My bill for december 2015 is inflated. My consumer no is[protected]. Billing unit 4728, msedcl. Units utilised from 1/12/15 to 18/1/2015 are 64. Average less than 4 per unit. My previous electricity consumption is as under : consumption in units : meter no. [protected] jan 15 : 94, feb 91, mar 115, april 122, may 161, jun 149, jul 108, aug 140, sept 126, oct 147, nov 138 where as december 2015 is 254 units. No change in use of appliances used from 1975 onwards. Please rectify the bill and adjust in the bill of jan 2016 as i have paid bill of dec 2016 on 16/12/2015.     To Division officers in Charge and Public relation department, Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. Consumer Details: Consumer Number:[protected] Billing Unit: 4652:CBD BELAPUR S/DN. Consumer Name: RAJARSHI MANDAL Address: FLAT NO-D/1401 PLOT NO-46, 47, 55 SECT-11, 400614 This is to bring to your notice unethical and bad practices followed by Electricity office members of CDB Belapur Sector 11. This has become a regular practice in CBD Belapur area Sector 11 that some indiscriminate workers(who refuses to disclose names) from Maharashtra State Electricity boards visit every building and disconnects electricity lines without any permission or notice or any logic. Most often they hound the consumers for no reason. Unfortunately, I have been the sufferer of this ill practice not once but thrice in this year. Tonight (December[protected] my wife came back from office to discover that our electricity line of our flat 1401has been disconnected. Currently I am in US and have no clue of whom to reach out to. We paid our electricity bill of last month online. This month there was a delay but it’s hard to understand why would you disconnect electricity line without our permission (when you are legally bound to.) Please do not think all consumers are illiterate fools and do not have any idea of rights and legalities. This is to keep to your notice that under Electricity Consumer right section Consumers have a right To receive minimum fifteen clear days’ notice in writing before disconnection under default of payment under section 56 of the Act. 1) No Notice was sent to us (the consumer) before disconnection. 2) The Bill generated for the month (attached to the email) says due date for the month is 11-December-2015. Even if electricity board decides to send me a notice (which they have not as yet ) on 11 December, 15 days from 11 December is 26-December-2015. Under no logic can someone come and disconnect the electricity of our house. 3) I would like to take this matter to the consumer forum if a strict action is not taken against the electricity mafias in our area. 4) An apology from the Electricity Board would be helpful. 5) Also please let me know the contact number of the Manager of CBD Belapur division who takes the call of disconnection. So that in future I can contact him directly without disturbing others. As I mentioned earlier, this is not the first but third instance. My electricity line was disconnected some 5-6 months ago even when we paid everything on time. My wife had to go all the way to Vashi to get the connection back when she showed the receipt of payment. Please understand that we are working couples. It is not our duty to inform the random bill collectors in CBD Belapur that we have paid online. Lastly, I do not have any personal vendetta on the Electricity Board, I think you guys are doing good job in providing us continuous electricity without regular power cuts. However I think I should bring to your notice the illegal practices which can potentially lead the department into black water. Please let me know if I am wrong in my complain. We need to solve the problem together. Your reply and support will be much appreciated.

    I tried to reach out to the division officer for my area however the email address mentioned in the official website seems to be illegible ( [protected]@ho.mahadiscom.in ). My complain email bounced.

    Is MSEB even serious about problem resolution ?

I am having flat at Location - 5/130, Zainy Chs, Near police Station, Mumbra ;could you please answer my few below queries: This is with reference to my electricity bill for the month of november is 6000 whereas the meter reading is 0.234kwh . This is not right and must be fixed urgently. Please let me know why Bills are not being generated based on correct meter reading. Please reply urgently with status of above.           MSEDCL KALYAN POLICE FIR No.3978/15 dated 10/10/2015 has not been taken seriously and still using Electric Direct Line without Meter by Consumer No.[protected] / PD 2014 ISHAQ ABBAS SHAIKH, Flat No. G-4 AL Ashraf Building No.26, Shailesh Nagar, Mumbra 400612 Dist. Thane. Maharashtra. His son Javed Ishaq Shaikh reconnects illegal line everytime.

            Subject:- Wrong billing done by your office-Consumer No[protected] Respected Sir, I wish to inform you that On 23rd September 2015 new electric meter was installed by your office as the earlier meter was faulty. I was expecting the electricity bill as per the new reading of new meter, However for last two months your office is sending the bill as per old stating the meter is faulty. The photo taken by your office clearly shows the meter is new and the meter reading is 11. I have paid the bill for sept 15 and October as per your bill. However your office is continuously send the bill as per Faulty Meter. I am requesting you to look into this matter and charge the bill and adjust the balance money in the coming bills.

              Please note Transformer is located in our society gate..its always sparking the light ..people may die due to this issue..its caused frequently accident on gate..Last month one person got and accident ..i was in ICU bcz of this transformer. Now day before yesterday also one of our society member got and accident.

              We have already advise ed our builder to shift ..but tells us we require permission from MSEB.Builder is ready to pay extra charge for shifting this transformer.

              We want this transformer to shift at any cost

                Consumer no:[protected] Name: PK Mathai Billing unit: 4593/ Dapodi Sub Division I wanted to complain about the excess units that is currently being captured in my bill for the last 5 to 6 months. I have observed this trend- an increase in the number o[censored]ntis consumed which is quite surprising as i have not installed any AC or electronic appliance that consumes high wattage. When I contacted through your Toll free number I got the information that my payment for the month November 2015 is received by MSEB and they have given the receipt no as[protected].But the payment history still shows the payment for Nov 2015 as due. Please check and do the correction at the earliest.

                      I am constantly reporting about the high bill. I have raised a complaint from June, 2015 but haven't even received a feedback. Till date, they are saying that we haven't received any feedback from the sub-division. its already been 5 months . how many more years they want to reply ? I wrote a mail to the SDO, but he is also super busy to reply. Then they started sending more high rate bills and whenever I ask the customer care for the details of the charges, they say that they dont have any idea about it, please go and contact the sub-division. What are you guys being paid for then if you dont even know the basic idea of how the billing charges apply? I always get a very fluctuated bill like 2000 in month then 6000 in the other, 7000 in the other month, then again 4000 in the following month. Very depressing conditionof how the government employees work? They should atleast work for their own respect if they cannot work for the company's respect. Please check the meter. i have a strong feeling that my meter is not working properly. My consumer number is[protected]. My contact number is [protected].

                        My both tentants manage to get a new connection by submitting false papers to MSEDCL & they have not paid the bill since last 6months still MSEDCL is not disconnecting the connection. I submitted letter to MSEDCL about the same & brought all this to their notice but nothing is being done by them till now. I am really surprise to see all this that inspite of not paying the bill since 6 months the connection is still on. Their consumer no is[protected] last paid is 15th june 2015 amount pending is 10810/-) & other consumer no is[protected]last paid is 29/9/15 amount pending is 3280/-)

                          There is an increase in electricity bills on every alternate months. october 2015 billed amount was 1470, November 2015 billed amount is 4600 . Almost 3times higher. I have logged complaint online number:3324524. Also hand delivered complaint to Kalamboli, Khandacolony Office, Navi mumbai.
                          The usage / consume of electricity is same every month but still the units increases is very fast and getting inflated bills. Person had visited to check meter and claimed that meter is ok and running fine. The same we asked to give in writing which is not given yet.
                          Came to know from other sources that maximum societies are getting inflated bills. The right fact is not yet disclosed to consumer about the inflated bills.
                          Need to put some inquiry about the same on priority to get justice to the consumer and pay normal consumption bill regularly.

                                  महोदय उपरोक्त विशिए आपणाला कळवन्यात येते की प्लाट क्रंमाक 285, डॉ गादीया हॉस्पिटल च्या मागे, संभाजी नगर, प्रियदर्शनी कॉलनी जालना येथे मागील 10 वर्षापासून कैलास श्रीरंग निकाल्जे नावाचा इसम हा वीज चोरी करत असून तो ही चोरी केलेली विज त्याच्या 4 भाडेकरू याना सुद्धा विकत आहे त्याच्या व् भाडेकरू यांचे कड़े 4इलेक्ट्रिक शेगडी, ४ टीवी, 1 पाण्याची मोटर, 1नगर परिषद नळ मोटर, 4 पंखे, 8 बल्ब इ. साहित्य विना रोकटोक मागील 10 वर्षापासून वीज चोरून चालु आहे या वीज चोरी मुले त्याचे वायर वारंवार बर्स्ट होत असून त्याचा विज प्रवाह आमच्या शटर मधे उतरत आहे व शटर चा वापर कर्नार्याना विजेचा धक्का बसत आहे.या मूळे एखाद्या दिवशी मोठा अपघात होउन मोठी जीवित, वित्त हानी होण्याची शक्यता आहे तरी आपण या कड़े गंभीर पने लक्ष देऊन पुढील अपघात टाळावा ही नम्र विनंती आपला विश्वासु विजय शिवाजी आदमाने 271, प्रियदर्शनी कॉलोनी संभाजी नगर जालना फ़ोन क्रमांक [protected] सोबत विज चोरी होत असल्या बाबत चा फोटो अटैचमेंट मधे जोडलेला आहे कृपया तो बघून घेणे

                                    I have complain on mseb online site regarding the matter of power failure due to the overhead cable fault. my request no[protected]/[protected]/[protected]/[protected]. even i spoke to customar care representative. but till date my problem is not solved. i pay yearly amount in advance.

                                      SIR, i have paid bill of amount rs. 8360=00 for month of july 2015 for consumer no.[protected]. the said amount was paid on 10.09.2015; paid amount receipt was misplaced but unfortunately the paid amount of rs. 8360=00 was added in the next bill. we hereby requested to check the same paid bill details for date 10th of sep 2015 at mseb office, but they always said that it will be adjusted in next bill. but that amount is still not adjusted. attached is herewith complaint launched to mseb office. kindly ask them to check details and deduct the amount of rs. 8360=00 from my electric bills. thanks

                                        Respected sir/madam sub: faulty bill ( customer name indian polymers ) 401205 consumer no –[protected] billing unit no – 4359 vasai rd east s/dn we are getting faulty bills from mseb we are having bill in 18th aug 2015 to 20th sep2015 bill amount was rs 290 and know i have recd an bill from your side for month of 20th sep 2015 to 22nd oct2015 rs 4740 kindly clear this matter sameer [protected]
