Dear Sir/Ma'am,
I had booked a hotel for 2 days (Grant deluxe in Meerut) on 11th november. I checked in at 8 pm on 23rd november 2015 and checked out on 24th november. The payment of the booking was already done on 11th of November 2015 via online payment.
On 2nd day of our atay hotel owner said that he did not get any payment from anybody and hence was not letting us check out until payment is given to the hotel.
Seeing the situation, I called MMT customer care but did not get any solution. I called again and this time some other executive picked who finally suggested me to pay hotel in cash and assured me that I would get the refund within 3 working days.
So I paid 1900 (950rs per day) cash to hotel because i had to catch the train urgently.
After 3 days when I did not receive any kind of communication from Make my trip, I lodged a written complaint to Make my trip to which reference ID was also given Reference ID:[[protected]] which further assured me to resolve the issue in next 5 working days.
After 5 days when I still did not get any solution they gave me a date (08th Dec 2015) by which I should get my refund.
Now I am writing on 11th of December 2015 and I still did not get any information about my payment.
I am completely surprise at the inefficient of Make my trip that they cannot resolve the issue even in 20 days. I recommend all the passengers not to book any hotel through Make my trip. There are other online websites available in market which offer excellent services and far more exciting offers than MMT.
As a last resort I have to choose the way of consumer forum. Hope that i would get some solution now
