ever we call on complain number they say everyone is busy in fixing another issue some where in the areas and will come in next 1-2 hour... Same answer is repeating from last 4 days and still no one visited our home to fix the issue...
    Is there any top authority where I can reach out...
    Please help us...

      We got an exorbitantly high bill of rs 10890 in the month of july.Firstly we had paid all our bills timely and secondly we were in the United States in the month of July, so we didn't have any electrical appliances on that month.we just had our router on but that is on all the time so it didn't make our bill so high before.could you please clarify our bill with us

        Since july 2016, there are frequent and prolonged power outages which run anywhere from 4 hours to 12 hours in sector 29c, of rabale, gothivali.

        There were at least 4-5 occurrences of this kind in july 2016 and yesterday, power went out at 8:00 pm in the night and isn't still restored.

        I made a complaint on toll free numbers given on 15th july and i got a call from mseb technician on 22nd july asking if power is fine which is ridiculous

        It's so ironical that this city was going to be nominated among smart cities.

        Shame on mseb!

            Very High bill for the month of June 2016 (billing period 09th May to 09th June)
            (Consumer no[protected], Meter number [protected]).
            We are being charged for 1640 units (Rs 22760) in month of June 2016. Instead of anlysing technical issue with meter & correcting bill, we are being forced to pay high bill by average of 1640 units over period. Past six months meter readings and meter photo is exactly matching and unit consumption is never such high for past 10 years. Considering the fact that reading is erroronous and sometimes meter can jump, please help with correction of june-16 bill and analysis of technical problem with meter. We are unable to pay such high bill and amounts are only getting added to bills.

                Bills are prepared without taking meter readings.In the current bill it is not known when the "previous reading" "70" was taken and
                What happened to the amounts paid, till "current reading".
                It can also be seen that the current bill exceeds the total bill for the last 12 months.
                The meter readings do not contain the photograph of the meter reading.

                    Sub: Maintenance in the surrounding area of Transformer.

                    We are staying in Vasant Nagri, Sector 2, Vasai (East) consists of 14 buildings and having one Transformer, for the past 17 years. Every day we face electricity problem due to fault in transformer which supply to these buildings / societies without any intimation. The functioning is same as earlier or sometime worse. It is understood from some of our members of that your staffs connected to maintenance department were not maintaining the surroundings of transformer and insisting that the power cut is due to transformer fault and also due to the grass, plants grow frequently and afraid to go inside the area any time. Why this is happening? It is because the maintenance department is not properly doing the work. It is the duty of staff connected to maintenance department and the efficiency is not kept in their work from time to time. The fenced area around transformer is belonging to MSEDCL and hence this is purely a dangerous place having high voltage.

                    Every year before monsoon and also on Fridays and any other day convenient to your staff do their work properly in the past and this year onwards I hear from some of the members that we have to pay Rs. 2000.00 each from 14 societies i.e. Rs.28000.00 for this work. I do not know the conspiracy behind this. Since there is something wrong in this and I bring this to your notice for an immediate action and eradicate in the grass root level and request your staff to clear the place to enable them to work properly in that place without and fear. I have personally seen some of the area where transformer installed are not cleaned properly under these circumstances the staffs are not working on regular basis.

                    As I understand in most of the places where transformer is kept the place cannot be concreted and the cables are covered with soil for easy replacement as and when required. Existing place again unloading huge quantity of soil or rabbit will not solve any problem and even on that grass will grow. To avoid all these things request your maintenance department should do their work frequently on time bound basis. I am bringing this to your kind understanding and for some result.

                    With the above reality in mind I request your earliest action in this regard will be highly appreciated.

                      With ref to our complaint no: 4428299 dt 22/7/2016 which remains still un attended. Beside our meter units running very fast. It also runs when main switch is off. This is a serious issue which needs to be looked upon.
                      From last reading ie 6/7/2016 units 2947, today ie 1/8/2016 at 12.30 noon the units are 3943. Ie 996 units.
                      A letter along with last paid bill is submitted on 25/7/2016 at mahavitaran office midc dombivli
                      On 27/7/2016 met razia madam who assured to look into the matter. But still no one has approached.
                      Please rectify the issue before next bill is generated to avoid our mental tension.

                        Dear sir

                        I am quite shocked to receive the electricity bill amounting rs. 21280/- against electricity consumption, for the last month at my residence.

                        It is just not possible for me to have used so much of electricity in one month, more so because it is a resendial property with basic amenities.

                        There seems a serious issue with readings which is shown as 2168. there is huge vaiance in readings for last few months.
                        Following are the details for past 4 months:

                        Apr 2016 : 2790 reading 150
                        May 2016 : 5040 reading 505
                        Jun 2016 : 100 reading 67
                        Jul 2016 : 21280 reading 2168

                        We tried to check with the people in electric board office, however they do not want to talk on this and are forcing to pay this bill which is impossible for us.
                        Please rectify this mistake so that i can pay the actual amount. thanking you in anticipation,

                              My billing unit is 4541- kolsheth urban, from 2- 3 moth my electricity bill is too high my current month unit is 326 and it costing me rs 2780. previously it doesn't cost me some much. its my request to check the meter or any error in billing system. we dont use any high consumer item like a/c. still the monthly bill is coming high. its my request to attend my complain.

                                In our above subject area, weekly average 4 days power cut is experienced. People here are getting life difficult due to this power cut. 1) Due to power cut especially between 6.00 PM to 10.00 PM, students are unable to study which is drawback to their progress in education. 2) People get difficult to carry on functions like making food, taking care of children/ elderly persons & household animals. Being a village, other resources of light are not sufficient. So we request MSEDCL to look into the matter on priority to improve the electricity supply in that area and eliminate the power cuts to live better life by villagers.
                                Secondly the response from local wire man is not satisfactory. Lot of time is taken to resolve the repair and maintenance issues there. Request MSEDCL to look into the matter.

                                  1. Still old transformers not replaced in ovala majiwada area ghodbunder road thane.
                                  2. Underground wires laid before majiwada and after ovala but not in ovala - majiwada area.
                                  3. Bills are very high to be paid in short span before salary.
                                  4. Irregular power cuts.
                                  5. Not made use of solar energy compulsory and distributed like aadhar card.
                                  6. Promised to give another option of eighter tata power or japanese power and promised to merge it in palghar area as per demand of tower coloney association but rejecting us and considering only local slum areas still in thane area

                                  you are intimating us in advance date of payment but never intimate the starting of load shedding or snarls or power cut. why so?
                                  all new constructions have solar energy due to your compulsion like aadhar card. why is not same for old buildings and local slums. solar energy is economical and ecologically suitable for customers as well as mseb company
                                  Atleast consider the complaint of replacing old tranformers first. i do not think it is impossible for you to replace transformer of british times in ovala maziwada are ghodbunder road, thane.
                                  i think even out of local slum area some people would like merger of thane into palghar without disturbing their original culture like vasai fisherfolks.

                                    This is really stupidity shown by "maharashtra state electricity distribution co. Ltd".
                                    From last 1 year i am facing problem with irregular billing amount but this month it is really height.
                                    Last month i got unit consumed as 63 and amount payable was 250/- but this month it was big surprise, unit 461 and amount payable is 4100/-.

                                    In my house we are only 3 peoples having very basic need of electricity such as fans, tubelights, fridge and water heater. This thing i was previously using one year back and my avg bill use to be around 100 units.

                                    What should i do in such case. I am really fedup with service and paying this irregular billing amount.

                                    Please guide me.

                                      Regarding complaint no: 4428299 dt 22/7/2016.
                                      Regarding un reasonable billing. Our meter is running at a very very fast speed. On an average 100 units are consumed daily is been shown. On 22/7/2016 the units were 3468 at 11.30 am.. On 24/7/2016 it has crossed 3642 till 8.00 pm.
                                      Our use is strictly domestic purpose.
                                      We have always paid the bills in time.
                                      We feel the problem started from the time the meter is changed.
                                      Consider as urgent & solve it at earliest before next bill is issued.
