[Resolved] Make My Trip — completely disappointed with the attitude of mmt customer care and hotel staff | |||||
Hotel staff refused to give room. Whereas we had already booked 4 room from makemytrip in advance. We had a group of 10 people, including women and children. Our hotel booking was started from 10 o'clock. But due to our train time, we arrived at the hotel at 9 o'clock. When we showed the booking ticket to the hotel staff/owner, he refused to clear, that there is no booking on ours. And he said that he cannot help us, we have to talk directly to the mmt customer care. Then, when it started talking to the customer care. He lasted 3 hours. And had to call about 10 to 15 times during this time. And customer careers blocked our mobile numbers also. The customer care were not ready to take any responsibility. We needed to talk to different mobile phones every time. And during this time our whole group had to wait on the road outside the hotel. Customer care representatives were also unwilling to make any help. They were saying that you have any other arrangements; we will refund your money. But on our repeated talk, we were given a hotel at 12 o'clock. Our this experience with makemytrip was very bad that spoiled our tour in the entire morning and our tour planning. And the entire group had to wait for 3 hours outside the hotel. Very disappointing accident. Further, in reference to your complaint, while validating your case we have found that our concern team has handled your case and provided alternate property. Please be advised that the initial booked hotel has denied to check-in at the last moment and it was difficult for our team to confirm any alternate property at the last moment. However, team has approached different hotel to get the rooms confirm for guest and finally they managed to get confirmation in Hotel Shree Gurukreepa. We sincerely apologize for the unpleasant instance. This is not in accordance to our service standards nor do we expect any such practices. We have taken cognizance of your comments and the spirit in which you have shared your feedback. It is unfortunate to note that your recent experience with us has not been up to your satisfaction. We assure that every possible attempt is made to ensure complete satisfaction.
