    I got letter and BP number from Mahanagar Gas- Mumbai office in August and in the letter it was mentioned that the Piped Gas connection will be finished by Oct 2015. Till now the work is not done and I called their call center, Bandra Head Office at last 7-8 times but the reply was your complaint is under process. My security deposit cheque is also cleared but until now no action taken on the same. My BP number is [protected] and complaint number is: 2491608

      I have applied for Mahanagar Gas Ltd. Mumbai pipeline connection, through an agency. There has been no response of any kind even after more than 4 months having elapsed. I haven't even received a cust.relship no. Agency: Sarvoday Entp. appl no. AF 002518/1314 Agent: A. M. Pednekar RRF control no. [protected] paid vide ch.no.000009 HDFC Bank, dtd 31/7/2015 for Rs.6250.

        This is to inform regarding the delay in connection of gas meter, where mahanagar gas has asked me to submit the cheque against meter. It's been more than a month, now they are saying tentative date of connection will be 31st Jan 2016, Since the line is already installed till kitchen & it is activated too. It should not take so long just to make the connection from meter to gas stove. If it is going to take such long period so why you guys are taking money in well advance of 3 months, are you going to pay interest on that money for the period you are having the same. My concern is to get the connection as early as possible, otherwise pay my money back & will give you the cheque befor a week when you are going to install the same.           Hi, MGL BP no. [protected]. complaint no.: 2354294 - last called them[protected] on[protected] Applied for connection in May'2015. They said, keep chasing us using the above BP no. for all issues till eternity and thats exactly whats happening. Promised pathatic service and thats what i m getting. Once a complaint number is generated, issue will be solved. Ha Ha Ha Ha! 1. Every time i call the number, the automated help line will verify my BP number before connecting me to the call centre 'customer service executive' for assistance. The person then would verify the number again because he cant proceed otherwise. Big help from CSE! 2. Since May'15, i have called more than 5 times to hear my BP number re verified twice by the automated system n the CSE-gentleman that i end up talking too. This gentleman has never said anything beyond that every effort is being made to get me a connection and i need to have patience. -He says he has no information, -He has no access to information, -He cant take this to any level and cant escalate the issue, -He cant pass the call to a supervisor and all He can do is update the system about my call ? All this callcentre exec. can do is update the systems ? Mahanagar gas is semi govt body using taxpayer's money to pay these call center guys and make money for themselves. -The call centre guys r dummies to drain our tax money ?? -Seems there is big racket in here and some politician has a stake in the call centre which is a way to make money for himself and drain the taxpayer. Coming to my point of no connection till date: I have paid the money and there is Zero follow up frm the mahanagar gas about the service they promised me. My every follow up call is being reverted by another false promise, hope with no follow up of the last call. More than 8 months, situation never changed. The global metropolitan mumbai in 2015 is in a total apathy and sorry state. How do i raise this to Mr. Devendra Fadnavis who himself has been ripped multiple times on Times Now by Arnab Goswami? - Comment for Mr. CM: Your team in govt. is bunch of shameless sink of taxpayers money. please dont call yourself politician. Call yourself a bunch of cheats working with the single minded objective to loot and cheat people and serve none but themselves. In case your colleague or yourself has a stake in Mahanagar gas, start diluting it now. Make it fast. please My next mail would be to News channels. I am seriously considering to file an RTI and later take the Media help. If i win a case against mahanagar gas, not monetary compensation please, I want the head of Mahanagar gas to be fired immediately and i want to personally slap him in front of his staff on his last official day. This is utter non sense and a gross gesture of a common customer taken for granted. With no regards whatsoever for this low self esteem team at mahanagar gas Vash, [protected]

              Pipeline already there in my house only the Meter need to be connect. So, I have logged the complaint to Mahanagar GAS regarding Meter Connection. They have giving excuses every time. I am suffering this issue from June 2015. But no one responding to me.

                Delay pipeline new gas connection

                I have applied for the new gas line connection in and have paid Rs.6250/- via net payment, in the name of Mr. Dinesh Jagdish Ramteke, Hiral Green, Near Rose Garden, sidhivinayak nagar, mira road ( East), Mumbai (M) 401107 I have made many calls to customer care various times. But till date my connection is pending. It is more than8 months passed, the connection is not being given to me. I am given only assurance that the line will be connected...

                Since 4 months I did not received Bill. I tried contacting then through email about my bill but they don't even bother to reply. Later I got busy with my work so I forgot tht i have not received Bill on time. I got Bill now after 5 months and they charged me late payment charges of Rupees 106/- and now they r not helping me. CONSUMER no:[protected] BP no: [protected] These guys r cheating the customers and when I called them now and sent them email they said they will get back to us but now it's due date and they did not reply me and forcibly now I have to pay the charges or else next time again they will charge me interest.                   Hi,
                  I Gaurav Gupta (MGL BP no. [protected]) had applied for a domestic gas connection on 24th May 2015, though promised that the connection will take a maximum of 90 days for installation( as suggested by their website and call representatives)I till date have received no calls or information as to why the connection has not been done till date. It has been over 6 months now.

                  I had called several times to the customer service number - but the call becomes a waste of time as they only give a variety of reference numbers and moreover mis-leading information that that the connection will come in the next 10 days.

                  Today( 06.11.15) when I called the customer care number, the rep informed me that the connection will be done in the month of January next year as the meters had shot circuited. If this was true then how did the earlier rep gave me wrong, misleading and non factual information even being a govt. body?? This is Fraud. If the govt. Body lies then whom should we go to now?

                  Why is that MGl has been lying about its services to a common man who has paid the money for application and been taken for granted.

                  I Dont know what to do now but i am seriously considering to file an RTI and later take the Media help.

                  This is utter non sense and a gross gesture of a common customer taken for granted.

                    I had registered a request for new png connection on 31st Aug 2015 for already gasified bldg.Had paid the installation amount of Rs 6250/- also on the same date.However despite several calls n emails the customer care refuses to let us know the expected date of connection ...its been 3 months already.also they do not reply on emails...have been told that there is a delay in connection due to some other pending work of theirs ...

                      Pl note work for Mahanagar Gas pipeline had commenced a month back in our building at Shanti Heights, Plot no.2, 3, 9B, 10 in both wings ( A & B ) . Pipelines have been installed in some flats and meters are also fixed. But in my flat at A wing 502, internal pipelines connection and meter fixing is not yet done. Request you to complete the pipeline fixing work asap. Pl call me on my mobile number [protected] to fix timing as me & my wife both are working and will not be available on week days . Saturday can be done.

                        It is a harrowing experience with Mahanagar Gas contact centre. Inspite of logging a call 7 days before no one has come to refit the gas pipe. First call logged on 30th Sep and received a ticket number. When I chased on 2nd October I was told request is being forwarded. When I called on 3rd I was told call is logged only on 2nd October which is incorrect and they do not have reference of the ticket first raised. Each time I am just told 7 days time. On 5th October 15 when I call back I am told they have no trace of the original ticket and first ticket is logged on 2nd so the end date is 9th October. Extremely callous contact centre with no process / procedure or escalation matrix in place. We are just left at their mercy. I am not sure if they are going to again state teh same thing that complaint is logged on 5th and quote another 7 days. It was a big mistake to have mahanagar gas connection

                          Mahanagar gas, sent me an inflated bill for sept, with arrears and penalty for non-payment of July Bill(bi-monthly) Inspite of 5000 debited to my account for VDS ON 25 JULY 2015.chq no.20520. Several phone calls to various persons ( not toll free) were not fruitfull.They insisted on proof ( scanned copy) I am a Senior Citizen, and had to go to a cyber cafe to do the needful Am awaiting a response from them. Proof was sent 24th Sept. No acknowledgement till date. Is it safe to send detials of my bank account to staff of Mahanagar gas co.? When they are so inefficient with billing and advertise blatantly to opt for VDS and cannot cope? Besides the newspapers reports of various persons posing as staff, are a forces to be investigated

No. [protected] Bill no.[protected] date.24/08/15 C.A.[protected] The bill referred above for consumption of 68 scm is not agreed to us since it is four times then the regular consumption. Please check on this as I am very upset with such kind o[censored]nfair amount, kindly look into this and send me the fair amount of my bill. As per my previous consumption in April 2015 it was Rs. 591 and for June 2015 it was 18 scm which shows bill of Rs.471 then how suddenly it is possible a consumption of 68 scm in Aug 2015 which is Rs.1818 this is impossible please correct it We await for your earlier action.                               Mahanagar gas has an a very incorrect way of billing 1st they bill on estimated bills and inspite of sending them screen shots and sending photos of the gas meter they still bill on estimated basis. Today on the 04/09/15 they sent someone by the name sunil.P. To collect the bill amount rs 1286 which was not due untill the 14/09/15 and while i was away on my duty at work he went to my house and the man was very adamant he spoke in a very rude manner with my wife demanding money .This kind of treatment is highly unacceptable in the last 9 years i have never ever been late in paying my gas bills and today they send someone to my house for collecting amount rs 1286 how pathetic is this that too when the payment is not even due untill the 14/09/15 i am going to update all possible media and sources to let people know how bad is my experience with mahanagar gas .

                                Regarding higher billing this month

                                Everytime we get bill of app rs 100 for our gas connection but this time we got bill of rs 595.00 which is not at all acceptable as we do not have large use of gas at our home. Request to look into this and help in getting the issue solved....

                                I am an existing customer of MGL and since years Most of the time (80%) I get my bill on assumption basis. My complaint no is 2412867 . I am always at home but I could hardly see their reader visited my premises and not even any yellow paper(which they say they use to put at door when someone is not at home) . previously also I complained in Dec 2014 but again same thing is happening. i spoke to their customer care executive he said to file complaint in consumer court because he is not able to answer and its their policy they bill every second bill on assumption basis. My CA no. is [protected] if you could take any action against it. It will be really helpful for me and other customers too. If you could arrange call back from them because customer care response is very poor.

[protected] CA no.[protected] Bill no.[protected] Bill date 05/07/15 Dear sirs, The above bill received by me yesterday shows an outstanding amount of Rs. 556.03 containing delayed payment charges of Rs 109.03. i am unable to understand how delayed charges have been billed when all payments as per bills received by me have been paid much before the due dates. The last bill before the present bill( bill no.[protected] dated 05/03/15 for Rs. 428) was paid on17/3/15. In between no bill was received although the present bill shows arrears consumption charges of Rs. 397.34. No bill was received by me for these consumption charges. I would request you to look into the above and also inform me the basis for showing arrears without sending the bill and without my receiving the same. Thanking you, Jawahir Lal Zutshi P.S.
