Mahadiscom / Mseb / Msedcl — Excessive billing without actual meter reading | |||
Sir, We at State Bank of India Sonpeth Branch have rented the premises of Shri Shriram Wankar for our branch in 2009. The electricity bill for our branch is in the name of Shriram Wankar consumer no[protected]. MSECDL has been sending us electricity bill for our branch from feb 15 to apr 2015 and from aug 15 to Nov 2015 without noting actual meter reading. we have lodged several complaints with MSEDCL at sonpeth for rectification of the same. It was attended to in Aug 2015 where we reached a settlement with Exec Eng Shri Gupta for bills till July 2015 by paying Rs90300/- on 31/8/15 DD no 663142. MSEDCL again issued a revised bill of Rs 90297/- in Aug 15. We filed written complaint and also lodged online complaint for the same. Now we have received bill of Rs 194190/- from Aug 15 to Jan 2016 for total units 15307 (Aug reading 107991 till Jan 2016 reading 123598). Inspite o[censored]s complaining about deficiency in service, MSEDCL sent us a notice to settle dues through lok adalat at Sonpeth on 13/2/2016 where they offered to reduce Rs 18720/- from outstanding and pay Rs 175370/- as final settlement. The Bill of Rs 194190 from Aug 2015 till Jan 2016 is arrived at an average of approx 2500 units consumption per month whereas our average unit consumption as evidenced from actual bills of Nov 2015 to Jan 2016 and also from previous bills is no more than 1200 units per month. We have again requested them vide our letter dated 2/3/16 to settle the bills accordingly. But MSEDCL has issued us a notice of disconnecting power supply in case we fail to pay all the outstanding within 8 days from 02/03/16. Application for change of consumer name to SBI Sonpeth along with all necessary fees were submitted to MSEDCL on 04/09/09 which is still pending . We have time and again approached the MSEDCL officials for resolution of all issues but to no avail. We request your kind self to please help us to arrive amicable solution and ask MSEDCL not to disconnect power till issue is settled. Was this information helpful? | |||
