    This is to bring your attention that the meter at my place is faulty and generates high reading as compared to other in a building. As per my knowledge there are some changes made in meters due to which some receives very high bill and few very low. Kindly requesting requesting uou to inspect in this matter at the earliest.

      Kindly note that above mention details of my electric supply, received higher bill amount showing approx. 7990/. Which is very high considering all other previous bills. Also note that previously in month of march, april, may & june we are at village, so electric consumption almost nil, still we have paid whatever bill we have received that time, considering fact that meter reading may have not taken due to corona situation. But now meter reading etc. Possible still we have received very high electricity bill.
      Please consider this and do appropriate reduction in our electricity bill. Also kindly check our electric meter for proper functioning.

        Dear maharashtra state electricity board,

        Greetings!!

        Hope you all are doing good!

        My name is krishna shinde and my meter is not showing any readings since last 2 years.

        Name : krishna shinde
        Consumer no :[protected]
        Billing unit : 4769 (Vadgaon mawal)
        Issue : meter faulty since last 2 years

        I have visited vadgaon sub-division multiple times in last 2 years.
        For meter testing, i had paid meter testing charges on 31 jan 2019
        Meter testing was done on 25 mar 2019 and local electrician mr. Bansode had sent me vr report on 25 mar 2019.

        I'm retired person so have been staying at my village and hence not been using the electricity of this consumer since last many months.in spite of that, since meter reading is not shown, i've been given default bill of. Rs 500 every month (Consumption unit of 67) even if we're not staying there.

        Electrician has been telling us about shortage of meters every time since last more than 1.5 years and now he is giving an excuse of corona/lockdown.
        It's been more than 1.5-2 years and our meter faulty problem is not yet sorted.

        We've even visited subdivision officer but he said to get in touch with electrician.
        In fear of losing electricity, we're even paying rs. 500 every month in spite of we're not staying there.

        I've even raised telephonic complaint recently about it but they too can't help me about this issue and asked me to visit local subdivision. The complaint number is[protected]

        Since i'm a senior citizen person i do not travel out of my village and hence can not even visit subdivision office frequently considering current pandemic situation.

        I sincerely request you to look into this issue as a matter o[censored]rgency with most priority. Being a retired senior citizen, i really can not even afford to pay rs. 500 every month in spite of we're not staying there.
        So, request you to install the new meter asap or give us the minimum default bill until new meter is not installed.

            Hello,

            This is Sameer Kaulagekar. Our consumer number of MSEB is[protected]. We are getting high and increased bill every month. We do not have that much consumption efor every month. The current bill is Rs4280/-

            This is not at all acceptable. Please take a look into this issue asap and resolve the same.

                    Respected sir,
                    Myself mrs. Khushboo vijay rajbhar a resident from kalyan east, thane, maharashtra. My mseb consumer no. Is[protected] of billing unit 4169 - kalyan east.
                    Sir, recently on 22nd august, 2020 i received a bill from mseb via mail of rs.2110/- showing consumption unit of 48 units. As per the said bill it is issued for 2 moths. Sir, from june 12 till august 12 all family members were out of station and the my house was closed for 2 months. As per the situation, the said bill should have raised for nominal use, but it was raised too high. The said bill shows consumption of 48 units for 2 months with high charges. It is also not cleared, whether reading of the meter unit was done or not.
                    Sir, i have cleared my mseb bill for the month of may, 2020 of rs.1050/- having consumption of 81units on 9th june, 2020. I can submit my travelling tickets as a proof that, no one was present at home for 2 months and my home was closed. Sir, regarding the said issue i also lodged a complaint vai mahavitran app but no reply was received.
                    Sir, i humbly request to take cognizance in said matter by rechecking the said bill and revised it as per the consumption units. Further, i also request to recived reply from mseb by the same mode through which i am registering my complaint.
                    I look forward for solution on my complaint as soon as possible.

                      For go green initiative i logged with 15 digit ggn number on the last printed bill available with me. You sent only 13 digit number. It was not accepted by system. I sent repeated requests but get only 13 digit number repeatedly, the website asks for 15 digit number for logging/enquiry.
                      Instead of twists & turns can you please send directly 15 digit ggn number from latest bill relating to meter no:[protected] to my registered mobile [protected] or the related email id kaulak.[protected]@rediffmail.com.
                      This request may be treated as exceptional as i am not able to trace the spot where the 13 digit response number could be fed to achieve the latest ggn. From"view bill"screen ggn number is not recorded. Printed bill dt 25.8.2020 is delivered to my address till writing of this mail.
                      Please simplify by sending latest ggn number on my mbl [protected].
                      Instead of sending the 15 digit GGN number relating to latest bill [printed copy not yet received on my address] they are twisting the issue by sending 13 digit acknowledgement to enquire from a site where the result would be available.From that page no space/place is visible to put this 13 digit & get desired 15 digit GGN Number. My repeated requests/complaint again gets similar responses & issue remains unresolved till date.
                      Instead of the twists & turns can you please send GGN number relating to latest bill dt 25.08.2020 to my regd mobile [protected] Ot to my regd Mail Id kaulak.[protected]@rediffmai.com.That will expedite my going for "Go green initiative".This GGN number is not available on"View Bill" on your website either.

                        Respected sir,
                        I get electricity bill of rs. 10040/- aug 2020, as well july2020, rs.5040 my average monthly consumption appx 125 units. As you know covid situation, also there no income last 5-6 months. I request you to correct the bill error reaxing as there is some. Fault in meter by last few months.. Pls kindly resove the issue as to earliest

                          My home meter display is not working, i have register complaint 2 times (07/02/2020 and 03/07/202) in electricity office and taking up date every month and i got only one answer from electricity office in past 06 moths that is maters not available.
                          My electricity meter display is not working after that i am getting bill more than 1, 000 rs and in past some months i got bill more than 10, 000 rs after taking mater photo by mseb staff.
                          After getting bill every month i need to visit electricity office to regard reduce my bill.
                          I just want to ask you that when i will get my problem solve???

                                Dear Team,
                                This is in reference to the subject, I the undersigned would like to inform you that for the month of Jun-2020 I have received a bill of Rs.8780 against consumption of 1212 units as mentioned in the bill which I have been able to see on the Mahavitaran application. It is next to impossible for a family of 4 staying in a 300 sq.ft. house to use such high units of electricity. The following points will help you to understand my reasons behind coming to this conclusion:
                                1) The average unit usage for a month has been 140 units for the last 12 months till Feb 2020.
                                2) In the months of Mar and April meter readings have not been taken due to the corona pandemic and we have been sent bills considering average unit consumption.
                                3) The bills for the last 5 months have been (Jan-2020-units-131-Rs.970)(Feb-2020-units-156-Rs.1250)(Mar-2020-units-148-Rs.12... (Apr-2020-units-145-Rs.1140) (May-2020-units-145-Rs.2300).All these bills have been paid through auto debit on respective due dates.
                                4) I somehow feel these payments have not been considered as the total reading mentioned has been taken by the formula (latest meter reading – Last meter reading taken=1212 units).
                                Hence I have paid amount of Rs.4080 which is Rs.[protected]+1140+2300).
                                5) It is practically impossible for a household of 3 adults and 2 children to consume 1212 units in a month. Even if I assume that the average unit corrections have been done for the last 2 months during lockdown the figure would not rise to such high levels.
                                6) I have also been informed by many residents that they have also received inflated bills for the month of Jun-2020.
                                7) The bills for Apr-20 of Rs.1200, May-20 of Rs.1140, Jun-20 of Rs.2300 have been paid.
                                Hence, I request you to please re-check the Jun-2020 bill and refer to the earlier months meter readings & compare them to this month readings. Hoping for a fast resolution.

                                  Actually for the month of July the bill suddenly was 2500, which I paid. I had already paid the bills of march, April, May, June, so it was not a combined bill. Then again for the month of August I have got 3500 rupees bill, on which I am lodging a complaint. This amount of bill can't come bcoz the regular billing amount is around rupees 600-650.
                                  Kindly check and revert.

                                      The power outage in Baner has been on the rise for the last few days. Power is cut off for four to five hours per day. And more importantly, customers are being inconvenienced by the fact that no one is picking up the call at the substation.
