From last 04/09/2009 onwards MGL persons regularly drops gas hard copy bill against CA No[protected]Meter No.[protected] to my flat(78/6)



and based on that I regularly done online payment thru' MGL website for CA No[protected]Meter No.[protected]



Now yesterday first time I received MGL pending bill of Rs 6126 /- against CA No[protected]Meter No.[protected] from that it clears that since last



two years onwards I have done wrong payment against other residing flat due to the confusion between current flat nos.- 78/3 and 78/6 earleir Flat no- 5 & 6 and



flat no- 11 & 12 respec.



So now as per todays discussion with you ,I request you to refund me all amount from date 04/09/2009 to till date against already wrong payment done for other residing



flat No 78/3,Godrej Creek side colony,Vikhroli (E) having CA No[protected]Meter No.[protected] BP No- [protected] .



So pl. do the needful for same as based on this only I can take corrective for doing actula payment for CA No[protected]Meter No.[protected]

    We at Flat No104,Radium Annexe CHS,Shreyas Colony, Off Aarey Road,Goregaon (East),Mumbai 400063.have applied for a new piped gas connection at Mahanager Gas Limited. and paid the relevant booking amount also(Rs.5500/-)We received a Unique Docket Number-[protected] Ref No: MGL/MKT/CRN/74313. Our application form number is 006277/1112.
    Even after a number of times of follow up , we are not getting any response for the new connection. In a last mail dated 8th october 2011 from their side, they had promised to install the new connection by 18th Oct 2011 anyhow.But now 18th of Oct 2011 has also passed away and there is no response from them at all.
    My old parents are staying on this address and they are suffering because of this non availability and delay.Now the latest docket number given by MGL is 870081 & BP No. is [protected].
    How long I will keep getting such docket numbers only? And what's the use of them??
    All we want is the new connection and that too IMMEDIATELY NOW.That's our right !
    Please help us!

    Mr. Keshav Patki is a cheater himself. He has fooled, robbed & cheated many people (Including his parents & wife) in his life and he deserves everything bad happening to him.

    This is just the begining patki.

      Dear Sir,

      This is regarding the new connection which we have applied in the name of Suresh Sundaram. The application was filled in by the agent of Mahanagar Gas on 13.06.2011. A cheque of Rs.6000/- was handed over to him as application fee and it was promised that the connection would be provided to us within 90 days. The mahanagar Gas is already available in other flats in our Society i.e. Mahindra Park Co-operative Housing Society, Ghatkopar (W). The cheque was debited in our account on 22.06.2011. Even after 120 days, no body at Mahanagar Gas is taking the responsibility to respond as to how much time it will take for the connection. We have been harrased by calling on the customer care and everytime a new BP number is given. What is the use of giving a complaint number when it is not to be solved. Such a pathetic service is being given for providing a new connection. You approach for marketing when you are not able to cater to customers who willingly want to take your services.

      In case, no response is given to the complaint please refund the amount alongwith interest.

        New Connection - waiting for 6 months

        1) I had raised request on MGL site on 1st Feb’11.
        2) I followed up with MGL Kandivali office on last week of Mar’11. They gave me the number of one Mr. Rane.
        3) When I spoke to him, I was told it is closing time, hence cannot attend, we are very busy.
        4) Person has finally come to my place on 22nd May’11 to fill the form
        5) Payment is collected on 22nd May'11 for the PNG connectionbr...

        My BP No. [protected] - Ref # 744341 / 735747 / 742418 / , I have following complaint regarding bill #[protected]

        1) I had received bill for Mar'11 stated amount payable as zero assuming there is no consumption of gas. This is really not acceptable as we have never communicated that from Jan'11-Mar'11 we will not consume gas.
        2) Also as per Mahanagar Gas Ltd (MGL) system billing is done on the basis of (2 months assumption billing & next 2 months actual consumption billing), Mar'11 bill should be charged to us on assumption basis / actual consumption basis.
        3) We dint informed this to MGL considering the fact that we will receive May'11 bill as per actual meter reading and old price.
        4) Surprisingly upon receipt of May'11 bill on 1st June'11 we realized the rate has been revised slab wise
        5) Also Mar'11 Bill showed previous reading 2098 (A) units on 25th Jan'11 and 2098 units on 25th Mar'11 (how come there is no consumption for these 2 months).
        6) May'11 bill again shows previous reading as 2098 and current reading as 2177 on 25th May'11 (79 units consumed in 2 months)
        7) Looking into past consumption records and above facts, our average 2 months consumption is 38 units, hence we have requested MGL to take into consideration 38 units out of 79 units as consumed between Jan'11-Mar-11 and balance 41 units as consumed between Mar'11-May'11
        8) Accordingly arrange for revised Bill as per above facts, as the existing bill is charged on prorata basis assuming consumption of 79 units between Mar'11-May'11
        9) Also the complaint # / reference # is changing everytime I send reminder mail.
        10) I had sent my 1st mail on 4th June’11 and till now I have sent 10 mails but not received any feedback yet, hence I have sending this mail to you.

          I have duly applied for Mahanagar Gas connection for home cooking purpose since last 2 yrs and have already paid the fees for the same in given time. Inspite the connection has comissioned in our area 2months back, still my residential connection has not been comissioned since last 2 months. The crossed cheque amount paid to MGL has been debited from my account, but MGL denies the payment made and do not respond to multiple follow ups made by us.

            I have applied for fresh connection of MGL Piped gas on 9th February 2011 and was promised that the connection will be provided to my home within 90 days. There is no response from MGL and I have not heard from them. The guy who took the cheque says he from marketing and now I have to call up their customer care. The customer care executive Sunil Pawar says that the registration was done in March 2011 despite the cheque dated 8th feb, 2011.

              Mahanagar gas has increases rates from Rs 17.82 / SCM to Rs 30.12 / SCM for daily consumption of 0.8 SMC / 1.2 SCM respectively

              The notification of this was given in times of India dated 15.4.11

              This effectively means that rates for use of MGL gas per month at daily consumption of 1.2 SCM will now cost Rs 1120 instead of Rs 663

              On enquiry with MGL helpline this rate is effective from 1st of April 11 which is very very unfair as customers have not been notified before increase of rates and neither this is available on MGL website as on 18.4.11. The notification was given in times of India on 15.4.11 only

              Will the concerned authorites let us know why they are taking their customers for granted that they will accept all increase in rates and that also without prior notification

                I have written to consumer forum about Mahanager Gas connection delay over 10 months and I got reply from Mahanagar Gas Limited, asking details on providing the details, they returned saying your complaint has been forwarded to the concerned dept, on later follow up I got the details that the work will be completed by 15 April 2011, in mean time all the other members of the building followed up with Thane lewiswadi, the workmen used to come and sleep in compound and go and we got letter from MGL the work is completed, we followed up saying nothing has been done again the workmen started coming and when they were sleeping we did not allow them to sleep and then they did partial work and still the work is pending for the final installation, now again follow up I get the support letter saying your complaint has been forwarded, some sort of joke the support dept is a courier service without resposibilty, when we were in the office we found there was mission statement and it seemed MGL is ISO certified but on request for customer feedback form it was not provided so how come MGL is ISO certified, the Govt of India should look MGL is in scam like the 2G where it has taken license and outsourcing the job and then tellling the consumers we have labour problem, if MGL cannot support then the license should be immediately terminated so other companies can take over.

                  I filled CNG in my car on 05/04/2011 from kandiwali (e), the meter showed Rs.107 and they demanded for Rs.110. However i did not pay extra.
                  On next day i purposely filled CNG from the same outlet and they demanded Rs 2 extra, once again i did not pay. But now one of the employee started talking rubbish with me.
                  They take Rs 2 to 5 extra from most of the cars and in that way their daily illegal income becomes Rs.500 assuming they fill minimum of 100 cars everyday.
                  So it ios my sincere request to you that take the require action as soon as possible.

                    I had paid Rs. 6,000.00 wide cheque No. 851399 dated 12.12.2010 and the same had been cleared from my bank on 20.12.2010 for New Gas Connection, attached application form cum reciepts no. AF036264/1011 for yr ref. But still today nobody come to connect the line, even I personnel met the Mira road Branch and called everyday from last two months but nobody give proper reply.

                      Charging Delayed Payment without any Reason

                      I am a customer of Mahanagar Gas Ltd in Mumbai, and has regularly paid their bills.
                      I had received the excess bill for the month of February 2011 from Mahanagar Gas Ltd for about 2500/-. Immediately I placed the complaint through phone to their customer service. There after I received the revised bill of Rs 256.00 for February 2011 with a due date of[protected].
                      I made the payment via cheque dated[protected] well in advance...

                      No connection after payment should someone investigate MGL for spam like 2G

                      I have already written a complaint on this forum and I got reply from the MGL Support that they have forwarded the complain to the concerned dept, and surely the next day digging was started for 15minutes and supervisors left, later the workers left after next 15 minutes, that shows MGL was just showing it is doing work and then no one reporting again.

                      From the way the work is going it is observed MGL must have got the licences...

                      Dear Sir,
                      This is to bring to your kind attention that I have been billed excessively for the month of December 2010. My Bill Amt. is Rs.4,562.

                      I am a Senior Citizen and am very well aware of the consumption / usage of gas for my household purposes / daily chores. The billing for the preceding months is a testimony to the above stated fact.

                      I am not in a position to pay such an exorbitant amount that rightfully and genuinely doesn’t belong to me.

                      I am not interested in the rectification being done in the next bill wherein the units will be reversed & accordingly rectified bill shall be generated & dispatched subsequently as per my billing cycle. I will not be paying the requisite amount as being a senior citizen I am not in a position to do so. Besides the said bill doesn’t belong to me.

                      It was clearly communicated to me by your customer care staff that within a week’s time duly rectified bill will be despatched at my address. I have not yet received the same. I reaffirm that I will not be hesitant even remotely to discontinue my connection with you if you don’t send me the proper rectified bill.

                      Due to gross negligence on your part you have send us an inflated bill for Rs.4,562. I request you to cancel the present bill and send us the rectified bill immediately to enable us to pay the rectified amount before the due date i.e. 24/01/2011.

                      Again I would also like to point out that nobody from your side had turned up for meter reading for the last so many months.

                      Thus, I being a Senior citizen should not be punished for no fault of mine.

                      Please treat this matter as MOST URGENT.My average bill in the past has merely been in the range of Rs.250-400 or so.

                        Sir/ Madam,
                        This is in reference to your dispatched bill for the month of November 2010, which is much higher, as such I address you this letter to you as fallows:
                        1. The bill stands in the name of my father Mr. Ram Lalit Brijraj Pandey and I am staying with my father, and availing/Consuming your service of PNG.
                        2. Since beginning of the PNG Connection when I have not got any bill from your side even after passing of five to six months then I personally enquired to your Bandra office and came to know that the due to incomplete address you are sending my bill some where else. Then I rectify the mistake and subsequently received the Bill of Rs. 889/- which I have paid and received the acknowledgement in your next Bill.
                        3. Subsequently, I have got the Second bill amounting to Rs.381/-, for the month of January 2010, which I have paid on 17.02.2010 and time meter reading was 93A.
                        4. After that, I have got another bill for the month of Rs. 1619/- which I have avoid to pay as the bill was to much high and made complaint to tour office. Later, I got Bill for the moth of May, 2010 amounting of Rs. 407/- which I have paid on 28.05.2010 before the due date, that time the meter reading was 119.
                        5. Subsequently, I have received one bill which I have not paid because my query was pending in respect of the higher bill and after that I have received another bill for the moth of September, 2010 amounting of Rs. 1184/-. Kindly note that the September month bill I have received after the due date hence the bill not been pain as I was awaiting another bill for payment. The meter reading was 189 A in the month of September, 2010.
                        6. Subsequently, two days before on 4th December, 2010, I have received the Bill amounting to Rs. 3125/- which is much, much higher. Kindly note that the my family consist of only four members two adults and two small kids below six years old. Just think, if bill for four months came Rs.1184/- and after two months bill increases three times more.
                        7. Kindly note that, I am an Advocate by profession and every time I never get time to see such small tings but here the questions of failure of system and mechanism. I further state that either you are deliberately sending more bills or sending bill just an assumption.
                        8. It is pertinent to note that, since beginning of the PNG Connection, your man came to take meter reading only two times till date but came to collect the cheque so many times. Kindly note that, when my family consists eight members that time I was using cylinder and that one cylinder I consume one and half months, it means if I was using one cylinder that time the Expenses on one of Rs. Nearly 300/- and when my family consist only two adult two kids, the bills are coming so much high. It means that either you are not functioning proper or your mechanism is fail.
                        9. Similarly, I made complaint some months before for and on behalf of my neighbor Mr. Vijay Jadhav. In his case, he got the bill of Rs. 2500/- only for two months and after making complaint you send bill of Rs. 500/- after rectification. It itself shows you are sending bill carelessly and just based on assumption.
                        10. In this way, I am not expecting any better service to your kind selves but at least send proper bills. Inspite of this, in my surroundings, most of the person cut the connection of PNG due to higher bill and inadequate service and most of the society refuse to take the connection of the PNG.
                        11. Lastly, in this premise, I once again request you and remind you, kindly look into this matter at the earliest and try to improve your inadequate systems. I further state that every time I don’t have time to do only these work to remind you and make complaint in respect of the same. Otherwise, I shall constrain to take legal action against you before consumer forum at your own costs.

                          1. May Units (20) Rs 272
                          2. Jul Units (24) Rs 364
                          3. Sept (17) Bill should be much less than Rs 939(incorrect invoice)

                          I am a senior citizen aged 64 years.
                          In my flat the meter is installed by MGL and pipe line is brought up to flat 2 months back. The connection from the VALVE to the GAS STOVE is not made by MGL.Despite dozens of reminders and follow up with the concerned person Mr.Dinesh no action is taken only promises are given.
                          All payments to the MGL are already made.
                          Kindly help me solve the problem.

                            I am a senior citizen aged 64 years.
                            In my flat the MGL has fitted meter 2 months back but the final connection between the VALVE and GAS STOVE is not yet done.For last two months I have been reminding them. One Mr. Dinesh comes and inspects and promises to do the needful in 2-3 days and then vanishes! All their payments are already made.
                            Kindly help me in getting the connection.
