    This is to bring to your attention that, my recorded consumption unit has bee off charts, unlike my past three years' consumption. And the matter is getting more suspicious when many houses in our building are getting the same excess in their bill. So much as one connection, where nobody leaves has got Rs 1300 INR as their bill for the month of November, while August to October shows zero unit consumption.       Hi Sir/ Madam, This is with regards to MSEB bill reaching the consumer with a delay of more than a month after the period for which bill is generated. It has been noticed that the bill is delivered late and after the "if you pay till" date. For example for consumer#[protected], the bill duration is 18/08/2015 to 20/09/2015, the "antim tarikh" is 20/10/15. If I pay before the antim tarikh bill amount is Rs.1930 while if I miss that date bill amount is Rs.1990. Kindly let me know how is the consumer expected to pay the amount without fine if it reaches on 25/10/2015. Repeated questions to the deliverer has failed to generate any response. I can assure you this is not the first time when the delivery has been delayed. What surprises me even more is that the deliverer never notes the date of delivery to the consumer and drops the bill any time at 8pm or even on a Sunday. When asked why the delay he did not have a satisfactory answer and ranaway when asked about the agency that hired him. Kindly revert with an explanation that holds true in the above case or direct me to someone who can. Thank you, Harsha Shashikanth Vasai

          Myself, Jogendra Rai, having electricity consumer number[protected]. It has been observed that the bill amount is continuously increasing from last 3 months after changing previous faulty meter. I had already paid Rs.1500/- before 3 months for meter changing and again the bill is coming very high ( Rs.3500/- ). When I had enquire about this to Nallasopara ( E ) MSED office, Mr. Sayyad ( engineer ) had told me to change meter again. It means your new meter don't have any guarantee. Why should I pay again for the meter. This is MSED responsibility to provide proper equipements to there consumers. I request you to take some necessary action and reduce the bill accordingly otherwise I will go to consumer court and also file complaint in RTI act.             I am a resident of Mahalaxmi Nagar, Nere, Panvel, and there has been frequent power cuts every now and then. Earlier we used to have power cuts only on Tuesday for about 6-8 hours, now it has become an everyday issue. Sometimes the power cut is like, power comes for 5 minutes and then again goes off and then again comes for five minutes or so and goes off. Because of this the electrical equipments also are getting damaged. Please do something about this frequent power cuts. It is real frustrating.

            I am a resident of Mahalaxmi Nagar, Nere, New Panvel, and there has been frequent power cuts every now and then. All people are working from home during the pandemic so is there any need for frequent powercuts????
            I don't understand what kind of substation maintenance work happens and if so then why on a working day(Tue) and remaining days 5-15mins. Remove lights on Sat or on Sun when less people are not working. Are you trying to save power supply for future and all that accounts from villages and gaon like Nere, koproli, Chipke, bhokarpada, kamothe etc and not from cities?. Why are you sucking our blood for no reason and increasing our frustration levels...
            We need an answer.

                  I would like to bring your attention that, i received electricity bill of month Sep-15 of amount INR 1850 (Consumer No.[protected], billing unit 4359 vasai east) which seems to be very high in compare to my actual consumption. Since my last bill paid amount is INR 870 and i cannot understand this rapidly fluctuation in my electricity charges. So i do request you that kindly review my electricity bill and correct, so that i can pay the actual amount. Your kind consideration and your quick response on my request is always appreciated . For your reference i am giving you load connected to my household as following- CFL Bulb 12 watt - 1 no. + 2 no. CFLof 9watt + 2 zero watt buld using in in toilet and bathroom (which are used in night time only for maximum 1 hours (totaly a day) 2 No. Fans 1 LED TV - 40-45 Watt (hardly using 3-4 hours a day) 5star power rating Refridgrator 190 L- 1 no.

Our Monthly meter unit is coming more than 500 unit. which is very high for 4 members family. Till the date form April 2014 I had paid Rs.2000/- for light bill, which is very high for person like me who is salaried. If I pay my 40% of salary in light bill, then how should I survive for month and how should I save money. My father is continuously going to local sub division office in Dombivli for high billing and for meter complaint, but till the date there is no action taken, & I am paying the bill for it. Hand written application is also submitted in local office of Dombivali. Till the March 2014 the unit was coming proper, but after suddenly form April 2014 it is been double. So i strongly request you to change my meter of my home . There are several peoples who illegally used electricity and the peoples like us are smashed in between to pay the high bills which we are not using. so please take necessary action against it at earliest.                       Dear Sir, My consumer no. is[protected] and billing unit is 4636. For the month of June-Aug'15, I received electricity of bill approximately 400 rupees on an average but suddenly in the month of Sep'15, I received bill of 1500 rupees. This issue is observed in other flats also in my society. After the complaints, meters have been replaced in society. I have sent the mail for the same to [protected]@ho.mahadiscom.in but still there is no reply. Can you please look into the issue and suggest whether and why I should pay the bill of this amount.                         I am consumer no.[protected] name Mr. Nikhil N Dabhekar have chawl no. 2 Vaishnvidevi R Dharama Bhau nagar Mumbra have been receiving bills till date amounting to 7670 Rs. But as the chawl is vacant and no one is utilizing the power still every month we receive bill for consuming 120 units normally. I have given several complaints at Mumbra office and Thane wagle estate office of MSEDCL but still no one has come for checking or received any response.


                        Since the meter is faulty this bill is generated hence please look into this matter and I hope to receive an action on this at the earliest.

                            Greetings to you Sir, This is in regards to the Electricity Bills for the consumer No.:[protected], Old Consumer No.: R11017. Billing Unit : 4178:DAPOLI I S/DN Under the name : SHRI GAFUR SATTAR RAKHANGE. ADDRESS : AT PO DAPOLI TAL DAPOLI DIST RATNAGIRI. Meter No. : 00470112 DAPOLI 415712 I am writing this letter to bring to your notice that we have been getting Inflated / Incorrect bills for the last 4 months. I am quite disturbed and highly disappointed to notice such an irresponsible behaviour of the Electricity board in this matter. I regret to say that you have overcharged me for domestic electricity for the bill date 07-JUL-2015, 05-AUG-2015, 01-SEP-2015 and 03-OCT-2015. It was just not possible for us to have used so much of power during this period as we were not at home during this period and the house was locked. If you look at the meter reading the Current Reading and Previous Reading shows as 5633 for the bill date 07-JUL-2015, 05-AUG-2015, 01-SEP-2015 and 03-OCT-2015 which means that there is no consumption of electricity at this residential address during this period. Inspite of not using the electricity we were sent high bills of Rs.500 on an average for this duration. The last proper bill received was for the Bill date 05-JUN-2015 which has the Previous reading as 5554 and the current reading as 5633 and after that the meter has not captured any reading which is an indication and a proof that the electricity was not used at this premise. I have attached the copy of disputed bills in the html format for your reference. I would request a refund / adjustment of the money in the coming bills.                               Consumer No :[protected] Billing Unit : 4706 : VIRAR East S/DN Sir, With a sense of dissatisfaction, I am writing this to you with a sincere request of your kind attention and resolution of the issue. This may be the 2nd occasion when I am forced to write such an e-Mail on the same subject matter. Please treat this as an urgent issue and do the needful. No one is staying in that flat and it has been vacated from October 2014. Till May 2015 MSEDCL has charged us Rs. 450 per month. After putting a complaint for last 2 months we had not charged a single rupee but started deducting the same from the previous deposit. From the month of August again they are charging us the nominal value of Rs. 90 per month but what about the excess recovered for the period Oct 2014 to May 2015. Please let us know how we can have the refund of that excess amount paid or either kindly adjust it for the future bills. Regards Chetan

I am forced to write such an e-Mail on the subject matter. There is hardly consumption of an average of 250 units for every month and suddenly the bill for the period 15.08.2015 to 15.09.2015 shows that we have consumed 366 units. How can it would be possible we dont have any such kind of gadgets / appliances which could have consumed high electric units. I am also attaching herewith my bill for the said mentioned period. In this regard, I sincerely request you to probe the matter and resolve the issue, as I strongly suspect that the meter reading is not being done correctly and an abstract average billing is being provided to us on the electricity bill.                                 Sir, Myself Mr.Amol Deshmukh, ([protected]) R/at:- s.No.35, Tukai nagar, Kale padal, Hadapsar, Pune - 411028, on the last night in my area electricity power cut on 8.30pm and which is not coming till writing of this complaint, So many families and their child suffering without power and now a days health disease life dengue is in danger end for human being that why we worried about this inconvenience cause by MSEDCL, and during this power failure i have call on the concern office land line number[protected] on 1st time 8.34pm, 2nd time 8.52pm, on 8.53pm on third time and morning on 7.27am on fourth time but neither they have received the my any of the single call nor resolved the issue of power failure. It is therefore prayed that, kindly resolve this problem as earliest.

                                  This is with extreme dissatisfaction, i am writing in this forum against the discrepant electricity billing of mahadiscom / mseb / msedcl. My consumer number is[protected] and my sub division is airoli and division vashi, navi mumbai. It has been commonly observed at periodic intervals that the billing is on the higher end without any reason. As a domestic house hold which remains locked almost the major parts of the day, without any electricity usage, how come the bill shows consumption of 413 units. In addition, i would like to state that this may be my 10th email complaint against the wrong billing of mahadiscom / mseb / msedcl. However, every time i complain the bill charged for the succeeding month is quite reasonable and sees ok, however, again after a couple of months the same issue happens. I seek your intervention to reolve this isse.

                                    My bill for July towards meter number[protected] amouted to Rs 3060/- was paid vide cheque number 283373 . this cheque was encashed on 30.07.2015. This reflected as an unpaid amount again in the month of Aug 2015 wherein I was forced to pay Rs 5060/- ( Rs 3123/- previous balance of July + Rs 1938/- August month charges. This was mentioned in our letter dated 03.09.2015 which was in-warded at Ref No MSEDCLtd Nagar Rd / S / Dn Receipt No 3043 dated 15.9.2015. Also since the year 2010 I am receiving the MSEB bills in the name of Shri Puri Arun Kuar which should please be corrected to Shri Puri Arun Kumar .In short Kumar is being written as Kuar . This was mentioned in our letter dated 04.09.2015 which was inwarded at Ref No MSEDCLtd Nagar Rd / S / Dn Receipt No 3044 dated 15.9.2015. I have again received a bill for Rs 2530/- for the month of September 2015 which is in the name of Kuar. No credit was given to me in spite of the encashment of Rs 3060/- vide cheque no 283373. Please make the second name correction immediately and oblige Also please adjust Rs 3060/- in my forth coming bills. Please do the needful and oblige Mr A.K. Puri Director

                                      Electricity Bill for the above mentioned Consumer Number for the month of July'15 has been paid ON-LINE on 19/08/2015 and the amount was debited from the account. However, the bill on the site is still showing to be paid and is being carried forward to the next month. A complaint No.2951498 was made to Mahadiscom and also many telephone calls were made to follow up the complaint. But we just get a standard answer from their executive that their system is not updated. In the meantime Mahadiscom has sent their people twice to cut the meter. I want to know were is my amount of Rs.4601/-, which I paid online gone if it is debited from my account and how can Mahadiscom send their people to cut the meter when a complaint is already made. Is'nt there any co-ordination within the organisation. Will this problem be solved or should I register a police complaint.

                                        The clerk sitting at the window for collection never takes any payment and sends everyone coming to the opposite side for making payments, where there is a private agency appointed for collection. Even when there are long queues at the private agency window, he never takes the payment giving some or the other excuse. This is happening inside the MSEB office in sector 12, Kharghar.
