I had been to native place from 14.2.2017 till 19.2, 2017. The gas was locked on 14.2.2017 and meter reading taken as 1743161. Surprisingly, on my return, before opening the lock, the meter reading is showing as 1743304. I or nobody used the gas during this period.
I contacted your customer service on telephone when they asked me to see the reading for one day after closing during night and watch the reading on the next day morning before use. The reading was same as previous day. No consumption showing on that particular day during locked time. Please look into this case, and let us know the reason for the consumption during my absence. Either meter fault or any leakage problem? Please solve this problem immediately. I made a similar complaint during my last tour of absence for 4 months. I paid about rs.8000/- extra for not using the gas.

I paid Rs 6500 plus 750 for PNG connection in May 2016 along with required documents.
No gas connection is given till date and no intimation as to when connection would be given.
I have been issued bills for gas consumption for last 2 months amounting to Rs 1454 (bill no[protected]
This is a clear case of cheating by M/s MGL, I will file a case in Grahak panchayat for holding my deposit money without interest and making bogus demand of Rs 1454 without giving gas connection.
I will also file police case under sec 420 of I P C
In this connection acomplaint was given to M/s MGL by E mail for which there is no response.

In reference to BP No: [protected], I have submitted the depot on 8th Jan 2017. Connection is not so far provided inspite of several followup with Mahanagar Gas Limited. Every time executive answered that it will be provided within 3 months time. Now the 3 months are about to be over but no sign of connection is there. Even they are unable to provide any firm date of connection. I don't now how much time I need to wait and how the Mahanagar Gas works for its customer? It is really irritating and ridiculous. I didn't expect such a poor response from Mahanager Gas.

In spite of my several complaints till date no one has come to do the pipe line connection for the gas in my flat. One person had called last month bearing number [protected] and said he will becoming but never turned up. After two weeks when i called him, he said he never called and asked me not to call him again and asked to call on [protected].in spite of all the efforts nothing is done till date. Connection and Supply of Mahanagar Gas done to Flat No. C-1402 situated at Swapnalok Towers Cooperative Housing Society Ltd; Off Gokuldham Market, Pimpripada, Malad (East), Mumbai-400097.

Regarding the above, there is an ongoing litigation before the Hon’ble City Civil Court at Dindoshi, Mumbai in Court Room No. 2 with respect to the title and ownership of the Flat No. C-1402. The Suit No. is 1154/2014.

The Hon’ble City Civil Court at Dindoshi, Mumbai had passed an interim order directing the Defendants to maintain ‘Status Quo’. That means, no changes, modifications and any other alterations shall be introduced by the Defendants. The copy of the interim order along with my letter dt. 10/03/2017 was sent to MGL (Refer subject).

However, despite the interim order of the Hon’ble City Civil Court at Dindoshi, Mumbai; the MGL Gas Connection and Supply has been taking place to Flat No. C-1402 since last few months.

I call upon you to sever the MGL Connection and Supply to Flat No. C-1402 forthwith as this action is a contempt of Court.

The Swapnalok society is also informed regarding the same.

I manan mehta staying at bhairav shrishti complex, bhayander west, no pipe line for the gas connection is done till date.
One day, we found one letter on our door with the contact person number.
Once he has received the call and promise to come on coming week but after that he was not receiving the call and not came yet for gas pipeline.
It is done to all other members of our society except mine. One evening someone had called that he is coming at 6.30 pm and never turned up till date. Kindly look into and let me know whether it will be done or no.

I have a Gas Connection with Mahanagar Gas and I have been paying my bills regularly for the past 5 years. My bill normally comes to less than INR 300/- for two months. I have paid a Security deposit of Rs 500/- which is already lying with Mahanagar Gas Ltd (MGL) . Recently MGL has billed us for additional security deposit of...

PNG connection Application made on 25 April 2016.
Gasified Building in Chembur, Mumbai.
Tall claims of MGL to provide connections in Gasified buildings within 6 months.
Only about 2.5 months left to complete a year from application date.
Not a single call or email from MGL for connection processing.
Complained Twice earlier to process.
Standard answers:
In process and
Customer executive will call you shortly.
Both answers only verbal- ACTION ZERO.
I hope MGL seniors are aware of what their staff are doing.
GROUND REALITY CHECKS are important unless MGL officers are in DEEP SLUMBER.
I have also noticed NUMEROUS other complaints regarding MGL connection delays on forums.
REQUESTING MGL HIGHER UPS TO TAKE NOTE.

The amount of bill payment is observed to be the same as the previous one though the usage of the stove is comparably less, even when the house is empty for say a duration of one week . And on one comes for meter reading. So in short the amount of bill is very high compare to the usage of the stove which is less and no one comes for meter reading due to which previous months amount is printed in the bill

We had applied for gas pipe line in the month of june 2016 .Mr. Sunil Kahar the marketing representative had given us the Business partnership No. [protected] to [protected] total 21 flat.. each of these had submitted their application with a cheque of Rs. 6500/- in the month of June 2016 itself.
no work carried out till now . kindly do the needful.

I have made written application for providing new meter gas connection at flat no. 1102 tower no 6 at orchard residency chs Ltd at lbs marg behind R city mall Ghatkopar west Mumbai 400086
i have also paid necessary charges for the same. However inspite following the case with customer care since last 7 month the connection is not provided to the said flat. every time they give new date for connection and failed to do so.

I have applied for png service on 26/6/2016. i want to know why the connection is not provided to me till now. At the time of making application i have been informed that the connection will be given within 90 days. I have made various telephone inquiries but no satisfactory response has been received. kindly within 48 hours give me the exact date upto which connection will be provided to me in written otherwise refund the money deposited with you alongwith the interest.

Terrific experience at the mahanagar gas office in kandiwali east- thakur complex.

I (Sunita Kokal) am a resident of kandiwali east-thakur village for past 1 and half year approx. since then my mother (Veena Kokal) has registered for new gas pipeline connection, paid Rs. 6, 200/- duly as charges during the first visit.

The above given docket number has been raised on 29 th december. i have been consistently following since last two months regarding my connection. my building is already connected i had paid my money in july and was informed that i will be getting connection by november .we are in the month of january 2017, whenever i write a letter on my grievances i get a suttle letter that the team is looking in to my complaint and will address shortly.can your good office give me a conctrete date by which my issue will be addressed or every time i have to heaar your standard answer.i was trying to write to your chairman

We informed MGL support team that we have shifted to our new home on 2nd Sept.2016 and since then Gas consumption is NIL ; we were told that Non-consumption charges, may be within INR 100 /- ; but I am surprised to see my bank account entry of ECS payment to MGL as INR 362 on 11th Jan.2017. How, can they charges INR 362, when there is no change of meter Reading since 2nd Sept.2016 till today ?

Despite of many reminders on telephone conversations, visits at miraroad office and many complaints ( Complaint No.2776440) nobody came from Mahanagar Gas Department to install meter for gas connection at my place. I have already registered dated 16/12/2015 and paid amount of Rs.6, 450.00 dated 26/05/2016. We were told that meter installation will be done after 4 months from the date of registration, It has been more than 9 months still no action has been taken by Mahanagar Gas department. I am tired of complaining again and again, now let me know what next to be done?
Kindly take appropriate steps to install meter and provide gas connection at earliest.

Hi,

I lived in Gokul Nagar behind Parekh Nagar S.V.Road kandivali west Mumbai 400067.last week i.e worker from Mahanagar gas started to digged the ground in our society bldg for installation of gas line into our society.

But just because of all such contractor a reputed company like Mahanagar gas may spoil their name in the market why am I saying this is because they started the work at 30th Dec 2016 and completed the installation by 2nd Jan 2017 into our society but leveling the ground and filling the hole they diged has been still been pending as of today.

don't know the reason why but it has created very bad impression about the company just because of all such contractors.

Plz look into this ASAP.
