[Resolved] Make My Trip — Unprofessional service and cheats | |||||
We booked a usa package almost 5 months back in dec 2015 from make my trip.At that time, the website had mentioned good location hotels(like in new york, hotel right in front of central park in mahattan . and in vegas- hotel right in middle of strip), and we were promised that the hotels wont change . But now about 1 month before departure, they have completely changed the locations and given the cheapest hotels possible at the outskirts. When contacted at their helpline number- they just keep on saying we will do something, but no one resolves the issue. We have tried contacting their helpine number so many times, but most times it is impossible to even through to their concerned department.But definitely no one calls back to resolve the matter. After leaving many messages requesting to speak to any senior, it is always a junior employee who comes on the line, who does not have any authority to resolve a issue. Make my trip is possibly the most unprofessional and most arrogant travel site that i have encountered. We have been urging the company to collect the payment from us, but still they have not bothered to collect the payment(i dont know yet whether that is a good thing or no), which is quite strange, because all travel companies would be quite eager to take payment as soon as possible. We still have 14 more days for our vacation to begin, but already this experience with the travel site is making me feel uneasy and unsure about the services during the trip.
