We have purchased the subject vehicle (SCORPIO - automatic) on 08 April 2014 from M/s.Sireesh Auto, Madivala, Bangalore. After two days of the purchase we had Jerking of the Gear and the engine used to rise abnormally during the gear shift (for all Gears). Immediately we took the vehicle to Sireesh Auto Service center, and same was adjusted/rectified and gave the vehicle back.
Now again while going on a long drive the same issue of Gear jerking started, but this time it was while Gear shifting between 3rd to 4th or 4th to 5th Gear. This happened while we were travelling to Ooty which was 2hrs journey from Mysore which took us 10hrs to reach with the embarrassment of standing on the middle of the road along with the family and the children till the engine to cool down which was extremely getting heated up during the Gear shift raise.
Somehow with great difficulty we have reached Bangalore and sent the vehicle to M/s.Sireesh Auto to attend the complaint and our surprise we get an estimate of Rs.50, 000/- plus Labour charges extra for a vehicle which is run only 18, 000 KM, which is totally unreasonable. Later we understood that this estimate was given to us without any inspection of the vehicle in detail, though the vehicle was in the service center.If Sireesh Auto is charging Rs.50, 000/- + for a vehicle which is run only 18, 000 KM, we wonder what will be there charges after 50, 000 KM. We also have other make MUV which is run more than 2Lakh Kilometers without any problem with a reasonable maintenance cost.
This is not the 1st time it is happening to us for buying a Mahindra Vehicle from Sireesh. We had purchased a XUV-500(KA-03-MQ-0771) vehicle on[protected] where we had a very serious issue of break failures which your company has accepted and replaced the breaks. However we were not satisfied with your kind of service and the defective vehicle delivered to us. So we had sold XUV-500 (KA-03-MQ-0771) and bought this vehicle (SCORPIO- KA-03-MT-7542) in this transaction we had to loose around Rs.5.00Lakhs for the no fault o[censored]s.
Now we understand after seeing the review/ complaints of Scorpio automatic more than 90% of the vehicle are with the same issues. It is totally unacceptable that Mahindra manufactures a defective vehicle and sells for which dealers like Sireesh take advantage of the Manufacturing defectsand make money by misguiding the customers. We have also observed that M/s. Sireesh Auto service center is more sales office then of service. For any minor repairs also they show a big problem and charge huge amount.
We have taken a decision that we will not use any of Mahindra Vehicles in future and recommend people in our network not to buy Mahindra Vehicles. Safety of our family and friends are our utmost Priority and we will definitely not use this vehicle, so we don’t want to sell this vehicle also to any one from our end and put their lives in danger. Hence we have decided not to take the delivery of the vehicle given to Sireesh Auto Service Center. We would suggest you to take back Your Defective Vehicle.
We hope you understand our concern and take necessary steps to close this issue.
