MSEB - has issued huge bill of Rs. 35,650 for the month of February 2023 and MSEB officer is threatening

I have received a bill of Rs. 35, 650 for the month of February. I called the online helpline number to complain (Request Id:[protected] they said the previous bills paid were not aggregated so the bill will be reduced and for meter checking, I need to submit a written application to the sub-division office.
I would like to bring to your notice that my previous bills are in the range of Rs. 250 to Rs. 300 because I do not stay at this property and do not have heavy electricity-consuming appliances like AC etc.
I received a call from Mr. Roshan Satinge from MSEB from mobile no: [protected]. He mentioned that I need to make the payment or else I will have to face power disconnection. He shared 2 videos on WhatsApp stating that the meter is already checked and it has only 2% error which is nominal and which means the power is consumed and I need to pay the full amount.
I never made an application for checking the meter then how did Mr. Roshan Satinge remove the meter from my property in my absence and checked it?
I suspect that the meter was rigged by Mr. Roshan Satange. When I asked him whether there is any other way I can raise a complaint then he very rudely asked me to check for myself and said that my complaint would not be accepted as it is not MSEB's fault.
I tried to explain to Mr. Roshan Satinge that I have made all the payments till January 2023 within a week of bill generation or prior to the due date and have never defaulted but this time it is a matter of investigation and I will not be able to pay such a huge amount for the electricity I never consumed. Mr. Roshan Satinge very rudely responded that he doesn't have time and I can do what I want at the end I will have to pay the bill.
I request you help me in investigating the matter to the core as Mr. Roshan Satinge has threatened me with a power disconnection and further actions.
I have come to know from other consumers that this is a common issue in the area where closed houses are targeted and given huge electricity bills and Mr. Roshan Satange starts harassing them.
If I pay the bill now then next time if I am in the same situation then I will be given an example of my current situation I had consumed so many units in the past and paid the bill and will have to pay it again.
I am reaching out to you in goodwill that the matter will be investigated and my previous consumption and current consumption will be checked and the February 2023 bill will be regenerated with the correct units and payment amount.
Looking forward to your support to get the bill corrected.

May payment was credited to bdgpay.
However, the MSEB, the bill receiving company complained that they DID NOT RECEIVED BILL PAYMENT which is already debited from my account.

Incorrect billing
The company has been incorrectly billing me for the past 3-4 bills. The photo taken by them clearly shows the meter reading. In spite of that they are billing on past average consumption which is very high compared to my current consumption. I have raised the issue with them twice and they are still billing me in the same way.

Hello Sir/Ma'am,
Complaint Consumer ID is[protected], Billing Unit Code is 2127 (BALHARSHAH URBAN SDN) and our meter is Low Tension Line (LT Connection). We are residence of Maharashtra State. So we are the consumer of MSEDCL Company. Name of Consumer is Late SMT SAKUBAI PADGILWAR. I am her grandson Rushabh Dhananjay Padgilwar. Due to our electric meter is faulty, It is not showing proper reading sometime it shows excessive reading and sometimes it shows the readings which is not visible properly to the eyes so reading taker person capture the photo of that reading and assume as per their convenience . This has been happening for the last 7 month. And In the First 3 month, No one was staying in that house, still we were paying the rent of 600 to 700. After 3 months new Tenants (Kiraydaar) are came in that house and the bill increases every month. If this is happening in every month how the tenant will stay in my house. My dad complained about this in the MSEDCL OFFICE in BALLARSHAH (Pin Code- 442701), but they said that the meter has been out of stock from last 6 months, so you have to buy it yourself from the market. The cost of meter in market is[protected]RS and fitting charges are different. I tried to register a complaint on the website of MSEDCL Company so many times, but there is some error on the site while registering the complaint. I also tried all three helpline numbers for complaints but 2 of those numbers are already disconnected and 1 is always busy if in case the call is forwarded to assistant then just ignore the calls. I am tired of this problem now. I tried every [censored]ing way to register complaint. I also mailed them on their helpline Email ID. but they didn't give any response. HELPLINE NUMBERS FOR COMPLAINTS are [protected], [protected], 1912 and [protected]@mahadiscom.in is the HELPLINE EMAIL ADDRESS. All are useless. Now I don't know what to do, please help me to solve this problem in any way if possible. This month bill of that house is 3, 210 RS. Tenants who stays in that house is Labor, how can they use 311 Unit of electricity in single month. They already pays extra bills from last 2 months. But in this month, the bill amount is too high. They are refused to pay. And if they're refusing to pay the bill, then we have to pay that bill because we are the owner of house. And We can't also pay so much bill, please help us. I will attached this month light bill photos and readings photos and last month reading photos for your reference (to identify the photos of which month, I mentioned the name of photos. I HOPE YOU WILLN'T IGNORE THIS LIKE MSEDCL COMPANY IGNORES.

From Last 1.3 year they are giving me average bills

I stay in PCMC and my meter number / Cu number for meter is[protected].From last 1.3 years MSEDCL is giving me average bills every month. I have visited their office 20-25 times and every month I ask them to
remove faulty status of meter which they have put which causes average reading monthly. I have given them 4-5 VR's till date. Every month they say from next month you will get proper readings. But till date there is only false promises. This has resulted me to pay extra dues as monthly I use to get average 203 reading bills and my consumption was of 500 readings. So 300 units bill used to be due. So now I am paying extra due+32000 bill (accumulated total) which company did not detect. I am telling them every month that do not send me average reading but the lady worker in thermax chowk, Msdecl office every month says you'll get it from next month. Also they do not care about customer. They treat them as if they are doing some favours on customers. every month I need to leave from my work to visit their office to tell the lady I have got average bill this month also. I visisted river resendancy office in Moshi PCMC where I asked them to change the meter if they think there is fault in meter but they say there is no fault in meter ask the person who sits in thermax office(their another branch) to remove faulty status

High bill Charge in last 3 months

Twice bill paid but company not refunded nor adjested in bill

I had visited mseb office of virar east, taluka vasai jilha palghar for refunding about by mistekenly bill gets paid twice but they refused and nor they adjested, they had informed me that they will adjest it but not adjested in bills for consumer no[protected] date of incident of bill paid twice is 20 March 2021 paid bill of rs 2620 and of dated 11 april 2021 paid bill of rs 2630 even after paying twice bill they delibrately charges bill 1500 which we had not utilised too much electricity normally bills comes in range 500 to 600 also 2 3 times they had charged heavy bills to us.

However, because of covid 19, the last due date of the above said bill no.

Oversight i have paid the same bill again by mistake vide receipt of on line bill payment no.

April 2020.

complaint about defective meter and access bill

I have made a written complaint for my higher meter consumption (Aprox 6-7 times of my normal usage) in month of july/august-2019. After following personally so many times they have not checked the meter. Now i am waiting for my meter replacement since last 3 months have passed. I have contacted many persons but in vain. Bill amount is piling up and every month somebody from the mseb comes to enquire for bill, when told about the problem and shown the complaint, they return back but no action is taken so far. I do not know how much times is sufficient for such issues but certainly not 3 months.

high electricity bill

non-replacement of faulty meter in spite of several applications made to the concerned officer.

I am paying bills from last 3 years without meter reading as meter is faulty. The same is brought into the notice of concerned office verbally as well as in written application is given several times. No action has been taken as to the replacement or repair of faulty meter. I have to pay the electric bills for units that is not used by me.
Kindly do the needful so as to replace the meter and refund of excess bills l made to the company. Thanks

Bill not corrected for two years

I have been chasing with the mseb office in mumbra from past two years. The meter reading had shown 100% fast reading since march 2015 until october 2015. The bill shows the amount of over rs. 2 lakhs. The old meter was replaced and my average reading was taken as 182 per month which was quite excessive than the normal consumption. The electricity bill was still not corrected. Later, i complained to the mseb office on the high meter reading on the replaced meter. They checked from their end and changed the meter reading to 120 per month mentioning the replaced meter also shows high reading. The replaced meter has gone faulty and is showing faulty meter reading of 244 for the last 3-4 months. Please be advised that i have already paid over rs. 30000/- since march 2015 (More than what should be actually paid). The electricity company has been sending bills including interest of around 2500 every month for the bill amount which has not been corrected yet. The total electricity bill has reached to rs. 241880 till october 2016.in protest, i am not going to pay any further money to mseb for the overcharged bill until my bill is corrected and then only the meter is replaced. Please let me know if i anything is needed to get my electricity bill corrected. Please help!

Excess electricity charges for faulty meter of closed shop

I am a owner of one small shop which had closed from last 2 to 3 years at Diva (E), Thane, Maharashtra 400612 & having a MSEDC electricity meter no.[protected].
In the month of Oct 2015 I had received a bill of Rs.450 & in Nov 2015 670 for zero unit consumption of electricity. Suddenly, in Dec 2015 I had received a bill of Rs.7220.00 after that every month increase by Rs.2000 approximate. For your reference I hereby attached the images of summary of electricity charges from Oct 2015 to Sept 2016. Now the department cut my meter and charge me Rs.25, 350. When my wife visit the office of MSEDC at Diva (E), they are not ready to revised the electricity bill and use very rough language and told us that "Do what do you want do, go any where and complain about us, we are file a FIR against you etc."
We are very frosted. I am a very small middle class individual. From where I can arrange this big amount for these types of fraud bill amount.
Please help me in this matter.

Recently in August 2015 we have purchase a new flat at Warje (Suyog Aura) op posit CIPLA foundation.in Jan 2016 I have received a Bill for using 204 units and it received late. irrespective of the due date though received late I have paid the same on 1th of Feb 2016.
My views are as under :
1. Bill copy shows the connection date (puravatha date) is 9/9/2015. And I have received my first bill in late Jan 2016. Am surprised for late billing. Also it gave me pain for the rate for 204 units used in four months have been billed in one month, with incremental rate as 204 units have been utilised in one month. This is not acceptable. The right charges are to be calculated on monthly usage basis. while visiting to the office I have been told that in the next bill we shall make correction.
Am surprised with this attitude that first we commit a mistake at customer's cost and then we rectified. is it not wonderful. instead it should have been right at first time. Hope the authorities will agree with the views I have mentioned. And shall correct in due course of time.
Also my bill copy does not contain photo of meter reading.
Please take corrective action and replay me with the result of the same.
