    I had applied for new gas pipeline connection in may 2016 and paid rs.6, 500/- on 17/05/16. My appln. Form no. Wg/o/29028/2016 and bp no. Is [protected] and registered in the name of mr. Prashant bhoite. Now it almost 6 months but i have still not got my gas connection. The due date given to me as 8/16/2016 has also expired, but still the position is the same. I have made various complaints and contacted the customer care several times. Sir, the whole building premises has the pipe line connection. Only the line has to be extended. When ultimately am i going to get my new connection. Don't you think its high time for getting a new connection. I may be given assistance as to whom should i contact for immediate connection
    I paid the previous months bill and this months bill is added with the last months amoubt please resolve my issue

      I had applied for mgl connection, in a society, which already has gas pipeline. I had applied connection in the month of jan 2016, still there is no response. I have been calling their customer care but every time they register complaint and assure that some one will contact me in 24-48 hrs but no one calls.
      When i will get my connection.
      My complaint no is 2871696
      When i am paying for my CA no.[protected] online payment Bill amount always includes late fees even before due date. I have paid last 2 times & money is not adjusted in next bill.

        1)Complaint ref no.given by MGL. 2823824 & 2823830
        2) Connection requested at Bhandup, LBS Marg, Dreams Coplex on 29/06/2016
        3) Gas connection already available in the complex except my above flats,
        4) Registration, deposits etc are paid 2 -3 years back when the society is formed.
        Attempts were made to get the connection by contacting customer care no more than 10 times but no assured cal back came from them, no definite reply, no feedback.
        5) 2 emails sent but no response of any sort.
        6) I do not understand what to do to get the connection.
        7) They are not giving any information about their higher authority to whom I should contact to get the connection.

          Mahanagar gas contractor came and installed the pipes but did not connect a meter and also didn't give a connection to the main line. The cheque was given on 31/10/15. i.e its almost a year and the work is not completed since then. Approx 250 people had applied and only a hand full got the connections the rest are still awaiting the connections. Even after lodging a complaint (complaint no 2760496) no action has been taken since then

            Hello,

            Mahanagar's contractor people came to my house and installed the meter and pipes, but they didnt connect the same to main line, its already been 2 months now and i have been complain the same to customer care and every time they tell me that somebody from mahanagar gas will connect the line in a weeks time, but after 2 months there's no progress yet.

              New connection delayed - not yet got the connection

              I requested my landlord to apply for a gas connection, which he agreed and applied for on 6th April 2016 with all the necessary documents and payments.                 The payment for previous month (july 2016) are been paid and the proof (bank statement) for the same was given through the e-mail. despite that, current bill is showing the arrears. nobody is replying back the mail and when we call they say that it's in process. it 's been 6 days and complaint has not been carried forward.
                Kindly look in the matter, as the current bill is been issued and i[censored] delay the complaint we will also get delay in the payment of bill then again the arreas.
                Above all the hard copy of bill doesn't reach on time, if it's not on time then it's natural that our bill payment gets delayed. if on finding the soft copy we make payment then we don't have the proof of payment other then bank statement and on given that also the process of carrying the complaint gets tougher?

                  We have been not residing at the apartment since last 4 months but still the bill is getting generated every month and being sent to us for payment. As we are not residing at the residence and since the house is locked out all the time - how or from where the meter guy is noting down the meter reading? How/why the bill getting generated?

                  Customer number is[protected]. Bill amount is rs. 1272. Please rectify this and do not charge us any amount as we are not staying at the residence and not using the gas service.

                  Hoping to hear a positive response with a resolution on this.

But till date no body has reverted about the gas connection.All digging work done and still all sand and stones are lying inside our society. We have contacted your person so many times but not got proper reply.
                    If you are not able to provide the gas connection then refund me the money along with intrest. Else will file complaint o[censored] in consumer court.
                    Your action is needed on urgent basis. If not we can go ahead with consumer court.

                      I had applied for piped gas connection at my residence. My buliding is already gassified and several members of our housing society have the piped gas connection.
                      My application date is 22/05/2016. Full payment was made as per prerequisite condition of application.
                      Application number is wg/0/29221/2016,
                      Till date there is no response from mahanagar gas.
                      I am very surprised since since last two years government is requesting people to forgo the subsidy on lpg cylinders and here the alternative suppliers are not taking any adequate measures.

                        I have booked a new connection in a gasified building in april 2016. the security deposit has been paid on 20 apr'16. i was initially given the installation date as 10 jun'16 which did not happen. thereafter, post a numerous followups, the date provided was 20 aug'16. obviously, on that day also no one came for installation of the pipeline.
                        As on date, i have been following up incessantly and every time the call centre employees provide only one feedback.. i am putting this on high priority and you will get a revert within 7 working days.
                        When enquired that provide me a feedback on the followup requests made on the previous calls, the executive on call says.. system is not showing up any details. when asked for the escalation contact point, they just provide the customercare id - [protected]@mahanagargas.com.
                        I don't understand why can't they provide a proper status of the connection to the customers. there is no clarity at all. there is no mail / letter / sms anything informing / expressing regret about delay in the connection.

                          We had submitted a request for gas connection on 2 May 2016 for our flat in Vashi, Navi Mumbai and were told that we would receive the connection on 1 Aug. However, we were informed by the customer care executives at Mahanagar Gas that the connection would be available on 15 September owing to meter shortage. However, now the customer care executives are saying that the connection would be further delayed and would be available only by 15 October which is highly unacceptable. Please note that we were not informed in advance regarding the shortage of meter availability. Also, the pipeline gas connection is available in the entire building. I fail to understand the delay in providing the connection just for a single flat when the connection is available in all the flats. Please reply. My BP no: [protected]

                            We had registered for mahanagar gas pipeline last year sometime in June 2015 however we have not yet received the pipeline connection.

                            The pipelines have been laid since long but no connection at home. Twice the employes of M.G. visited our house to survey. But they just left without any discussion.                               We had made payment to mahanagar gas last year sometime in June 2015 however we have not yet received the pipeline connection.

                              The pipelines have been laid since long but no connection at home. We even received a letter from mahanagar gas in mar 2016 stating that there is a delay but soon the connection will be made. We lodged complaint too but no use. The customer care says it will be done by end of September.

                              My first question is: why is the process not made clear to the consumer? Its really annoying because no one knows exactly when will the completion happen !!

                              Secondly, the customer care says as soon as the payment reaches them, the connection is done within 3 months. If we get a confirmation letter in March that means before june the process should have ended !! However when we lodge a complaint they say it will be done by end of September 2016.

                              I would like to know what is being done here. Pls explain the correct process to us. And we need a sureity that there will definitely be a connection by Sep.

                                  In feb i have paid the bill up to units 131
                                  Though i paid i am getting and paying bills for use up to 113 and 123 units from last two bills.

                                  Team,

                                  I have applied for gas connection on 11th feb 2015, almost 8 months back are completed and there is no update on my gas connection. I am calling customer care since last 6 months but there is no progress on my case.
                                  Connecting to customer care atleast take 1 hour which is an additional irritation of my problem.

                                  Even after so much waiting they talk very rudely and don't give any reason for delay.

                                  There is no call, no email from mahanagar gas. This is really frustrating. I had already visited there branch office twice still they are not giving any reply to my concern.

                                    Sir, my bp number [protected], they taken all money well in advance for new connection, & promise for june end, in written they says it will do by july-16, now as on today 22.8.16, still not any progress, customer care service not ready for register complaint, they says give us request, why we request them? Why they r not reply by phone call? When we get connection? If any time we pa payment delay then charges for let payment, now who will charge them for this service? If they r not capable to finish work as they written then why take all amount in advance?
