This is regarding my house at thakarwadi village, donvat which was built in 2005. I never had any problem with mseb bills except on one occasion.
In april 2019, the mseb wireman from our area informed that our meter is burnt n have to be replaced with a new one. We paid him n he bought the meter n installed it. After that we have been getting high bills. We visited the main office at khopoli and informed them. They told us to pay n they will look into it. Nothing happened. Every month we would visit n inform them as our premises would be closed n mains shut off.
We built the house with loans as i was working n my husband lost his job in 1997. We thought it will help in old age if we sell. We both r senior citizens n have severe medical problem so cannot visit our house for 3/4 months.
Our house is closed n in november 2019, i got a bill of 1470/-. We visited the main office at khopoli and explained to them. They asked for report from sub office at vavoshi mr kokitkar. We visited n he mentioned "pl issue bill as per reading. Also deduct faulty billed units". When we went back to the main office, the officer in charge mr amit maheshgauri said we have to pay the bill as per reading. We pleaded that a technician be sent to check why the meter is running even when the main is shut off. He said it is our problem.
No local electrician touches mseb meters and their wireman ashok waghmare is not willing to go n check the meter even after our continuous calls every day from our home at thane.
We are in a problem n cannot solve it. After we returned to thane, we found out the reading in our meter after 5 days n it was 11 units more than the units we checked when we closed the main.
It is difficult for us to pay for power we r not using n we r unable to get it checked as the mseb wireman r not cooperating.
Pl help us solve this problem n give us a favourable solution for payment of this high bills.
