Mahindra And Mahindra — Clutch Plate, Flywheel issue | |||
I purchased the car in the year Oct, 2014 with registration no. OD02S5167 from Utkal Automobiles Pvt. Ltd, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Clutch was having some issues(it used to be very tight) from the beginning and whenever, I was complaining about it, the service centre people will always say, it has no issue and will be free after running some kilometer. It has never happened. Before some days, it has started showing some signs of slowness in the car and it was not picking up well. On 6th Jun2017, I reported to their service center at Pahal, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The service centre person Mr. Jagadish informed me that it has happened as the driver was driving th vehicle by using half clutch. How it is possible that somebody will drive the vehicle with half clutch throughout the journey. I have argued with them but they insisted that I need to pay money. By complaining, nothing is going to happen, we have all the evidence. As the vehicle used for kids to drop them at school, I have to pay and bring the vehicle. Initially, they told me that it is only clutch plate issue, then flywheel. I went to net to know about similar complain in XUV 500. I found out that many people are facing similar problem with XUV 500. I would request for necessary action. I have to pay Rs40k for this and total bill was Rs54, 517 Was this information helpful? | |||
