Dear sir/madam,
By mistake mseb person has cut my power supply today morning.
This month outstanding bill is rs. 50 and due date is 26/3/2016.
I am always paying bill before due date online.
Today also i have paid rs. 500/- advance.
Mseb person was supposed to cut power supply of one neighbor but due to similarity in name i suppose this mistake has happened.
Please restore my supply today at the earliest.
I have already lodged complaint with customer care today.
Please do the needful.

        and so amt.balance is shown as rs. 3111 .Pl. correct and tell what to do

          it is very unfortunate that MSEB Representative come to residential flat. forcibly disconnected meter connection by giving reason "due date was passed" disconnection was done dt 12.03.16

                  Sir, We at State Bank of India Sonpeth Branch have rented the premises of Shri Shriram Wankar for our branch in 2009. The electricity bill for our branch is in the name of Shriram Wankar consumer no[protected]. MSECDL has been sending us electricity bill for our branch from feb 15 to apr 2015 and from aug 15 to Nov 2015 without noting actual meter reading. we have lodged several complaints with MSEDCL at sonpeth for rectification of the same. It was attended to in Aug 2015 where we reached a settlement with Exec Eng Shri Gupta for bills till July 2015 by paying Rs90300/- on 31/8/15 DD no 663142. MSEDCL again issued a revised bill of Rs 90297/- in Aug 15. We filed written complaint and also lodged online complaint for the same. Now we have received bill of Rs 194190/- from Aug 15 to Jan 2016 for total units 15307 (Aug reading 107991 till Jan 2016 reading 123598). Inspite o[censored]s complaining about deficiency in service, MSEDCL sent us a notice to settle dues through lok adalat at Sonpeth on 13/2/2016 where they offered to reduce Rs 18720/- from outstanding and pay Rs 175370/- as final settlement. The Bill of Rs 194190 from Aug 2015 till Jan 2016 is arrived at an average of approx 2500 units consumption per month whereas our average unit consumption as evidenced from actual bills of Nov 2015 to Jan 2016 and also from previous bills is no more than 1200 units per month. We have again requested them vide our letter dated 2/3/16 to settle the bills accordingly. But MSEDCL has issued us a notice of disconnecting power supply in case we fail to pay all the outstanding within 8 days from 02/03/16. Application for change of consumer name to SBI Sonpeth along with all necessary fees were submitted to MSEDCL on 04/09/09 which is still pending . We have time and again approached the MSEDCL officials for resolution of all issues but to no avail. We request your kind self to please help us to arrive amicable solution and ask MSEDCL not to disconnect power till issue is settled.

                    Charge for faulty meter replacement

                    MSEDCL, at their own will, changed about 16 meters in our building on 4/1/2016, including my meter, though my old meter worked without any problem for years. MCB in my house and on the mains have NEVER tripped in the last several years and particularly from 4/1/16 till 23/2/16 during the period the new defective meter was connected.

                    the meter was disconnected without a prior notice although the date for payment still had not passed. the same happened twice a couple of months ago and fine of Rs.200/- was incurred. If meters are getting disconnected beforehand itself, then why to waste paper and ink by printing those at the bottom? Such ridiculously insane behaviour is not tolerable.

                      All the meter's in my area has been replaced in Jan'16 including mine.

                      Every month i was getting average bill of around 100-120 units as per my previous 11 months bill record since Feb'15.

                      Please refer the below details for your ready reference;

                      I have already logged online complaint (complaint number[protected] dated on 17th Feb'16 regarding the same and she asked me to go and speak at Vasai division office. Then i visited at Vasai Ambadi Rad office, one lady asked me to go Vasai Datatray shopping centre office, then one gentlman asked me to go at Vasai Manickpur office.

                      After playing office office, i met with Mr Vinayak Patil at Vasai Manickpur office. After a very lengthy dicussion with him, he asked me to go again at Vasai Datatray office and write a complaint there.

                      I met with Mrs Joshi madam @ GAD Dept. Vasai west on 18th Feb'16 and given her written complaint and she asked to come back on 23rd Feb'16. On 23rd Feb'16 she asked i have not taken any action on your complaint yet. Hence, she advised to come again on 25th Feb'16. On 26th Feb'16, she told me that you have to pay full bill and your meter reading is correct.

                      I am unsatisfied with Joshi madam's statement as I asked her to produce the snapshot of my old meter. As per your records, the last reading of my old meter was 1724 which is written in your register. But i am 100% sure that the last reading of my old meter was incorrect. Hence, i request you to kindly findout my old meter and please provide me the picture of old meter number 03457072.

                      Still i have not get any update from mseb. I have also submit the same complaint on few email id's of mseb which is mentioned on their website but not yet get any revert and many mails get bounced, that means the mseb dept. is not even bother to update the correct email id's of their employees.

                      Kindly look into the matter otherwise i have to knock few more doors including media.

                        I wanted to inform you that there is no electricity in our area since morning 5am. I have been calling MSEB Bhagwan Nagar, but they are not willing to receive the call. I want solution over it, atleast the authority should know about this problem. I am from Shri Hari Nagar No.1, Near Omkar Colony, Manewada Ring Rd, Nagpur-440027.

                        Need solution over it ASAP. And I believe authority's attitude of negligence is not at all accepted. Thanks.

                            With Subject above mention that I had received much priced bill for January month although the meter was faulty in the month of September i was informed about faulty meter after that normally i was getting average bill of 41 units remark as "locked" while electric meter was faulty but January month i getting bill of 1216 units amount of rs. 8470.
                            How can possible without repairing or without changing the meter it can be show right units count the meter. After that 20/2/2016 change new meter. Bill is concerned previous faulty meter. I gave the complaint about matter 5/2/2016 after that they taked the action on dated 20/2/2016 that they checked all electricity uses and items they take new meter readings 42 units are there on the meter display show. And chek the previous meter it is proved as faulty meter. Executive engineer check meter and take video of faulty meter. All process (verification) complete but my problem not solved and not less the unfair amount of bill. They puzzles and admonished, said that you will pay all amount of bills in the month of January and if you will not paid bill your connection of electricity will be disconnected. I request that it huge amount bill despite for as a faulty meter.

                              Incorrect meter reading and incorrect bill of january 2016, consumer[protected], smt luxmibai halwadkar.

                              Dear Sir

                              My name is Venkatesh Halwadkar complaint is about electricity bill which is in my mothers name Smt. Luxmibai Halwadkar. I received a bill of December 2015 with an amount of Rs. 4450.00 of 398 units with meter reading-previous reading 12098 & present reading 12496 which is paid. The next month i.e. January 2016, I received for an amount of Rs.1500.00 of 208 unit, with meter reading of previous reading 12496 and present reading 12262. Previous reading is always lesser than present reading, which is not in the case of January 2016. I took my reading on 08/02/2016 which was 12303. As a consumer I am fined for late payment even my line is cut. I should be duly compensated for overcharging as per charges per unit.

                                My Consumer no[protected] electricity meter has been removed without any notice and with out any information. I have received electricity bill of Rs 1170 on 20-Feb-2016 and due date of which is 07-March-2016. But from the MSEB deportment my electricity meter has been removed without any consent or nigher received any notice or information. Once I complaint to customer care ([protected]) and Nalasopara division office (+[protected] respective officer told me to meet Assistant Engineer Mr Sheikh or pay bill amount with meter disconnection charges. My concern is if I have due date till 7th March and I did not received any notice regarding meter disconnection then how could they disconnect my electricity meter and recover unnecessary meter disconnection charges. Your kind intervention will be appreciated.

                                  I pay all bills Online through Net Banking.
                                  Being all clear records, Yesterday few persons from MSEB Dombivli reached my home and enquired for us. When no one at Home, they just disconnected our House Power.
                                  After coming to know all this, We reached MIDC for checking the status at MSEB, but they just said it will be connected by evening.
                                  Kindly tell me the reason for all this which is not acceptable and it is something Unethical Behaviour.

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      I undersigned Mr. Vitthal Mahadev Kasar bearing MSEDCL consumer No.[protected] would like to inform you that from last 2 to 3 months the bills for electricity I have received are not normal according to my usage. The electricity meter was changed recently before 4-5 months as previous meter was faulty. Last month I had already informed you about low bill which I had received last month but up till this date no action has been taken in the matter and yesterday I have received bill for the month Feb-2016 which is very high of Rs.2550/- with consumption of 320 units in a month. Electricity consumption of 320 units in month is almost impossible considering our previous few months bills. As I am receiving either very low bills or very high bills, it must be result of faulty Electricity meter OR improper readings taken by MSEB.

                                      When I inquired at Sawantwadi MSEB office it has been told that they do not have photos of our Electricity Meter readings from last 3-4 months and also there were no photos of Meter reading present on bills which I received in last 2-3 months, So this is complete negligence of MSEB.

                                      So I request you to kindly make proper correction to my current Electricity bill of Feb-2016 and any further electricity Bills which will be billed on this current faulty Electricity meter. Also I would like to request you to replace our current Faulty Electricity meter bearing consumer No.[protected] at an earliest to avoid further incorrect bills,

                                      I have already submitted written application at Sawantwadi office today on 20-02-16,
