The average bill received throughout last year is not even crossing 600 rs.
However, bill received for june month is 6 times higher than what we usually get, there were no backlogs!
Being said that the bill provided is for 3 months with reading on meter minus the amount paid for the month of april and may as the meter was not able to read.
But on checking meter readings, i observed the data given in bill do not match, in fact the meter has not even crossed the readings mentioned in our bill.
In the quarantine period there was no need to increase the tariff, add additional fixed rates and make this senseless calculations.
Considering increased tariff and additional rate amount, out bill could maximum reach to 1000/- from 600/-, out of which half of the amount has been already paid on monthly basis, this leads to outstanding amount to maximum[protected]/- adding to june month's bill, can go up to 2000.
Such basic calculations, and board is fooling around consumers for 15k and 17k electricity bills!
Why are we supposed to pay for such scam/fraud?
