Dear Sir,
Due to high voltage supply in New Samir Apartment, Behind Akshay Bar, Wing A & B, ST Depo Road, Nalasopara W, Thane 401203, we lost our Tube Light/ Lamp Fuses, TV Circuit Burns. For Heavy Voltage (Around 335V-330V) we are loosing our daily uses various electrical instruments. I requesting to authority please visit the site and find a solution for regular voltage supply as early as possible.

    Dear Consumer court,

    MSEB staff have erroneously disconnected our power supply since yesterday i.e 26the December, 2011 morning witheout any warning and prior intimation theough we have paid online all thee bills well in advance. The due date being 29the December, it is very strange, theat theey visited our house, as we are working class theey weren't able to contact us and disconnected witheout any verbal or written reminders or warnings.

    This is pathetic and caused us inconvenience as we have a 2 year old kid at home and we had to suffer for a whole night witheout the electricity. Firstly it is very difficult to get through their numbers, once they pick up after half the day is spent calling them they start giving the same old excuses saying this is not our department call another numbers or not our area... I had called more then ten numbers since morning but the only answer i get is - this is not our area and or please personally go and visit our offices with the receipt. We fail to understand when its their fault and they have done such a serious error why should we visit their office and wait for their response. It should be MSEB who are suppose to get back to us and resume services quickly.. but they are least bothered. They don't want to help at all instead they are giving ten different number to call. we are doing online payment as we don't have time like government officials have in their office we are working class people with very less time for these unwanted issues.

    Please help We are having lots of hope on consumer court to take a severe action and make them realize their carelessness.

      Dear Sir,

      I have logged complaint regarding my electric bill consumption on dated 24.11.2011 in mseb office buti bori as per suggestion on helpline no:-[protected](Mr. Choudhary).

      I am having my flat on Besa where i was not residing till sept-2011 but meter was ganerating bill even not in use. Now i have given it on rent and paid all dues.

      Even after my complaint MSEB has not taken any single initiative to help me on this matter. i have called trice on this helpline number but never got satisfactory result.

      Please look at the attached file and help me to solve this issue as early as possible.

        Since last 8 months I am out of city and no one is there to my address
        . But the elec bill comsumption shows 44 units and I have complained
        couple of times but no luck . I paid a heavy amount on this and would
        like to adjust/recover .
        As I am out of city so request you to look into this on priority and help me .

          My customer number is[protected] The electricibity bill which I have received this month is too high. We dont use to this extent at all. We do not have use during the week days since we are working. Only week ends we are at home. This is very bad. Please charge only for the units which we have used REALLY. Do not over charge like this. This will lead to many problems. My average bill was somewhere around 400-450 All of a sudden this has shooted up. I really do not understand why this is happening or why MSEB is doing these wrong things. I am one of the person who always go for SAVE ELECTRICITY Also, we dont have a washing machine, AC or Geyser at home.

          Please look into the same urgently and solve it.

            Online Payment not reflecting in next Bill

            My electricity Bill for October 11 (Rs 280) was paid online on 28th Oct 11. However in the Nov -11 Bill the previous payment Details are not reflected and the Oct Bill amount has been added as Arrears . Thus the NOV 11 bill total i 336 +284(Arrears) = 620
            Although on the Mahadiscom Website, the Payment Receipt for Oct Bill Payment is generated and payment date is reflected at 28th Oct 11. Still in the Nov Bill the last payment details...

              Dear Sir,

              Myself Saurabh Shukla is using the consumer no. :[protected] for electricity . Sir I was not in home and all the power switch were off from 10th Nov’11 to 25th Nov’11 morning . then electricity bill for the month of 23.10.2011 to 23.11.2011 should be less from last month but it so more .

              The last paid bill amount was `330.00/- and this month bill is `390.00. Requesting you to clear this issue as soon as possible because the last date is 08.12.2011.

              One main point is that when i came in this home i got a not paid bill and after 2-3 days MSEB representative came and cut my home light when i asked the guard then he told me about not paid bill. when they can come to cut my electricity, they should also come to get meter reading also.i don't know what is the procedure to get the meter reading. i called in nerul electricity sub division asked them theie email id to send a mail regarding my complaint then they are neither giving their mail id nor want to talk me on phone. MSEB representative is saying that you have to come office and give a complaint in hand written. i wnat to say if i can go there to give comaplint physically then i can also pay bill by hand not through net banking in working hours. They should aware that an employee can come to therir office in holidays only not in working hours.

              Please help me and resolve the issue.

                SIR,
                MY CONSUMER NO. IS[protected] R-402, DUE TO FAULTY METER I HAVE CHANGED MY METER FROM MSEB 4 MONTHS BACK
                MORE OVER MY CONSUMPTION IS VERY LESS SINCE I AM NOT STAYING.(WEEK END HOME AT KELVE ROAD) THOUGH MY PRESENT READING IS 20 UNITS ONLY FOR LAST 4 MONTHS, I HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR 50 UNITS CONTINUOUSLY.
                I THEREFORE REQUEST MSEB OFFICIALS TO CHARGE ME AS PER MY CONSUMPTION READING. PLEASE LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND RESOLVE THE ISSUE.

                  Hi,

                  I have been very upset with the MSEB services since 2 months.I stay in Pratik nagar, Vishrantwadi..These people have been disconnecting my lights with out giving a notice period and also the bill is not due for 2 -3 months. The bill is due only for a month and still without prior notice there has been disconnection happening...After paying the bill these people still ask for money for the reconnection..This is how things work in india...I been constantly getting troubled by these people...please take some action against it....

                      I have three phase connection for my office at the above address. I have always paid my bills in time in last over 30 years that I am at this office.

                      I have been sending letters and visiting MSED Co Ltd. Shivajinagar office since[protected] regarding error in mentioning the wrong reading of the meter. The actual reading of 28625 was recorded as 29625 in my Sept. Bill No. 495 dated[protected]. I wrote letter on 28-9-11 and followed up for their Rep. to come and check current reading.

                      On my follow up, their Rep. came and confirmed on[protected] that the reading on that day was 28777. After this I had to again follow up to get corrected bill on[protected] in which they charged considering reading as 28777 in stead of 28625. (difference should have been 28258 and 28625 = 367 units) I was made to pay Rs. 3,810.00 for 519 units.

                      When I received the Oct bill No. 501 of[protected], I found that ins stead of previous reading as 28777, they have shown 28657, thus 120 units have been charged again.

                      I sent letter dated[protected]acknowledged copy attached) and since then following up by visits / phone but so far no one is ready to correct their mistake.

                      CAN YOU HELP IN THE MATTER? My Consumer No. is[protected] Meter No, [protected]

                      The above bill for Rs.11,850.00 has been received on 27th instant and am surprised to note that the amount is for consumption of 1367 units.

                      I have checked the meter reading yesterday and the same was 28741. This is clear to state that while the photo taken shown meter reading as 28625, you have considered as 29625 and have sent he bill accordingly.

                      When I deputed my Rep. to your office, instead of taking action, we have been ask to make an application so you will depute your Rep. to check the meter reading and then correct the bill for 367 Units against 1367 units billed.

                      You can also check from the copy of the enclosed bill that average units consumed in last two months is Aug- 361 units and July 347 Units, so bill for 367 units is OK.

                      KINDLY NOTE THAT AS THIS IS ERROR ON YOUR PART, I SHOULD NOT BE PENALISED FOR LATE PAYMENT NOR THE CONCESSION FOR TIMELY PAYMENT SHOULD BE REMOVED. PLEASE CORRECT HE BILL IMMEDAITELY AND GIVE MINIMUM 3 DAYS TIME TO PAY CONCESSIONAL AMOUNT.

                      Await your immediate action in the matter.

                      The above bill for October for Rs.1,1610-00 has been received on 27th instant and due to Diwali Holidays the same is sent to day for correction.

                      I am surprised to note that the earlier bill for Sept. was with wrong meter reading and after our many visits to your office the same was corrected for reading upto 28777, instead of 28625 which was the correct reading on the date of taking readings.

                      However, we paid the amount of Rs. 3,810.00 for difference of reading as 28258 & 28777 i.e. 519 units and thought the next bill will start from 28777.

                      You will observe that the October bill reads last reading as 28657, thus charging us more for 120 units which has already been paid!

                      I do not know how your billing system works when you make errors and make clients suffer for nothing!

                      PLEASE NOTE THAT THE OCOTOBER BILL SHOULD BE DIFFRENCE OF 28911 LESS 28777 I.E. ONLY FOR 134 UNITS.

                      The complaint was sent vide my letter dated[protected]receipted copy once again enclosed for ready reference) and since then have made several visits and also talked to your officials at least three to four times when I was promised that I will be called at your office to sort out the matter immediately. However no action has been taken so far and the matter is pending for the best reasons known to you.

                      News papers read that MSED Co. Ltd. Is finding difficulties due to late payments by the consumers and in my case when I am ready to pay correct due amount, your office do not have time to sort out a simple case of wrong billing for over fifteen days and that too when I am following up almost daily.

                      I feel the excess billing of 120 Units can be corrected just by checking the copies of all papers submitted by me if your records can not be traced.

                      I will once again wait till tomorrow to get corrected bill OR else will take further actions at the cost & risk of MSED Co Ltd.

                        Since 15 years my sister is leaving in Nandanvan society in bramhand near swastik society. Suddenly bill increased from 200 to 4000/- . something going wrong with raising bill in MSEB thane.my sisters contact number [protected].

                        My average consumption from July'2017 to Feb'2018 was 300 units. It jumped to 453 units in March'2018. I thought it is due to summer, we may have used the ACs more. Then it further jumped to 699 units in April'2018. We still thought it could be due to extensive use of ACs. Now in May'2018, it has come to 932 units. For a 2 BHK flat with same appliances for more than a year, this is wrong bill. 650 units is also high but 932 is unbelievable. I believe either the meter is faulty or there is a electricity leakage somewhere. We cannot use this much electricity.

                        We have always paid the bill on time. Mostly even before the incentive date. For this hike, we have called the customer care on 2/6/2018 and logged a complaint, visited the power office on 7/6/2018 and relogged a complaint. When I called the customer care today 11/6/2018, they had no update. I am worried that I will be charged a mammoth again this month. Can someone please help.

                        To add, my April bill was 7, 800 and May bill is 11, 330. which is extremely high for a 2BHK flat and it is pinching my pocket. I am a middle class person staying on rent at this premise. Please help!!

                          i am a consumer of MSEB, & i am become a victim o[censored]ndue,unreasonable & unethical work going on in MSEB, KISAN NAGAR DIV. THANE. before sep 2011 my area was alloted under mulund division bt since sep 2011 my area comes under kisan nagar division,however there was a sudden increase in my eletric city bill & the bill for sep 2011 was[protected] rs more than all d previous bills though there was no change in my consumption or appliances,as soon as i got d bill i gave an complaint in written to the concerned person in MSEB,THANE, MR.KALERIA .they assured me that they will check the meter & if its faulty they will replace it withn in 2-4 days.on the contrary insipte of reminding them on phone about the fault nobody came to do their duty & every time when i called the div. engg. MR.KALERIA, he said me he is concerned with the prob n i shud not call him,& he suggested me to go to the off. & meet sonme girl named MANISHA.when i went to the off. she was not present & they said me that MR.KALERIA is on leave for 10-15 days & so i should talk with MR.RAGHVAN now,he also assured me the same & said that he will send someone to check d fault within next 2 days,bt no one still came when i called him after 3 days ,he said that your meter has already been checked so u come to the off & meet me.when finally i went to the off he started putting their mistake on my shoulders saying & asked me to pay the bill,& said in next month we will look into the matter.in this procedure my due date for bill payment was over so i could not pay the bill,now i hav got the bill for oct 2011 above 4380 rs. these people are unnecessary harrassing me & giving bills randomly,without the consumers fault they are been harrassed by MESB.please help me as i am not only the one who has fall prey to MSEB.

                              My consumer no.[protected], R no.17233.



                              1.we are paying the bill regularly & theres no pending bills yet.We have recived this month bill & the due date is 8/11/11. But your Employers arriving earlier before the date of paying the bills.To CUT down the meters.
                              2.Your employer charging everyone 100Rs per person for the reattaching of the meter lines.And 300Rs for the reattaching the face of the per buildings.
                              3.The person residing just beside my flate is using the line unauthorised way his bill no .is[protected] his old no.17230 and he is not even a member in the society bcuz he is a RENTER & And he was using PD meters over 3yr yet Even your employers knows everything that he is using PD meter in a illegal way yet NON of your Employers has not taken any action against him.




                              This is for your information that corruption is in your MSEB & Its necessary to take action as soon as possible.

                              OR else we have to complain in the head office OR use the media way (THIS NOT A NORMAL CONSUMER REQUEST ITS A WARNING).

                                Dear Sir,
                                This is Ramprasad Dhakad staying at Flno23 Shyamashish Coophsg, Soc Pendasengr Sarswatcol Dombivli 421201
                                Consumer No:[protected] which is registered by my landlord Mrs Ambika S Dasan.

                                I'm receiving the bill amount around 820 per month and bill shows meter is Faulty, I have already registered a complaint against it but they are saying we will resolve it soon and your amount will adjust in the next bill but it's not. from last 4 month this is repeated again and again. I'm helpless right now.
                                I have paid all the bills on right time. Please take any helpful step and adjust the amount which I have already paid to them.

                                I hope after taking your action against them, I'll receive the bill according to the meter reading, because as shows it's Faulty in the bill, but it is running fine and generating the correct reading

                                I Mr. Jitendra J Sawant is one of your consumer . My Consumer ID No.[protected] & BU : 4732/ISHWAR NAGAR like to register a complaint request that last two months ( SEPT & OCT - 2014) bill i am receiving with the comment it is being paid by my balance amount available with MSEDCl company ( Rs. 2000/- ).

                                I request to pl provide the confirmation of the same & also request you to verify my billing details & actual meter readings.

                                  I am leaving in Shewalewadi, Uruli Devachi(Bhairvanath) Tal.Haveli Dist.Pune-412308. In our area load sheding done by MSEB is beyond the time table they published in news paper, students and all other emergeny services get affected very much. Can anybody pls look into the matter and solve our problem?. We have facing this problem for countless hours and seen that from the area of PMC which is near to us there are using flash lights of someone club and in our area student cant get power in their exam schedule also. I feel that these will be the reasons of making NAXALWADI.

                                    My electricity meter has suddenly stopped functioning. I immediately lodged complaint with MSEB.
                                    MSEB official who came to check the meter said it needs to be replaced.
                                    He is asking for Bribe failing which he will send us much higher bill for the months when meter was not functioning.
                                    Please suggest what to do & how bill is supposed to be calculated for those months when meter was not functioning.

                                      We stay in Left Bhusari Colony in Pune. On 13th October 2011, morning 8 O'clock there was something wrong in the electric supply received from MSEB. Due to the irregular characteristics of the supply, few electronic/electrical gadgets got damaged. e.g. In our house Washing Machine, DVD player and Set Top Box of Dish TV got damaged. In our colony in several other houses few electronics/electrical gadgets got damaged. e.g. TV, Mobile Phone Charger, Refrigerator etc.

                                      We demand an enquiry into the cause and compensation for the damage from MSEB.
