I have a xylo registered no sk 01z - 0684 (Taxi), purchased from sikkim motors gangtok in 2017 april. The vehicle is under warranty. On 31/12/2019 the vehicle was pushed to sikkim motors workshop for unusual sound from undergear and premature failure of hub bearing and other related parts. The maintenance manager mr ramesh refused to attend the vehicle under warranty. The vehicle is lying unattended in workshop for last 5 days. Upon persuasions he agreed to give 50 percent discount on parts which have failed prematurely. The negotiation is not clear to me and it appears to be his personal intension to harass customer and extract some personal gains rather than to serve customer as per company policy.
Please note that, i have also made several complains through toll free registered mob [protected] but i am not satisfied with the response of customer care.
As per the vehicle condition, the vehicle is frequently giving repeated problems expecially failure o[censored]nder gears parts within nominal running of vehicle. This is the third time i am sending the vehicle for undergear premature fail. Once it had happened that sikkim motors released the vehicle with loosened wheel fasteners. The vehicle failed after 30 km of running. Sikkim motor apologized nme but the damaged was already done. The present failure of hub bearing can be the result of poor servicing by sikkim motors. Further the apathy shown by sikkim motors especially by mr ramesh to attend and rectify the failed parts is adding displeasure to me apart from financial loss. It is the legal duty of the workshop to attend and rectify the problem free of cost within warrantry.
Similar complaints have been made by me against sikkim motors for lack of customer care, apathy, negligence and disregard for safety. Please see my earlier letter dated 1/9/2018 for unsafe illegal maintenance practices followed by sikkim motors.
It appears that sikkim motors happen to be regular offender for lack of customer care and violating safety norm.
I request you to kindly resolve the issue without further complications. I look forward to receive a positive response from you.
Failing which i shall exercise my common law right to carry out the work and look to you to bear the cost.
