I have recived letter from mahanagar gas that my meter was fulty as per their technician who checked in 2009 and didnt informed us and neither changed.

Now suddenly in 2016 they chaged it without saying any reasons.

All these there was bill coming to me regularly and i paid all the bills.

Now suddenly they have sent me the bill considering the usage of the gas according to the new meter installed now and usage as now which comes to rs. 49000

Now i am stuck and dont understand why wasnt meter changed that point itself in 2009 by the company, as it was faulty and even nothing informed tyo us.

This is very severe situation as the company not at all interested about the customer and even safety of their customers with complete ignorance and negligence.

Kindly help on this and suggest way in this

    new connection dahanukar wadi kandivali west

    I had applied for a new gas connection at my residence on 16th june 2018. And last week the concerned person from the mahanagar office visited my residence and they said that they will fit the meter outside the window which i was not comfortable with and asked them to fit the same inside the house. But they said that they will come back again on the next day but did not turn back and neither their no is reachable.

    The technicians came to my flat checked and closed the valve saying there is a leakage n they will come and repair. This is at 1 in afternoon. Upto 5 in the evening nobody came and I found out they are at 7 th floor and went and met them. They said they will come to my flat once they finish but skipped my floor of 5 and went to 4th floor flat 404 and left even without informing me. I am a senior citizen of 66 years and staying alone currently. I am forced to risk falling or other accident and had to open the valve. I request you instruct these technicians to behave responsibly and not leaving rules abiding senior citizens like me to be left in a lurch like this. Kindly ask somebody to attend to the problem on urgent basis. B-502, parikshit bldg., N L complex, Dahisar East.

      Your technicians came today afternoon 1 o'clock and put off the valve saying there is leakage and our technicians will come and repair it. I am senior citizen staying alone currently. I went to the flat where they were doing repairs around 5 o'clock and they said they will come after finishing. But they skipped my 5th floor flat went to a 4th floor flat and left without informing me. Now I am forced to order food from out or take the risk of putting it on by climbing on a stool at the age of 66. I request you to get people attend this as soon as possible and behave with senior citizens with a little more curtsy.

        This regarding my gas connection applied in October 2017 which is in my wife's name Poornima (BP#[protected]). I have not received the connection yet .I have raised multiple complaints regarding the same but no action has been taken. One contractor was assigned to do the job from your side by he never picks the call or his mobile is switched off. i am withdrawing my connection

            I am consumer of Mahanagar Gas pipeline service. I have received a bill on 22 June 2018 which shows assessed meter reading as 96 units and total consumption of 49 units in 2 months. This caused the bill to be charged on a higher slab viz., slab 3.

            The actual consumption is only 17 units and meter reading as of 23rd June 2018 is 64.787 units. I had raised a request with Mahanagar Gas to provide me with the rectified bill on...

            I shri. Rajiv saoba residing at sector-23, seawoods, navi mumbai had applied for mahanagar gas pipeline connection in the year 2015 and a cheque of rs 6250/- drawn dated[protected] was already paid to the company, though other members of our society who had applied for the same was given connection but till this date i. E[protected] i have not been given the connection.
            I have already visited their site office at-siddhant, plot no-291, behind appetite hotel, near nmmc ward office, turbhe village sector-24, navi mumbai for nearly 6-7 times, but everytime assurance was given that the connection will be given within a month or 15 days. My consumer number is [protected].
            I request you earnestly to give me proper justice in this matter.

              Sir we had paid rs 6500/-for gas connection before two years still we don't receive gas connection in mahakavi kalidas heights, katrap rd, nr dr babasaheb ambedkar chawk, badlapur (East), we have already inform to the number given by engineers but they won't cooperate us. The pipeline for nearby soceities and bungalows is almost over before 4 to 5 months so we request you sir on behalf of the society kindly to pay the attention and why yet the connection is not done we are waiting for your early reply for the same our secretary mobile number is [protected] and [protected] pl do needful to us and issue the connection as early as possible otherwise refund our amount to respective members.                 gas connection delay

                My bp no. Is [protected] moneyhas already been deducted. Even after long waiting of 6 months and getting into the hassle of calling your call center guys. Still no respond from your side. My gas connection is still pending.
                Disappointed with mahanagar gas service. Highly irresponsible ppl. Just doing money making business. Close your agency or don't deduct money i[censored] don't give timely service...

                We have paid the charges for the connection on 18/4/17 and were promised to get connection by july 17 till date we have not received any connection and no one has any answer for the same kindly revert asap
                I have been doing contineous follow up with the customer care but the are unable to he lp as no one has any informatiom wht can be done

                  Gas meter reinstallation not yet done of mahanagar gas pipeline bp no. [protected], besides being calling again proper attention is not being given by mahanagar gas: for prakash d patil, torna chs, nerul sector 15, east navi mumbai400706, we are being exploited for domestic gas refitting 7 working days will be required being told which is very long span.
                  To bring to your kind notice that you have printed bharti pandurang makkar on the bill where it should have been BHARTI PRADEEP MAKKAR. kindly correct the name on the bill. Waiting for your response.

                    I have applied for gas pipe connection in fberuary 2018.
                    Its been 4 months but my connection work is not started yet.
                    I paid a amount of 6500 by credit card on february 2018.

                    We have been continuously following up with mgl customer care number but there's no response from them.
                    Since februaryi have been following up with mgl. They kept on giving dates but no action was taken from there side

                      I had made complaint on 21-may-2018 but still action is not taken regarding increase in our bill amount. Again i am telling you that there may be problem in our metre as the consumption of gas is limited in our house. Please look into this situation as early as possible and solve this so that i can proceed to pay the bill.

                        I am quite shocked to receive the gas bill amounting rs. 2093/- against electricity consumption, for the last month at my residence. It is just not possible for me to have used so much consumption in the last month, more so because i was out of station with my family for twenty days and the house was locked. There seems a mistake in noting down the initial reading of the last month
                        Please rectify this mistake so that i can pay the actual amount.

                          I am writing this complaint to inform you that are bill is coming so much anytime especially in this month. Utilization of gas is limited in our house, i had complaint you about this matter earlier but no response was given. I think there is problem in meter or there can be problem in gas line. So please look into this matter and solve as early as possible.

                            We had requested for re-connection of our mahanagar gas pipeline on 13 march 2018. When requested to reconnect, mgl mentioned that there are dues pending which we need to clear before the reconnection happens, even though the house was closed for last 10 years.

                            Since we wanted the connection badly, we paid the dues which was amounting to rs.6654/- on 23 march 2018 and requested for reconnection.

                            Even after paying the due amount mgl took 15 days to do reconnection as it seems there is no connect between their payment and operation departments. After lot of struggle the connection happened on 13 april 2018.

                            Now after all the payments done, i received 2 msgs, first on 3 may 2018 asking for rs.374.6 and on 12 may 2018 asking for rs.2543/-.

                            When checked with mgl customer care, they mentioned that cheque got bounced.

                            After lot of struggle only i got the re-connection after mgl thoroughly checked that all payments are done and now again they are asking for some arrears which are already paid.

                            Please assist.

                              Our scy new roop mahal chs located at mumbai pin 400016 mahim west senapati bapat road. We are trying to get piped natural gas connection for the last ten years. We have visited bandra kurla complex office several times/ written to them several times but so far we did not get gas connection. Our prospectus no. [protected] docket no.2316888. For the last 10 years we are getting replies from mahanagar 1) bmc is not giving permission 2) there is a leakage in the pipline which is to be rectified 3) in this years budget it is not possible. We requested our area corporator ward g/north madame sheetal gambhir to help us and she agreed provided she receives application from mahanagar gas. The society members who are visiting bkc office and are trying to get connection have become senior citizens by now. Can you please look into the matter and help us. Mahanagar gas chief enginner's office is located at grant road landline no.[protected] mr dipak pawar whom we have requested.

                                I have made payment of 295.64 through HDFC PAYZAPP on 9 june 2017 to mahanagar gas limited . Reference no. :[protected].
                                The money was debited from account but mahanagar gas limited didn't received the amount.
                                I called hdfc payzapp and they have confirmed the transaction was successful from there end with Transaction id MVISA[protected]A89C10.
                                I have called 10 to 15 times but every time mahanagar gave me different complaint number.
                                So please see to my problem and reply.
