Maharashtra Traffic Police — Wrong Violation & Fine applied on E-Challan and harassment

Address:Vasai West, Palghar

Dear Sir,
Today, on 7th Jan 2022 at 20:10 hrs, I was stopped by traffic police for triple seat on two wheeler. The traffic cop asked for my driving license and I showed him my driving license on mparivahan app from my mobile phone. He demanded for a physical driving license saying that soft copy on mparivahan app is not acceptable. My physical DL was at home. I asked him to give me a challan and I will pay the fine online. He asked me to hand-over the keys of my two wheeler to which I objected. He than got angry and said that now he will suspend my DL for 3 months and gave me a challan. He than took the keys and towed away my two wheeler and asked me to bring my original physical Driving License to him and he will suspend it. He applied three violations on the challan. One violation is wrongly applied just to suspend my License.
Maharashtra Traffic Police Challan No. MBYCM[protected]
The violations applied on the challan are :
1. MVA Sec.6(1)/179 for Driver found with two licenses in his name
2. MVA CMVR 50/177 for Number Plate Broken
3. MVA Sec.128(1)/194(C) for Drive a motor cycle in excess of seating
capacity

Fine charged is Rs.750 + Rs.500 + Rs.1000 == Rs.2250 (Total Fine)

Violation No.1 under MVA Sec.6(1)/179 for Driver found with two licenses in his name is a wrongly applied violation. I confirm hereby that I have only one driving license and that the traffic police has wrongly applied this section.

Hence, I hereby request you to kindly help me and remove this wrongly appled violation on the challan.

Request you to kindly look in to the matter and resolve.

Thanking you in advance.
Regards,
Aditya H Panchal
