My Name is Ahmad Saad Shamsi and I have paid 21, 000 in A Automovers bank account on 06th Oct Bank Ref # BM12790***631888 to book Dazzling Silver AX7 AT Diesel
on 7th oct since morning i was trying to do online booking as well just to ensure timely delivery but couldn't do it, so just to ensure the car is booked I visited the dealership in evening and got confirmation of my chosen variant booked and he showed the confirmation on his tablet
on 8th of oct I got 2 emails from Mahindra for booking confirmation but none of them had any booking reference number
on oct 20th I got an email from Mahindra confirming my order with reference number OTF22B000346 and confirming the launch price locked for my booking as it has been done on day 1,
on Thu, Oct 28, 2021 3:31 pm I got another email confirming the delivery date of 06/Jan/2022 against order # OTF22B000346 following to this email I have sent confirmation to A Automovers's sales person Mr Saurabh
now when we arrived at December 4th and delivery date is approximately 30 days far I have sent all docs to bank and tried to contact my sales person for quotation, on day 1 he ignored my request saying please sent confirmation of delivery let us check on our Dealer Management System, on Day 2 I sent him couple of messages but he ignored my messages and disconnected the call every time I tried to reach him then I sent message to his line manager Mr Pawan, he asked me to send the booking and confirmation as well so I did. Again I waited for complete 24 hours but no response, on arriving on Day 3 I sent reminder messages and called couple of times but calls went unanswered and no response to messages from both, on Day4 morning I become impatient and called dealership landline they asked me to call someone Avadh Shukla, he was kind enough to call Saurabh in his office and took all the details from him and assured that you will get a call back after 5 mins.
Now Comes the Most Interesting Part - Saurabh Called Back After 5 Mins And Said- "THE CAR ARRIVING ON 6TH JAN IS PETROL VERSION, IF YOU ARE WILLING TO ACCEPT WE CAN SEND QUOTATION RIGHT AWAY OTHERWISE WE DONT HAVE ANY DELIVERY DATE OF DIESEL VARIANT IT WILL BE COMMUNICATED TO YOU THE SAME WAY YOU RECEIVED THE PETROL VARIANT DELIVERY DATE BY SMS, ITS A TECHNICAL ERROR DUE TO WHICH 2 CARS GOT BOOKED ON YOUR NAME, PETROL & DIESEL BOTH"
Dear Mahindra My Question to you is - "can I book a car without paying any deposit of 21000 ? if No how 2 cars got booked in my name when i paid deposit for only 1, this means there is fraudulent ways of booking car by dealer point, and they booked cars in unethical way
when I sent them copy of docs which is being used for 2 bookings under my name - so all the numbers which Mahindra has shown 25, 000 booking on day 1, another 25, 000 on day 2 is basically a gimmick to fool market and gain rush ? it is morally not correct to manipulate customers privacy breach his documentation and fool him around.
I am truly disheartened with this whole incident and feel ditched by company for trusting them
i feel cheated by dealership and by company Mahindra for loosing trust by following unethical means
Today morning when i was called by Saurabh I asked him to write the incident on letter head mentioning all what happened, I told him I will take this to Mahindra and i wont let this go - on that he simply avoided the situation on call by talking on someone else while i was speaking on call and hung up without saying anything about it
I hope Mahindra will investigate the situation and find reasonable solution considering all the aspects and proofs being provided.
