I am a tenant suffering since the past 6 months due to negligence from MAHADISCOM. I am getting huge electricity bills. The meter is not functional and even after 6-7 complaints it is not being replaced and I am being sent fixed monthly bill of 1750 INR with no valid explanation. Attached are the several service requests / complaints made online . All of them are Assigned, but not worked on. I have also met them personally 3 times but no one is sent to replace the meter. My monthly bill is on an average of 1100 to 1200 but I am paying 600 extra every month without my fault.     I have used [protected]@mahadiscom.in site to complain about electricity theft done in my locality (Amrai ward no.1, ghugus) multiple times however there was no action taken yet. Almost all the house hold here run on latest electric appliance through out the day and pay a minimum of 200 Rs as their monthly bill. All these houses have tampered meters. They have all tampered using x-ray film and get minimum bills. To my surprise this method was suggested by MSEB guys . I would request MSEB authorities to take strict action against this theft. Why would few citizen pay more for using less and others are privileged to use as much as they can. Immediate action is highly appreciated

    Dear Mr. J. Mishra:

    You have complained and MSEB has not taken any action. Here you said minimum Rs. 200/- pm the theft consumers pay. You will be surprised that I know a person in my apartment who has all the electric appliances and he JUST ONLY PAY RS. 40/- PER MONTH. The MSEB personnel has involved in this matter. The theft man has just fixed a AC and pay only Rs. 40/-. You what we call this " SHADOW UNDER LAMP". Innocent and honest consumers pay monthly more than 150/- to 1000/- and they do have AC and latest electric appliances. For your kind information I would like to say here that the FIXED CHARGES OF MESEB IS RS. 40/-, where your house is closed or not closed. The MSEB personnel has fixed the man with Monthly Charges of Rs. 40/-.

    This is we call GOOD DAYS ARE COMING. MSEB ZINDABAD.

      we live in koperkhairne sector 19 Om sai krupa appt, we have been facing electicity issue from last 4 days in the night for 4 to 5 hours there is no electricity in our area, everyday we have to sleep in that hot environment without fan like electricity is continuously failing and no one response or repair the circuits properly .

              Very disgusting experience with MAHADISCO, this is an compliant regarding the disconnection of electricity even after bill payment, People of MAHADISCOM Badlapur office people don't bother to check the records and they just disconnect the electricity with out intimation and when nobody is at home. On enquiry the Boss of this office reduly reply's u might have not paid the bill. where as the bill was paid well in advance. Bill was disbursed on 3rd mar'15 by MAHADISCO and disconnected on 19-Mar-2015. one imp point bill payment terms has not been mentioned that the bill has to be paid with in month's time. Would expect some action against Ravendra ofBadlapur office.

They have paid the advance amount so every time minimum bill is coming Rs 80 Even now also it should be in credit balance but in Feb month amount is above Rs 2000 and it shows meter reading units 500.                       since August Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd is charging me without proper billing in have complained via tool free number and online and still this issue was not sorted since last 8 months they have been billing for 205 units every month since August kindly help me file a case again this company

I am got meter and connection on July/2014, but still I am not getting bill from MSEB. So I ask bill many times in Karjat MSEB, but they told me that they release the bill next, they told me many times, but every time they say different opinion. The bill appears to be inflated, as I know for certain that our consumption electricity is not so high as to warrant such a high bill.                                       My consumer no.[protected]. I paid bill for the month of Dec.2014 & Jan.2015 Bill amount is exorbitant.I visited Mahadiscom office at AmbernathEast and was advised to pay Rs.150/-towards meter checking charges on 24thJanuary, 2014 which I paid promptly and submitted copy of the receipt alongwith copies of bills for Dec. and Jan.2015 along with yearlyconsumption statement of the said meter. After 10/15 days someone visited my place and checked the meter and found faulty, it was runningfast and assured me that the meter will be changed in a day or two. Till date nothing has been done every phones calls gets promptreply from the Junior Engineer of thatplace saying either he is out or he willcheck the file or currently no metersare available. Till date I have ot even got test report after repeated visits to the testing place either theplace is closed or the concerned person is out on official duty. I am sure there is some METER SCAM and all the concerned are closely connectedwith it and the consumer is made to run from pillar to post. Please request the concerned person to change the meter without further delay and refund/adjustthe excess amount paid by me against current /future bills.It is really shameful to note that a SENIOR PERSON is harassed to satisfy their greed Padma Ravindran

                                      I have been trying to contact JE Mr. Bhondekar but he is not taking my calls.
                                      Am attaching proof of payment of Rs. 150/- towards meter checking charges.
                                      Am also trying to get test report but till date no success.
                                      Please note I am not the only consumer having this problems there are several people who are being harassed and are made to pay exorbitant bills, if bills are not paid they are disconnecting the meters.
