I have applied for new connection in july-18. I have been issued tax invoice [protected] on 9.8.2018. More than 100 days have passed but no reply. I submitted original flat maintenance at the time application & lady satisfied herself. Then i submit these details regarding residential address at grant road to staff of mr. Madan sir. He is very cooperative. This week again my wife received call from one more person on address matter. It seems the company does not policy to install new connection say in 30 days from realisation of deposit & other dues. It is high time that md of the come reviews this policy if in existence or if it is not there it introduces it. It must introduce accountability policy. The co. Has lost revenue for more than 75 days by not installing new connection. I am shareholder of the company & it means a lot to me. Thanks

    Hi,

    I had applied for a new gas connection for my new apartment. The gas pipeline already exists in the society and needs to be extended one floor into my house. It has been 100 days since i have raised the request and made the payment. But i am still awaiting connection or any response from mahanagar gas.

    I have raised 3-4 complaints on the mahanagar gas helpline but no revert from them.

    I am staying in my house without gas connection since 3 months and we are facing major inconvenience.

    I need this issue to be resolved within a day as i have long waited for it already.

      I have received a debit note from mahanagar gas on 14.09.2018.

      In this note they have mentioned that the earlier meter was not functioning properly, so on basis of their new consumption pattern they have calculated 1.146 scm / day which results into outstanding amount of rs. 27, 760.

      Till now i have paid all my bills regulary. But no idea, on what basis they have calculated 1.146 scm / day.

      If the meter was faulty then why they havent changed the meter in 2014.
      Why they have taken such a long period to resolve their fault.

      Due to their negligence we have facing this issue. The mistake is from their side not from ours.

      We have contacted mahanagar gas, regarding the same but they have ignored to resolve my issue. And they are forcing for the bill payment

        The bill that recieved had assumption amount and meter reading which i informed through message, but no reply from mahanagr gas, and now they want to pay me the panelty as well.
        So now i will have to pay assumption amount + penalty, atleast they should habe sent a message or intimation that your bill will be ajusted later. I was waiting for their reply after getting assumption bill and now they are saying to pay penalty along with assumption bill.

          We requested for new connection in year 2018. We have made the needed payment and also are in touch with mgl fot thre connection also.

          Firstly the enginer told me that it is not feasiable to put gas piepline as my kitchen was coming on other side and as now i have asked him for the full amount of refund he is saying that he will put the gas pipeline connection through my hall.

          Just tell me that how it is possible for anyone to make their room look like a hotel by putting this gas pieline through the hall, who would agree to that..
          As i have asked for the amount full amount of refund, they are now saying that customer is not agreeing to put the gas conncetion and providing me the refund by cutting registration charges.. I want the full refund of rs 6635 nad not rs 5750

          Please help to get the refund for full amount even after doing such follw up...

            I have recived letter from mahanagar gas that my meter was fulty as per their technician who checked in 2009 and didnt informed us and neither changed.

            Now suddenly in 2016 they chaged it without saying any reasons.

            All these there was bill coming to me regularly and i paid all the bills.

            Now suddenly they have sent me the bill considering the usage of the gas according to the new meter installed now and usage as now which comes to rs. 49000

            Now i am stuck and dont understand why wasnt meter changed that point itself in 2009 by the company, as it was faulty and even nothing informed tyo us.

            This is very severe situation as the company not at all interested about the customer and even safety of their customers with complete ignorance and negligence.

            Kindly help on this and suggest way in this

              new connection dahanukar wadi kandivali west

              I had applied for a new gas connection at my residence on 16th june 2018. And last week the concerned person from the mahanagar office visited my residence and they said that they will fit the meter outside the window which i was not comfortable with and asked them to fit the same inside the house. But they said that they will come back again on the next day but did not turn back and neither their no is reachable.

              The technicians came to my flat checked and closed the valve saying there is a leakage n they will come and repair. This is at 1 in afternoon. Upto 5 in the evening nobody came and I found out they are at 7 th floor and went and met them. They said they will come to my flat once they finish but skipped my floor of 5 and went to 4th floor flat 404 and left even without informing me. I am a senior citizen of 66 years and staying alone currently. I am forced to risk falling or other accident and had to open the valve. I request you instruct these technicians to behave responsibly and not leaving rules abiding senior citizens like me to be left in a lurch like this. Kindly ask somebody to attend to the problem on urgent basis. B-502, parikshit bldg., N L complex, Dahisar East.

                Your technicians came today afternoon 1 o'clock and put off the valve saying there is leakage and our technicians will come and repair it. I am senior citizen staying alone currently. I went to the flat where they were doing repairs around 5 o'clock and they said they will come after finishing. But they skipped my 5th floor flat went to a 4th floor flat and left without informing me. Now I am forced to order food from out or take the risk of putting it on by climbing on a stool at the age of 66. I request you to get people attend this as soon as possible and behave with senior citizens with a little more curtsy.

                  This regarding my gas connection applied in October 2017 which is in my wife's name Poornima (BP#[protected]). I have not received the connection yet .I have raised multiple complaints regarding the same but no action has been taken. One contractor was assigned to do the job from your side by he never picks the call or his mobile is switched off. i am withdrawing my connection

                      I am consumer of Mahanagar Gas pipeline service. I have received a bill on 22 June 2018 which shows assessed meter reading as 96 units and total consumption of 49 units in 2 months. This caused the bill to be charged on a higher slab viz., slab 3.

                      The actual consumption is only 17 units and meter reading as of 23rd June 2018 is 64.787 units. I had raised a request with Mahanagar Gas to provide me with the rectified bill on...

                      I shri. Rajiv saoba residing at sector-23, seawoods, navi mumbai had applied for mahanagar gas pipeline connection in the year 2015 and a cheque of rs 6250/- drawn dated[protected] was already paid to the company, though other members of our society who had applied for the same was given connection but till this date i. E[protected] i have not been given the connection.
                      I have already visited their site office at-siddhant, plot no-291, behind appetite hotel, near nmmc ward office, turbhe village sector-24, navi mumbai for nearly 6-7 times, but everytime assurance was given that the connection will be given within a month or 15 days. My consumer number is [protected].
                      I request you earnestly to give me proper justice in this matter.

                        Sir we had paid rs 6500/-for gas connection before two years still we don't receive gas connection in mahakavi kalidas heights, katrap rd, nr dr babasaheb ambedkar chawk, badlapur (East), we have already inform to the number given by engineers but they won't cooperate us. The pipeline for nearby soceities and bungalows is almost over before 4 to 5 months so we request you sir on behalf of the society kindly to pay the attention and why yet the connection is not done we are waiting for your early reply for the same our secretary mobile number is [protected] and [protected] pl do needful to us and issue the connection as early as possible otherwise refund our amount to respective members. [protected], besides being calling again proper attention is not being given by mahanagar gas: for prakash d patil, torna chs, nerul sector 15, east navi mumbai400706, we are being exploited for domestic gas refitting 7 working days will be required being told which is very long span.

                              We have been continuously following up with mgl customer care number but there's no response from them.
                              Since februaryi have been following up with mgl. They kept on giving dates but no action was taken from there side

                                  I am quite shocked to receive the gas bill amounting rs. 2093/- against electricity consumption, for the last month at my residence. It is just not possible for me to have used so much consumption in the last month, more so because i was out of station with my family for twenty days and the house was locked. There seems a mistake in noting down the initial reading of the last month
                                  Please rectify this mistake so that i can pay the actual amount.
