Mahindra And Mahindra — engine lock of scorpio no. wb-26t-4749 due to negligence of mohan motors (mahindra)

Our scorpio, regn. No. Wb-26t-4749 was travelling from ecopark to airport when it stalled and the engine got locked without warning. We took the car to the designated workshop where we were presented with an estimate of rs. 83, 200/- plus taxes. Subsequently, after two days, we received a phone from sh. Bidhyadhar nayak of mohan motors stating the cost would now be rs.1, 80, 000/- plus taxes although the engine was yet to be opened and the service center was trying to prepare our mind for any expenses that the can bill on the pretext of engine lock. On seeking clarification, we were told that this was an assumption and not the actual cost.

We had given the car for its maintenance last december 2017 to the mohan motor workshop. We paid rs. 25, 000/- for this. What has surprised us is that the car should stall as it did, just few months after (And only running a further 7610 kms.) getting full service done from your workshop where it is assumed that all changes, rectifications, if any, were done.

The car has since been with mohan motors workshop. Again, the various estimates given to us were done even without opening the car/engine. This seems very unprofessional.

We have consistently put our trust and confidence on mohan motors for all our car needs since last few years. We have purchased 18 mahindra vehicles from mohan motors based on this mutual trust and confidence and we had at least expected some degree of professionalism and understanding of the situation.

Despite, our endeavors to explain our part, your representatives have not been sympathetic to our point of view and left us with no recourse but to communicate with you directly. We have received a call from hyderabad from mohan motor customer satisfaction center[protected]. We had relayed the same complaint to them as well. This was on[protected] at 4.11 pm. They promised to have a survey team to evaluate the survey team which would get back in touch with us. But till date we, have not received any sort of information.

We have purchased many vehicles from mahindra through the partners, prasanna kumar roy and kajal soni roy and have been dealing with you for many years for our vehicle needs.

We request you to please, let have a fair deal regards the above case.

We had purchased TUV 300 vehicle from India carriage bearing vehicle No TN 13 M 3258 . body fittings is very worst. And mileage is around 10Km/ Ltr. No one attending this complaint
