I have been chasing with the mseb office in mumbra from past two years. The meter reading had shown 100% fast reading since march 2015 until october 2015. The bill shows the amount of over rs. 2 lakhs. The old meter was replaced and my average reading was taken as 182 per month which was quite excessive than the normal consumption. The electricity bill was still not corrected. Later, i complained to the mseb office on the high meter reading on the replaced meter. They checked from their end and changed the meter reading to 120 per month mentioning the replaced meter also shows high reading. The replaced meter has gone faulty and is showing faulty meter reading of 244 for the last 3-4 months. Please be advised that i have already paid over rs. 30000/- since march 2015 (More than what should be actually paid). The electricity company has been sending bills including interest of around 2500 every month for the bill amount which has not been corrected yet. The total electricity bill has reached to rs. 241880 till october 2016.in protest, i am not going to pay any further money to mseb for the overcharged bill until my bill is corrected and then only the meter is replaced. Please let me know if i anything is needed to get my electricity bill corrected. Please help!
