Mahindra & Mahindra — Manufacturing defect in new mahindra vehicle xuv 500 w10 | |||
Sir I had purchased a new Mahindra XUV w10 vehicle on 18 Jan 2016 from Vadodara. The vehicle had run for meager 1700 Km that it developed a failure in the gear box in Bangalore within 25 days of its purchase. Since then the vehicle is lying in service station for repair of the vehicle. I have been told by the mechanics of Mahindra service station that there is manufacturing defect in the gear box of the vehicle and the complete assembly has to be replaced and will be shipped from Pune to bangalore. Sir since then I have been struggling to get my vehicle back on road after servicing. I feel I have been cheated by the company and no positive signs of support have been visible from them. Throughout this time I have been struggling in commuting and has been shelling chunk of money in transportation. It is pertinent to mention that I have taken a loan of Rs 13 Lakh for which I am paying a heavy EMI of Rs 18, 000 per month and this when clubbed with the money I am spending on commutation presently, it is becoming difficult for me and my family to cope up with the increased financial expenses. I have lost the trust in the company and the vehicle I purchased and moreover as it says any new vehicle going to service station for such critical defect, it looses its life by 01 Year. I humbly request that the vehicle should be replaced with new one and should be adequately compensated for mental agony and inconvenience caused to self and my family till now. The response of the company has been pathetic and so called customer relationship manager has not put an iota of effort to understand my state of mind as a person whose brand new vehicle is lying in service station for last 15 days unattended till now. I m worried there may be more such faults in the vehicle which can put me and my family in trouble ahead. Sir I earnestly request to kindly help me in this case, so that I can be in normal state of mind and I get what I deserve as compensation to this mental trauma presently undergoing through.
